I was looking for a blue mascara and someone recommended this one in Black Royale. It turns out it is a dark navy blue - pretty on its own - but I have dark asian lashes and it doesn't show. The blue does not come in the waterproof but this mascara seems to lengthen and add volume. It doesn't curl on me, but I am willing to go back to get the waterproof one in black to see how that works, based on the favorable reviews!
Update: I've used this a few times now and I find this is not the mascara for me. It's quite heavy when I use 2 coats and that's when it begins to clump.
2nd Update: I picked up the waterproof as that's what I prefer in mascaras and while it does hold a curl, and the lengthening is so-so, it doesn't do anything in terms of volume. The huge brush does not help sparse and short lashes at all and it clumps - not heavily, but it does clump. I'm done trying this one.

Separates lashes really well and provides volume, but doesn't lengthen very well. I like that it doesn't clump and when you take the mascara out of the tube you don't get a clump of mascara on the end of the wand (that bugs me). The brush is big but I can still reach my bottom lashes with no problem (it's no messy like l'oreal voluminous). I would have given it a five if it provided more length.

I decided to try this because of the reviews I read here, just in case I liked it better than my HG mascara (NYX doll eye volume) since it is cheaper. I have average lashes that don't have natural curl to them, and average sized eyes. I had to put on about 4 coats to get really good volume and definition, which I didn't like. However, it didn't clump up or get gloppy even with applying those multiple coats, which I did like. It has decent staying power. My left eye started to water after I finished applying my MU today (that happens sometimes...annoying), and it smudged a little. However, I then took my kids to the park and chased them around in the hot sun and 87 degree heat and humidity for 2 hours, and it stayed put. I will keep this as my backup mascara for when I can't get to Ulta to get my regular mascara. It's decent for the money, but I like my NYX better.

I accidentally got this in Black-Brown even though I ALWAYS get black mascara. Oh well. I love this mascara! It doesn't clump, gives great volume, and even lengthens a bit. I can even put it on my lower lashes without clumps, which is amazing (and kinda weird) considering the size of the brush. Love it, will repurchase when it runs out. This time, in BLACK!

Great Mascara! I've been using this for over a year and absolutely love it! I wouldn't buy anything else. One coat does the trick. I have long but thin lashes and it is amazing. Lasts all day without smudging. I use it every day and one tube lasts me a month. I've turned my daughter on to it and now she's hooked as well. We just saw the three pack at Costco for $13.99. Great deal. Highly recommended!

CG's new Lash Blast is one the most popular drugstore mascaras out there. Their claim to give you "big, bolg, look at me lashes" had me racing to the drugstore to get a tube. Let's just see if it lives up to the hype!
*these are just my results. different lashes need different mascaras. I have typical "asian" lashes, a little thicker than most, if that helps*
ONE COAT: I untwist the top off. The brush bristles, originally orange, is now black. Suprisingly, there is no excess goop except for a little on the end which I scrape off. Using an index card above my lashes to guard my lid so i don't get horrible smears (
TWO COATS: Dip in the brush again, time for coat two. I have no idea whether you are supposed to let dry between coats, but I don't have that patience... Ahem. I wiggle the brush through my semi-dry lashes. This second coat REALLY makes a difference. Lovely volume and a little bit of length too.
THREE COATS: Three coats, three words: Oh. My. Gawdd. When I saw that commercial with Drew Barrymore, I never expected to have my lashes THAT volumized. Okay, so it's not, but it's as close as I'm going to get. Love it! A great falsh lash look. By the way, stick to two coats for bottom lashes if you're like me and have really sparse and short bottom lashes. I didn't even curl my lashes before actually and it lifted up my lashes (can't say this for everyone, my lashes are very light and easy to curl anyway). Don't rub the brush too hard agaisnt the index card, it's already wet and probably will make your lashes clump.
AT THE END OF THE DAY: After a day of shopping with my gals, I checked the mirror to see how this mascara holds up. I say- very impressive... it looks the same as it did in the morning. No flaking or smudging.
RECCOMENDED FOR: Most lash types. For any look from high drama to au naturale, it's very buildable. May be a bit difficult for people with small eyes, short lashes. Again, to prevent accidently smearing the product on your lid, use the index card trick and bend the wand (I promise it won't break lol). If you are a beginner, I don't think you should purchase this as your first mascara. Don't expect this to give definition or too much length. They are releasing a LashBlast Length soon though.
SO? This mascara delivers great results, when you know how to use it right. The brush IS a bit difficult to control. However, the fact that the volume it gives rivals high end products four times the price makes me overlook that and give Lash Blast 5/5 lippies.

I like this mascara because it does what it says!! it definitely gives more volume and lenght!! The price is cheap. I used to use the mac zoom mascara and I loved it !!! but it's good to find an alternate mascara that give similar result for less cheaper.

I love this, and it doesn't clump. This would be my HG for DS mascaras. I get it in Very Black. I think a browner one would not show up very well. It separates well, too.

I don't get the hype about this mascara. It is definitely better than most ds brands, but there are much much better high end mascaras out there.

I definately will be buying this mascara again. It's my HG mascara; that's why :) It really lengthens my lashes and kinda.. gives them a curl? Anyways; it's awesome.
