yes, the packaging sucks for this product, but you cant deny that sin is gorgeous!!! not only does it keep my eyeshadow from creasing/fading ALL DAY, but it adds a bit of sheen to whatever shadow i wear, which makes it "pop" in a subtle way that is just really pretty. sometimes i wear it alone with no shadow for a low maintenance, slightly shimmery eye, and i love that look too!

I'm kinda obsessed with Urban Decay now because of this product. Just bought this for the first time a couple of months ago and I've been using it pretty much everyday. Love this! It keeps my shadows in place all day with no creasing on my very oily lids. Sometimes I use it alone as cream shadow, as I love the light natural color all on it's own as well. I haven't tried the original formula. The packaging is absolutely adorable, although I can see that I'll eventually have some trouble getting all of the product out of the container. Overall, excellent product!

What was I thinking? I should have known better and should have bought the original formula -- this is just way too glittery for me. I had hopes of it just adding a gleam to my eye area, giving me that "just rested" look, but it's just too glittery, even underneath shadow. However, I'm giving it five lippies in the overall rating because it does a great job of keeping my shadow looking fresh and keeping it from creasing. I normally use MAC Painterly Paint Pot. I don't think the UD does a better job, but it's another great eye primer option. This is one of those products that works great but just isn't what I was hoping for. Next time, I'll get the original formula. Another plus about this product for me is that I never use the applicator to apply it -- I pull the applicator far enough out of the tube to pick up product off the shaft with a brush and apply it that way. I bought the small size, but it will last forever because it doesn't take much product to get the job done.

I got a sample size of this from a seller. I haven't tried the original formula or the eden one yet so this is my first primer potion. I do like it a lot, much better than MAC's soft ochre which I have always been using as my eye primer. Sin is easier to apply than soft ochre because the texture is more liquidy and easier to blend and doesn't tug at my eyelids. The lasting power of sin is also better than soft ochre, my eyeshadow and eyeliner didn't crease at all after 12 hours of wear wheras soft ochre will start creasing after 10 hours of wear. I also like that it is a champagne color thus providing a soft glow to my eyeshadows that is not overpowering or shimmery.
5 stars for this product! Will purchase the full size once I'm done with the sample.

UD Sin is an excellent eyeshadow primer. It's formula works just as well as the original but has a gorgeous gold shimmer to it. It's the perfect primer for a dressed up look, but I don't use it on a day-to-day basis. Overall, I highly recommend it & will repurchase it when mine runs out.

I have the original formula and the Eden formula and I love them both. this one does have the same lasting power as the other two but is way too shimmery for my preference. I will not buy this again.

I'm a big fan of the regular primer potion, so I thought I'd give the Sin color a shot. The color is very nice and brightens my eyes, but the staying power isn't half as good as the regular. The texture is more "liquidy" and creases, and my eyeshadow/liner starts to travel after half a day. Stick with the regular and get the Sin eyeshadow if you like the color.

Pros: Smooth consistancy, blends well, good primer
Cons: Awkward wand, color doesn't work for me
UDPP in Sin is a beautiful sandy/champagne shimmer color, less pink-toned than the original eyeshadow from UD. It looks decent on it's own, but doesn't really compliment my asian skintone because the silvery cast makes my eyelids look dry and wrinkley; not the dewy look I was originally expecting. The color is also not very versatile under eyeshadows since it only looks good as a base for neutral or shimmery shades. Though it do its job as a primer, the color just doesnt work for my skin tone. I would reccomend the original UDPP unless your planning to use this by itself or as a base for a shimmery eye look.

FInally!! they changed the wand!!!! :) how much easier to get the product out of the container!! I have very very dry skin and i do prefer cream products. i loved the eyeshadow powder in sin but the fall outs made my life miserable. But now everything is sorted! I have the best long lasting eyeshadow in the world!!! I use it just on my lid, i want to avoid of the disco ball effect, And underneath i use Laura Mercier's base in Wheat.. bulletproof combo:))))
