This review is for the secret concealor, not the camouflage...I think some of the other reviews are confusing the 2 products. That said...I *love* this concealor!!!! I have been on the search for so long to find a concealor that covers my very, very dark undereye circles. This concealor is thick and creamy and goes on like a dream. Set it with loose powder...and you are set for all day! I have the lightest shade and it is a bit peachy/orange in color which is perfect for those dark circles. (my skintone is MAC NW20). This product is actually the same color as MAC's select cover-up in peach corrector...but so much thicker (i found MACs to be too thin). This is my new HG concealor! Thanks pamelaMUA for your recs on this product!

Okay, first of all, this IS NOT the Sercret Camouflage!!!! This is the Secret CONCEALOR! I think a lot of people have mixed up the two while reviewing, because the Seret Concealor does NOT have 2 colours. Anyways, I love this product. It has proven to be the best concealer for my undereye circles ever.My skin there is quite dry, and this is the only product that is emollient enough to cover them without going all gross looking, or creapy; it doesnt accent the dryness. It conceal well too, and when set with powder afterwards, it last all day. This is the only concealor that i can actually touch up my face with, without having to reapply moisturizer. However, it does come in a miniscule amount, and is quite expensive. I would certainly NOT recommend it to anyone who has oily skin. Dont' even go near it. But for people who need a product that isn't drying, then go for it.

RIS and was terribly disappoint, as many here stated they were. I didn't have a problem with the color...those 2 were fine for me...but the consistancy was very hard! Trying to get them to mix together was like mixing cookie dough! Then trying to apply under my eyes was ridiculous...the brush pulled and tugged at the delicate skin...just what I want to do...create MORE wrinkles! Since it was so dry I had to work the brush quite a bit, and that was too much effort, IMO. I prefer those that glide on. Will definitely not go for this again.

Well, I pretty much agree with the negative reviews here. It's overpriced considering the quality of the product and the packaging is ugly. I have the SC2 and the colors are alright.

I've used palette-type concealers for a couple of years now. This one is very similar in texture to the Quo Bags-away palette. I also use Lise Watier's concealer which is the same idea but with more colours than you would ever use. I use a brush and the back of my hand and I like being able to add yellow and moisturizer to the basic color for the eye area, then use the main color for red areas. But the colors in the Laura Mercier are unusable without mixing and it seems like a waste of time. It's basically yellow and pink. Neither color can be used alone so what's the point of having 2?

The texture is dry for eye area and the coverage is not outstanding. I wouldn't buy it again.

I recently had a make-over at LM and had tried their secret camouflage (SC-3)with the oil free foundation in sunny beige. I was completely amazed at the coverage it had and how natural it. I definitely had a flawless-looking face at the end of it. Down sides are the cost (AU$62) and depending on the area that you may have to apply it onto, it may take some time.

I had been itching to try this and was able to swap for it. I was a little shocked when I first applyed it, as it has a noticable orange colour(I got the lightest shade). As I blended it, however, it seemed to just melt into my skin. The orange made the blue tones of my undereye circles vanish and looked perfect on my skin even in daylight. I was very impressed with this concealer and would buy it again.

This is the perfect color for me. Its does hide my dark circles and its easy to put on. It blends into my skin perfectly and sometimes I can't even tell its on.

I love Laura Mercier's Foundations but this concealer really sucked. It doesn't conceal a thing. And the fact it's greasy gives it no staying power.

Firstly I never bought this product I just had a demonstration done on me while I was in search of a new concealer.

I was really tempted to buy it especially when a friend of mine raved about it.....but the whole big drama of 'blending two colours' to get the right shade of your own skin colour, having to get the expensive synthetic hair fine tipped brush, mixing in expensive eye cream for eye concealer areas....dot here.....blend in blablabla, set with powder.....it was sounding like too much for someone who likes to sleep in as much as possible then rush out the door and slap on some makeup on the way to work.

