I just picked this up today, it is so pretty! It's perfect for creating the smokey eye look. It's black with a dark pinkish/purlpe shimmer. It looks amazing as a liner and in the crease.

Love this colour for lining, however I do not like it as a shadow. Want to see more of the burgundy shimmer come through!

Very dissapointed w/ this color from MAC! I almost fell over when I saw it in the container, it's SOOOO beautiful in the container. It looked like a muted black w/ very sparkly burgundy flecks. I bought it w/ out a second thought. When I used it @ home however, it looked completely different. Went on like a deep gray color, which I already have about 15 gray, smokey colors. So, I returned it. The SA told me that he had heard that complaint about the same e/s more than once. If only it went on the color in the container it would be my FAVE color. But it just looked gray, not even a pretty gray, just BLAH! :(

The color doesn't go on at all how it looks -- but still a nice color -- a "sooty" gray-blackish color. I was hoping for more of purple to show up.

Perfect shadow for lining! I much prefer this to any of my Nars shadows, it has the intensity, and it's perfect for smokey sexy eyes. Just beautiful!

This is so lovely when used lightly in the creases. It is a beautiful smoky color with burgundy glitter. But when used wet..that is the real gem!! It becomes this sparkly burgundy eggplant shade!! Really gorgeous!

this is a nice eyeshadow, a blackish colour with a red hint. very nice as a liner or to make for the "smokey eyed" look

I personally am not impressed by these. These are satin black e/s infused with glitters. This one is a red/bronze glitter. Though I must admit that this is much better than the 'Night e/s from Nars', they're still black e/s to me. The colour impact of these ones are pretty evident so I was at least impressed with that.
