This stuff is great! It stays on forever and so versatile to use. The brush that comes with it is a bit too hard and bristly (sore scratchy feeling sometimes) but does its job well. The colour is a true matte black(YUSSS finally) and the texture of the creme is very smooth. No smudging or flaking as well.
Bought it off trademe for NZ$16 but I suspect it will be much more expensive in stores(though I haven't seen it in stores yet). Definitely a repurchase - which probably won't happen for at least a year as you only need a tinsy winsy bit each time.

I have to add to the raves...this stuff is amazing and the blackest black I own. I even think the brush is fine...I kind of like the coarse texture because you can sort of smudge it into your lash line that way. It is pricey, but is ALWAYS on sale (I got it for $6). Better than high end products. Stays PUT.

I've tried Clinique and Smashbox cream eyeliners, but this one beats both. The color glides on much smoother, is a very deep black, and lasts longer. It is not water resistant, so it will smudge up a little if you get teary. There is a lot of product in the glass/metal container. Scrap the nasty little brush it came with unless you like having your eyelids ripped off! I use a Smashbox cream eyeliner brush and "push" the liner on from the lashline upwards all the way across, and then blending it all with a smooth fingerstroke.

Love this product. Was looking for a fluidline-type liner with more bang for the buck and this is it. I will not complain about the price, as I've heard others do, because I believe the pot is twice as bit as FL and a few dollars less; and I feel it's a high-quality product (don't care that it's from a drugstore).

This stayed put for 10 hours on my oily lids without smudging (I did use a primer, and dusted e/s on top). Quite a feat since I have hooded eyes and all liners usually end up on my upper lid. Had to change my washing routine to get it completely off -- can't complain if it's going to wear so well.

I like the texture (smoother, makes clean [less choppy] lines and doesn't cake on my brush, which I can't say for my FL. In its defense, my FL is a bit aged.

I wasn't looking for an inky jet black but this is. I'm happy with it, I just put a little e/s on top to tone it down. Wish this came in more colors, esp. a gray.

This was my first experience using a cream/gel eyeliner. I asked the ladies on the makeup board here to recommend a good eye liner to create a 'winged eye' look, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase! First of all, I don't use the brush that came with it. I used the eye liner brush from everyday minerals and the results are amazing! I smooth, straight line, little effort involved, and I finally was able to perfect the winged look. It also stays put very well and creates a clean line. I will never go back to using the revlon colorstay eye liner that I had always used before! Definite HG, and I will repurchase. I only wish it were a bit cheaper for a drugstore product, but its a quality item.

This is a wonderful product. It is a DEEP, matte, jet black, not a hint of grey around. It has lasted for 10 hours on me, no smudging, not even under my lower lashes. It applies very smoothly, and it does not flake. I would definitely purchase this again. I got it buy one get one free, so this was a great deal!

I bought this hoping for a cheaper alternative to MAC Blacktrack, and so far I love it. It's the bomb for lining the inner rims; it lasts forever with no irritation. It is a bit thicker in texture than other gel liners I've tried, but it didn't cause any problems during application (I use MAC's 209 brush for the rims and BB's ultra fine liner brush for lids). And this black is BLACK, really black, no grey or blue tones here. Good stuff, a bit pricey for drugstore, but the huge pot should last forever at the rate I use it.

Love these liners! I got this at Ulta in a BOGO sale with a $3.50 coupon. ;) I picked this one because it looked like the blackest black I've ever seen. It goes on with ease and looks awesome! I like to use this as a base for my Urban Decay Oil Slick, it's fantastic. :) I would purchase these again in a heartbeat... luckily the pot is so big I probably won't have to do that for awhile. :)

I am *so* glad L'Oreal got on the gel liner bandwagon because their offerings IMO are very good!
I have BB Black gel liner and the HiP version is the hands down winner for me for ease of application. It's creamier and easier to get a nice even line. I found BB's to be stiffer/harder in comparison. (I have several MAC gel liners too but not Blacktrack...)
I've found MAC's #209 works wonders for lining the top lid and MAC's #231 the nicest I've tried for the lower inner rim or even tighlining. It's flat and rounded so it feels gentler than a flat topped brush (and if I"m not mistaken, it's a little similar to BB's gel liner brush too).

I've had no problems with running/smearing/irritating but I haven't tried swimming in it yet...hence the cautionary *4* lippie rating. So far so good!! I'm happy.

I haven't tried MAC fluidlines personally so I can't compare .These are very pigmented color cream liners that come in a glass pot with a brush that is useless ( you'll have to use your own).I have tried in black which is a true jet black and in midnight blue: a shimmery vibrant navy color. The application was easy however they do tend to clump a bit so you have to be careful .They stayed put throughout the day ,I used them for both tightlining and water lining.I give them 3 lippies because my allergic eyes reacted horribly to them, they were burning , watery and blood shot by the end of the day,I had to return them. Ladies with sensitive eyes ,this may not be the product for you.

EDIT: I am knocking off 1-lippie because it does smear after a full day of wear. I will use this up, but I think I will stick with MAC FL as they last longer for me personally. I am glad I decided to get this based on the reviews here! I got this in the brown color. The texture is way different than MAC FL, these do apply thicker like cream, and I found these way more pigmented than FL. The eyeliner is quite dark, the black almost looks like a blackest black. I like how these apply as well. I did just try it on, so we will see how long it lasts, and if I will buy the other colors. So far, this is a great d.s find. Thumbs up on this one from me. Oh, and I don't use the brush, cause it's a piece of crap. I used an eyeliner brush that I have, and it worked great!

Smooth texture, deeper pigment, wonderful packaging, and cheaper per oz. I prefer over MAC Blacktrack DDD NW45 or HIP818. Cost $5 on ebay.