Plus I really couldn't stomach the price... I really wanted to like this concealer but the price was ridiculous and once she put it on I found it too dry looking and a bit obvious and clumpy for my dry, flakey, very acne prone skin.

I would probably love to have this stuff for special evening occasions when Id be happy to sit down and take the time to bother with much more coverage and where the consistency of this concealer wont be as obvious at night. But the cost versus the amount of special occasions I have wasnt justified-and especially when I need concealer every day of the week.

The product looks like it would last a long time-that is a plus.

But I really dont like 'open' concealer pots where it looks like its too easy for bacteria to get in. Then there would be times where you would be tempted to use your finger in the pot instead of the fiddly brush idea...

Once i went over to the Christian Dior counter to compare LM with the Hydrating concealer, the application was effortless, light, hydrating and the product was much cheaper and looks like it will last me a long time too....

This is one concealer that really works on the under-eye area. It goes on creamy and blends out very nicely. I really like the way it looks on me.I purchased the lightest shade (I wear blush ivory in the oil-free foundation) and it is a good match.

Very disappointed in this concealer. I really wanted to like it because it was awarded "Best Concealer" by Allure magazine, but it just didn't work for me. No matter how much eye cream I used, the secret concealer was still very cakey (and I have oily skin). My skin is not golden at all and I do have trouble with makeup looking orange, but this seemed to be the correct color in the store. I was definitely wrong! The color changed to a funky orange throughout the day. So I had cakey orange strips under my eyes. Not nice! I will definitely stick to my Clinique City Cover Compact Concealer - 100x better and less expensive!

I bought this because the color was perfect for my skin, however, it is hard to apply with the LM secret concealer brush because it doesn't go on evenly. And it seems to brighten up my undereye circles, but it does look a bit cakey on my skin. Overall, I wouldn't buy it again but I'm hoping to like it more since I've already started to use it.

I wanted to like this. The color *seemed* right at Nordstrom but, alas, I've decided that LM may not be the best brand for olive tones. Coverage is nice but kind of stiff in the application.

This concealer is really heavy duty stuff - it's super thick and creamy so I wouldn't recommend it for oily skins. It's best applied using a brush, then gently patted into the skin with a finger. A little goes a long long way, and it really does cover up any blemishes or dark circles.I found that it tended to crease and slip though, so I needed to set it with some loose powder.

I bought this on E-bay and have been very disappointed. I got it in the Light, which may be the wrong shade for me, but the color is not very good - a weird peachy orange color. I also don't like the consistency - too oily and doesn't go on easily at all. I couldn't get it to cover blemishes or undereye circles. I wouldn't buy this again. I prefer the Estee Lauder concealers over this.

I am a little on the fence with this product. The pinkish shade does really make your eye area much more rested looking, and the consistency of the concealer is creamy but not so much that it settles into fine lines, and also not too dry so you have the option of layering how much powder on top. The only issue is that it does not neutralize bluishness on the inner corners, so for that I need another yellow based concealer.

Did NOT conceal my dark circles, period. The makeup artist applied it and even he admitted it wasn't covering my dark circles. I bought it anyways and experimented, but NO LUCK. Found it hard to apply and quite drying also. I'd have to see it to believe it from all the lovers of this concealer. They must not have very dark circles in comparison to mine.

this is probably the best concealer i've ever used (and i have tried a lot)--really covered up my dark circles. i thought the color would be took dark (#2 and i'm very pale), but it was just right. goes on smoothly and doesn't cake or flake. i am on my second pot and will probably buy again!

I have extremely dark bluish undereye circles. I have tried almost every concealer and I have found my holy grail.
The MA told me I was a #3. I would have never picked this color out myself because it was very yellow! It completely covers my circles and makes me look wide awake. :)
It is not drying like most other concealers and is very smooth because it has avacado oil in it. A++ because it covers dark circles and doesn't cause fine lines to show up that you know are not really there!!!
