I recently bought this to cover red spot scars, blemishes and pimples. The lovely and helpful SA at the Laura Mercier counter in Selfridges, Trafford Centre, Manchester (UK) tried it on me after I asked about it for concealing spots on my oily skin. She deftly applied SC2 after matching it to my skin and when she was done I was sold! I have had just as equally impressive results applying it myself with my own concealer brush. It was £25 and although this exceeds what I have ever paid for a concealer this is well worth it and it will last a very long time (you need very little product and the 2 pans are generous sizes). The mirror is great too and I love the sparkly maroon packaging!
This product makes me look almost back to me pre-spot nightmare days - its blends easily and covers EVERYTHING! It does not cake, it does not dry out and my oily skin seems to love it. I dust a lighter layer of mineral foundation on top (I used to have to use more) and some matifying powder and I am done. My next LM purchase will have to be the Pressed Translucent Finishing Powder! Great product and I will have to buy again and again.

I hate this stuff! It cakes so much, does not have any lasting power even with or without powder, color match is horrible for medium yellow skintones! (shade SC-5). It worked a better for me when it melted (by accident) but i wouldn't want to do that to my concealer everyday! The only pro about this product is that there's so much product, a little does go a long way!

This is a pretty good concealer- the colors are a good match and of course you can easily mix. I do wish there was some sort of shallow mixing well, because I always just end up sacrificing a corner of the larger pan for my mixed color. Also the packaging is a little too big to be practical for travel/on the go. That said the formula is decent, it stays put and it doesn't crease or grease off.

I bought this on the advice of the MUA. He said it would help with the redness in my cheeks and on my face. He did state it was too dry for under the eye...and recommended I use it with the powder brush. I have been using it for a few days, and it is okay. I like the concept, but it is sooo drying! I moisturized, and applied before I used my powder foundation. I found it showed up on my skin almost flakey. That was before the powder! I will give it a few more days, add more moisture and see what happens. Will not repurchase.

I am not very keen on this product. It is quite messy as it takes time to mix the two colours to get the perfect shade for my complexion. The consistency allows to cover imperfections (not 100%), but this does not a great job (not any better than a Bobbi Brown creamy concealer). Even if I stored it in its box and closed the product after every use it dried after a couple of months. Would not repurchase.

I love this concealer and it is perfect for those dark under circles or even red spots. The only complaint I have is sometimes the formula seems dry and trust me I use moisturizer.

This is my HG concealer, I use it for everything, blemishes, redness, undereyes. I use the lighter side for the undereye and do a triangular shape to the outer side of my cheeks.
I then apply the darker side to any blemishes or redness I have and also to cover up larger pores which I can still see after I apply my foundation. I am currently on my 2nd set and love it so much. It just dissolves, and blends well into your skin and it has a good staying power too. I touch up maybe after 6-8 hours? Which is pretty good for me. I then set it with MAC's blot powder. I gave this a 5/5 for overall rating, though wish it wasn't as expensive here in the UK :(
For reference : NC10-NC20 = SC2 (for me, personally)
Hope this helps someone.

This is the only concealer I have ever found that covers dark circles completely and does NOT look cakey at all!! I love this - Can't believe I waited so long to try it!
The yellow side (in #2) helps cancel out any redness from a pimple, and the other side blends it in to help match my skin color. I think Mercier's best two products are the Translucent Loose powder and the Secret Camouflage (and that's saying a lot, since I LOVE the powder!).
Will definitely buy again!
Oh, one kinda irritating point: I really wish it had come with a brush or other type of applicator! But that's certainly not a big enough flaw to keep me from buying it again!

This is the HG of concealers. The compact contains 2 shades so you can blend for the perfect shade, and the coverage is fantastic - seriously, it'll cover anything. The formula is oil-free and contains witch-hazel, so it's great for covering blemishes, and I find that it actually helps to dry them out. (I wouldn't use it under the eyes though, as it's too drying and the witch hazel might be irritating. Laura Mercier has a separate under eye concealer, the Secret Concealer, which is much richer and more emollient to suit delicate skin under the eyes. If you want both, LM also do an Undercover Pot - 1 of each + a brightening powder - downside is you can't mix the shades because they're different formulas, but good to use on the go.)
You need a good concealer brush to apply this - because it requires blending, your fingers won't really cut it. To avoid contamination, I use the other end of the brush to scrape out a bit of each shade and blend it on a small area on the back of my hand. This way also saves too much ending up on the brush. A little bit goes a long way, so use it sparingly and this'll last you ages.

I've had a lot of people approach me when I'm wearing this and ask me what I use to get such great skin. Seriously. I don't use it everyday, because you have to take your time applying this, but it looks great when I do. I like the fact that you can mix your exact shade, and although some dislike the texture, I'm not really bothered. I scrape a little off onto the back of my hand so it will soften for easier mixing. I've used it under my eyes a handful of times, but I don't make a habit of it since this is for the face only; the sunscreen in it has potential to irritate that area. The staying power is alright, it needs to be set with a good powder. I've found that without a good setting powder it can come off a bit in my t-zone. I think it's a decent buy, enough to make me consider trying the undereye concealer from LM.
