I'm quickly running low on my Bad Girl Blue and need to start shopping for a replacement. I'm still dying for Dior Show but current circumstances prohibit the purchase.
I will admit that I was suckered in by the advertising of this product. I tend to focus on my eye make up and have yet to find a HG of mascara. I've been wearing the product for over 20 years, you'd think that by now ...
I digress.
I've read a mix of reviews here and should have erred on the side of caution. I thought, I can read, I can follow directions. How hard can this be? It's only mascara after all. I tried it first last night over my curent mascara - not bad. A little odd in the application, but not bad.
Today was the true test. It wasn't as goopy as some have said, could manage to wipe it on the sides. On the lashes it just wasn't pretty. I used the small end to apply product and the larger end to disperse. My lashes came out gooey and clumpy. Had to do a second coat of Max Factor.
Difinitely will NOT repurchase; don't even know if I'll keep in my makeup bag much longer.
The search continues.

Holy......SHIT!! I just bought this on a whim (even though i have 9783473 mascaras, Dior Show being my HG) and came home and read all the horrible reviews and got really dissapointed. Well I decided to try it out...I curled my lashes really good (i have thin stick straight lashes that fall down as soon as you put mascara on them) and wiped off the 2 lbs of mascara on the wand and then applied..."WOW im impressed" i said to myself. I waited and applied another coat...WOWOWOWOW!!! my lashes are still FULLY curled after 3 coats of this stuff, and it literally looks like im wearing fake eyelashes....I dont even get the "false lash effect" from dior show. Dare I say this is my new favorite mascara?
*Edit*
This definately ISSS my new favorite mascara. I have a before and after pic...dont mind my brow stubble

Terrible product. The packaging is some gaudy silver finish, that is beyond tacky. The forumula for this mascara seems very watery, and any amount that did make it onto my lashes, removed the curl and left me looking like a raccoon in less than an hour. The only upside to this is that I love the design of the brush. I've since washed the wand and used it with my Lancome flextencils which has a great formula but so-so brush. My lashes are now full, curvier, and long.

I was hopeful - NOT! Clumps, clumps and more clumps, even when I wiped the brush off first. Waste of money in waste can.

This could be a great mascara, a drugstore contender for DiorShow, but for the fact that there is nothing at the end of the tube to control the amount of mascara on the brush. The brush is great -- I have trouble with the big "teddy bear" brush of DiorShow, so I love the shape and size of the brush. But it comes out of the tube just gobbed with mascara. If you were to clean it off on a tissue each time, you'd easily lose one half to two thirds of the product in the tube. That's too wasteful for me. How could Revlon have missed this? This is a standard feature on any tube of mascara. Plus, I had to use an old mascara brush to clean up the clumps and separate out my lashes a bit. On a snarky note (yes, I know I'm going straight to hell for this), it's a darned shame Tammy Fay Baker passed away before she could get her hands on this -- if you want Tammy Fay Baker lashes, this is your mascara. On another note, I don't like products I have to "work". Work is where I go to earn a paycheck. Unless Revlon is planning on cutting me a check at the end of every week, I'm not going to learn how to "work" their product.

I saw the commercial and was so amazed by the promises it was making about making your lashes 25x fuller and stuff. Of course I couldn't wait to rush to the store and buy it. After spending like 8 dollars on the stuff, I was really dissapointed because it was such a clumpy mess! It went on clumpy and the formula in the tube was so dry. I was just really dissapointed. Won't be buying again.

i dont understand all these negative reviews. i LOVE this mascara. i dont even wear eye liner with this it brings my eyes out so much. yeah, when i first saw the wand i was thinking what the hell is this. but if you follow the instructions it gets the job done and then some. i gave it 4 lippies because it does seem to dry out fairly quickly.

First of all, I have to say that if this mascara brush were a person, it would be called Britney Spears. Yes, it is that much of a mess. I can't believe someone was actually paid to come up with this thing. Secondly, there is no device within the container to scrape off some of the mascara as you pull the brush out. That said, I still really like what this does for my skimpy lashes. It is great at building volume, and it lifts my lashes, even if I don't curl them first. Some mascaras do this weird thing to my lashes that makes them want to curl in weird directions, but this one keeps my lashes nice and straight and lifted. It stays on great all day, yet it comes off easily when I want with a little makeup remover. I won't re-purchase, though. The "brush" is just too lame.

ok im usually a fan of revlon mascaras, but when I opened the package i was like..what the hell?? is this it? the mascara wand is TINY. So, then i was like..ok dont freak...just try it out. Well after i tried it, i realized that there is nothign special about it at all. Granted...yes it DOES volumize...but it takes like such a long time to get every lash since the wand is so small...and it doesnt volumize any more than any other kind of volumizing masara...in conclusion- dont waste your money.

