i only use this about once a week but that's all it takes to show improvment in my skin. it really digs out all the nasty crap that can give me the occasional spots. my skin is sensitive/oily/combo but this is not too harsh for me despite the strong mint ingredients; it just feels refreshing and tingly. the chunks of aduki beans take a little getting used to but once you figure out how to utilize them you're set! i put the mask on for about a half-hour until dry then i add a little water to my hands and massage the mask around my face...so it actually works as a scrub and a mask. the only downside is that it's only good for about 3 months, and the container is large so a lot of product gets wasted. i still continue to buy it though b/c of the great results.

this is a really good mask. ahhaha, the first one that i've tried. the next day, seriously my skin like glows. i've went like a week w/out it and my skin's back to normal. ie. blotchy and red. ewww. and it lasts a long time. it was supposed to expire like november 23/03. but it's still good. omg and it smells like chocolate mint icecream. drool...!

I'm not in love with this mask but I do like it. I don't think it exfoliates all that much but I like the smell and the feel of the mask. I have been storing mine in the fridge for that cool refreshing minty feeling when I use it.

I love the minty fresh feeling of this on my face, as well as the lovely chocolate-mint smell :-) Love the way my skin feels after. My only complaint is the quick expiration time - it's only good for 4-6 months, and they give you a TON, so it's difficult to use up in time... BUT my friends love the decants I give them!

I just started using Mask of Magnaminty and love it. Alot of people don't like the packaging in the tubs but I find it very convenient. The mask itself smells so yummy...like chocolate mint cookies. It is a medium thickness and I found easy to apply. As you might expect by the name it is green in color so be prepared to get some looks from your SO when you put it on. I left it on for about 15 minutes and loved the cooling feeling of it. Then I washed it off and my face felt nice and tight and refreshed. Then I followed with my moisturizer. This is one product that will become a staple in my beauty routine. I highly recommend it.

This smells like chocolate chip mint! It deep cleanses not too well but it's very gentle so I can even use it twice a week! No bumps on my acne prone skin and best of all, I leave it in the fridge for an extra cool treat on a hot humid day. It's a huge so it's totally worth it.
Magnaminty makes me look and feel like Shrek, green and lumpy outside, beautiful underneath :)

I love Mask of Magnaminty. The mint fragrance is strong and calming and it really does wonders for your face. I had a girls' night and made five of my friends try it and they were all hooked. It tightens your face and leaves a rosy glow (at least it does for me). It also makes your face extremely soft. Worth the splurge.

I really wanted to love this mask. It felt great going on *so cool and minty) and left my face looking great after I rinsed. The problem is the next day I have little pimples. I kept trying with it, hoping that the breakouts would only be temporary, but no dice. I have combination/sensitive skin (the mint did not irritate my skin at all)

This is my favor mask!!!! It does a good job on cleaning my skin. My skin feels so soft and smooth after using it. However, it is quiet strong. Those with sensitive skin may only want to use it once a week.

I really like this mask. i can see that my skin is tighter and cleaner after. I just wish there was something in it that would leave my skin bright and shiny too. The price is so cheap you can't resist. My roommates always dig into my tub but i don't mind! It's a really good product. I just plop it on before showering and scrub it off especially where i get blackheads because the product has granules.

There are a number of things wrong with this to make me not want to purchase it in the future. I find it to verrry thick. It's practically impossible to pry it out of the container and spread it on my face. I actually had to carve out the top layer of the jar to get anything spreadable. I tried to control the thickness of it going on, and thought that I did an okay job. This takes forever and a day to dry. I timed it. With even my relatively thin layer it took an hour to dry. And even then there were some slightly moist patches on my chin. The mask itself is nice, it's tingly going while it dries (the whole hour it was on!) and it smells really yummy. My skin did feel nice and hydrated and fresh, not crackly and dry when I took it off. It made my face glow. Taking it off is another adventure, I have to hop into the shower with this and let the water pry it off, because taking it off myself would be near impossible it's so tenacious. All in all, it's not bad, but it's not great either. Maybe I ended up with an older batch, maybe it's not supposed to be so thick. I may buy this again once more, or at least take a good look at in the store before I decide to purchase again. I still have most of the tub left, if I change my mind about it, I'll amend the review.

