This lipstick is amazing - so smooth, so soft, and excellent colors! I may even like these better than my MAC lipsticks!

I bought three colors of this line....and I just can say...
Black Label Lip Stick is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!
When I apply it on my lips, I feel it's smooth and moisturizing!!!
No pull or tug and no wierd taste or smell!!!
Most of all, the pigmentation is unbelievable!!
It can show the exactly same shade on my lips as the shade of lipstick itself.
It's the product I will definitely purchase again and again.

I have few negatives to say about Black Label lipstick. I bought "Citrus" a bright coral red, not a color I'd normally be attracted to but I was looking for a shade that came sort of close to my favorite discontinued Prescriptives sheer color "Maraschino". The only negative is that Maraschino has SPF 15, Citrus does not. Otherwise Citrus is brighter, creamier and lusher and blows Maraschino away. With my PPP complexion my lips are vibrant, full and luscious. I bought this at my local Harmon drug, used my 20% off Bed Bath and Beyond coupon and paid a bit over $4 dollars. I am a convert. These are creamier and longer lasting than any I have worn by Chanel and possibly YSL. Other than having no suncreen my only peeve with NYX is that they have no tester units. It is awkward to buy any color based on the swatch implanted in the tube alone. With Black Label the swatch is accurate and in the case of Citrus, the actual product is so much nicer. I will be buying many more of this line. Give it a try.

Having tried 27/96 of these, I feel I can safely say they're a great product. Randomly buying shades online has resulted in an excellent sampling of really pretty shades: cremes and shimmers, metallics, nudes, reds, pinks, more out-there colors, pale shades...considering that I've barely scratched the surface of shades available, there should be something for everyone in this line. The colors are all full-strength, yet aren't terribly drying (although the shimmer shades are more so). The formula is supposedly lead-free, which is probably a good thing. They have a light grape scent that basically disappears on the lips. The packaging is a beautiful black lace-patterned black sparkly rounded-off square tube with a "sample" of the color encased in plastic at the base. I'm done with my random shade buying spree, at least for now, so here are shade descriptions of my favorites:

Diva - mauve-nude with a hint of silver shimmer, perfect nude shade
Acapulco - light-medium neutral bubblegum pink creme
Bling - light-medium pinky nude creme with a bit of peach
Midnight Dinner - muted medium-deep pinky-red creme

At US$7 @ nyxcosmetics.com a pop it's hard to go wrong with these. I was always a l/g girl before, but these have converted me!

I'm a fan of these lippies! The packaging is nicer than that for the NYX round lipsticks, and the product formula is more moisturizing and feels great on the lips. There is a very faint fruity smell when you take off the lid, but it disappears so quickly that I don't even notice the scent during application. The lipstick has no other fragrances or flavors, which is fantastic because I can't tolerate lipsticks with a 'waxy' or perfumey scent. The $7 price tag does make these less of a bargain than the 99 cent round lipsticks, so I won't buy them as freely, but I really like the extra moisture. The one thing I don't like is that the color representations online are quite inaccurate, so unless you have access to a brick and mortar store with a good selection, color selection may be something of a craps shoot.

The 2 colors I bought are Dusty Rose (creamy, medium pink edging towards mauve) and Dream of Africa (metallic copper). Dusty Rose is a more muted color that will be good for days when I'd rather play up my eyes. Dream of Africa looks intense in the tube but is very wearable if applied in a few light layers, leaving a coppery shimmer on the lips.

I want to try this Black Label Lipstick to see why NYX would charge more compare to the other lipsticks they have. The Black Label lipstick has NO Lead!!! Which is great if you don't like lead in your cosmetics. I think even a small percentage of lead is bad. I was surprise that a cheap brand was able to make a NO Lead lipstick while other brands in expensive dept store or even drugstores still sell Lead in the cosmetics, that is so backwards and they hate people.

The stores around my area where I am at don't have the Black Label Lipstick. The walk in stores just have the cheapest lipsticks from NYX. So I have to order this online. The lipstick was packaged in a paper box with "Lead Free" on it and inside a the lipstick has a lace design on the case. I got the color Nutmeg. A medium wine-brown color in the tube. When I tried it on my lips it looks like a wine-brown with a hint of yellow tint. I tried it on light, one layer and later a two layers of it.

On the light layer try out, put lipstick on lower lips and then press lips together. My lips feel dry but not dry, the look of the lipstick was a matte look. My lips did NOT crack apart. On the two layer tryout, putting lipstick on both upper and lower lips, the lipstick gave a fruity smell and it feel moist.

Over all the product did what it was suppose to do it gave a "creamy, velvety texture, and is silky smooth and moisturizing". However I am not a big fan of Nutmeg the color.
