This is one of my staple acne treatments. So far it's the best one I've tried, and alternate it with the Ole Henriksen On-The-Spot because that one attacks with benzoyl peroxide. It seems sometimes my skin reacts better to one than the other, and both are equally effective- you see results overnight. I have had cysts shrink or disappear, and whiteheads dry, within 2-3 applications.

This product did absolutely nothing for my pimples. It stings, only dries them, but leaves a big red area, and I was breaking out more elsewhere. Pure tea tree oil works way better, but I still haven't found the perfect non-stinging/overdrying, antinflammatory and effective acne treatment. I heard phytome (not phytomer) acne gel works wonders. I'll see about that, because I have not seen any reviews of this canadian manufacturer.

This stuff has worked GREAT for me. I get occasional breakouts on my jaw and around my hairline. This product cleared up all of my existing breakouts and has gotten rid of any new breakouts at the first sign of them. Because I use such a small amount, I haven't really noticed the smell at all.

My skin is usually pretty good, although I do get a breakout here and there. This stuff is great as a spot treatment, mainly because it doesn't dry out your skin excessively like so many other spot treatments do. It works quickly and rather gently and can be worn under makeup. After a long search for a good spot treatment, I'm happy I've finally found it!

I have been lucky my whole life and have really had perfect skin (or just about as close as perfect as one can hope for), but I went on the Nuva Ring for b/c a few months back and all hell broke loose. I developed hormonal chin acne and a few occasional breakouts on my forehead.
The Murad Acne Spot treatment has been my savior. It goes to work as soon as a blemish starts, so they never really turn into anything. I got it at Sephora for I believe $15. A little goes a long way.
The only drawback is that sulfur is the main ingredient, so as you can imagine, it doesn't smell very good. But it works at night and daytime under makeup, so I can put up with a bit of stinky sulfur aroma - which does fade after a few minutes use.