I was really impressed with this product, it has a really good effect on my sensitive combination skin, I use it once or twice a week to give my face a really deep cleansing, toning and exfoliating and my skin has been left so wonderfully clean. My skin was clean, soft and glowing. I love this product, it's great value for money as you get a huge tub of it. I will definitely repurchase.

I'm truly impressed with this mask! It is very refreshing (thanks to all that mint) and feels very cool on the skin when it's first applied. Even though it's minty, I don't find it overbearing. It's relaxing for the face and upper body and kind of wakes up the mind too. The first time I used it, I tried to rinse it off in the sink, BIG MISTAKE! I had a mess everywhere, visual green mask all over the counter, mirror, floor, you get the idea...Now I use it on Sat/Sun mornings before my shower. I drink my coffee while it's drying (WARNING: Not a fast drying mask) and watch some telly. I hop in the shower and rinse it off there. AAAAHHHH, much easier to rinse off and wash down the drain. My skin is soft, clean and well prepared for a light moisturizer and makeup. I believe my makeup actually lasts longer when I use this. I don't think the price is horrible considering how long one tub of this lasts. I use it once a week (sometimes 2x if it's been a week from...) and a tub lasts me months. I agree Astara is better, but I'm not willing to drop that kind of money on a mask treatment that doesn't last long. But for the average price per use, this one gets my vote and hasn't done any damage to my skin. If you have super sensitive skin, this isn't for you because of the strong mint. I have sensitive skin, but this doesn't seem to bother it. My chest & back don't break out near as much anymore from my workouts either since I've been using this. That's something I wouldn't do with a $50 mask!
Edited to add: Great things to do with this so you can use it all up (even though mine lasted MUCH longer than it's stated expiration date): Foot Mask, your feet get a treat especially during the summer months and smell great too. Hand Mask: Why keep your feet and face touchable? Elbows & Knees - excellent for removing the roughness, but you have to be able to sit still for awhile which is very hard for me!

Magnaminty is an understatement. It's minty beyond belief. If you like that cooling menthol sensation and smell, you'll LOVE this product. It's an excellent value considering how many treatments I got from it. I used it once a week and while it certainly can't claim any miracles, it left my skin feeling smooth and healthy and truly revitalized. It's a great product to use after you come home from a lousy day at work and before you go out for the evening. Another key reason I endorse this mask is for a very simple reason...it doesn't leave you skin feeling stripped or tight or shiny. It just feels healthy...almost like a dose of pure oxygen. If I had any complaints, it would be this: once dried, the product is a little difficult to remove from the skin. A washcloth proved to be the best aid, but the strong pigments in the mask turned it green. Nothing a little Oxy-Clean didn't solve, but be forewarned.

I like this mask - don't absolutely LOVE it, but like it. For a cheap mask it works great - exfoliates and refreshes. One of my only complaints is that it starts to itch upon hardening (tho this may be just me) which is sometimes unbearable and sends me running to the sink to rinse. My favorite for masks is Astara but the price makes me gasp!
Edited to add: I am still on my first tub of this. It has really grown on me. My skin feels great after using it. The itching experienced in the beginning no longer occurs. A great mask.

I love this mask, thick and green and that interesting minty smell. Left my skin feeling toned and my pores tighter. I used it about once a week. I wish I still lived in Europe so I could buy it more frequently, but I wouldn't pay the shipping to buy it here in the US.

I got a sample of this in a swap and I love it! It left my skin feeling good - not icky or covered with "residue." After a while, I did find that it seemed to dry out, so I just added a little water to the jar and it works fine again now!

This mask smells smells really nice, like mint coffee. You get a lot of product in the jar too. It didn't break out my sensitive skin and it has a nice minty feel when it's on. I just don't think it did a lot for my skin.

I've been using this mask for years. However, I am pretty sure that within the past year Lush has reformulated something. I find that it does not last nearly as long as it used to. The oils (don't get scared, these are good for problem skin oils like peppermint and evening primrose) which keep it moist and easy to apply seem to dry out within a month and what oils are left seem to go partially rancid. That being said, it's a fabulous mask for almost every skin type aside from very dry or sensitive. Fresh from Lush it smells like a mixture of honey, mint and lavender and after it dries it works great as an exfoliant scrub. Definately check this one out... just be sure to use it up quickly.