I have this in black/brown, but I feel the need to review this. I think the poor reviews are in part because the product is a little difficult to apply correctly. Yes, the brush is small. It does come out a little clumpy, but I've had no problems with how it goes onto my actual eyelashes. I've very pleased that I don't have to go over my eyelashes a million times to get volume. If you are looking for a natural look, this really isn't the product for you. It DOES say "I use mascara to get this volume". I find it goes particularly well with a smoked eye.
So, basically it does everything it says it does, but you have to wrangle with the brush a little bit.

I thought this product worked really well! There is a certain way how to apply the mascara with that brush. If you know how to apply it correctly, it really ends up multiplying, curling, and thickening your lashes. The first time I tried it I had no idea what I was doing so it came out just a mess but then I saw the way to use the brush correctly and it really plumped my sparse lashes! Give it a try and read the directions on the back how to use the brush!

This mascara just stinks. Does not go on smoothly and though I bought the waterproof formula, it pulled all the curl out of my lashes in no time flat. Also, as other reviewers have said, the brush is the pits ... very short bristles that the mascara get glopped up on. Don't waste your money like I did!

This is o.k. It's kind of goopy and beware the brush is wayyyyyy smaller than it looks on the packaging. BUT I do like the fact you can get right into your lashes with it. It's just too bad it's so goopy. It didn't smudge or flake on me. I will probably use it but wouldn't buy again.

I *almost* don't have words for how much I hated this product! I definitely know how to apply mascara and this was this biggest, most horrendous mess I've ever tried. Gloopy clumps with an impossibly teeny wand to attempt to work with. I didn't even make it out the door with it on. Immediately trashed. WRETCHED, WRETCHED, WRETCHED!

My first review!
This mascara is probably the worst I've ever used. I actually went out of my way to get it on my way home because Glamour said it was available at Target. I was so looking forward to using it the next morning...big letdown! :-( I hate when that happens, which is why I buy a lot of my cosmetics at CVS - their great return policy.
Says it creates 25x the volume...yeah, because it glues 25 lashes together! The brush is smaller than the pic of it on the packaging. It comes out of the tube just glopped on the brush so thick that the bristles aren't even grabbing your lashes in places. I think $1.99 mascara from Wet 'n Wild would be better than this stuff! The only thing good about it is the classy-looking tube; too bad its contents don't compare. Really, I can't stress enough...just worthless.
I'll be going back to my Maybelline Define-a-Lash for everyday; still holding out for that perfect nighttime mascara that creates volume and definition without spidery-ness!

This product is hit or miss depending on how much product you remove from the brush before application. It usually looks spiddery and unattractive.

i was desparate the other day when i bought this. i was spending an impromtu weekend at a friend's and had to make a drugstore run for a few essentials. i grabbed this b/c of the glitzy packaging, expecting at the very least a decent mascara that would tide me over for a day or two. but this is honestly awful. the brush is tiny, for starters, and packed with short, dense bristles. when i pulled it out of the tube it was just coated in globs of mascara...there was nothing within the tube to wipe the bristles off even a little bit. so all i get when i pull out the wand is a tiny spoolie completely globbed up with mascara. impossible to use something like that but try i did. i wiped it off on a kleenex as best as i could but i hate having to do that too--mascaras that require wiping are a waste of money and an inferior formula IMO. well...i attempted to apply this and all it did was clump my lashes together and make them look awful. i threw this away immediately. WALK AWAY FROM THIS!!!

Asolutely, hands-down, without-a-doubt the WORST mascara I've ever had the misfortune to purchase. I bought this in both washable and waterproof. The washable flakes all over my face, the waterproof is not, the mascara is so dry it's hard to spread and clumps all over my lashes (brand new tube). The brush is a joke. It's bristles are practically non-existant. Absolutely will not repurchase and tossed in the trash after one use.

Love this mascara. I put it on right at the base of the eyelashes, almost touching my eyeball, and let it lightly coat the tips of my eyelashes. I like the heavy, metal-like package. This mascara is not for those who are looking for a subtle, natural look. Its very heavy, thick mascara that can turn into a mess if you don't know how to work it.
