If you are just looking for a moisturizer, then it's an ok product. Even though I don't see a reason to spend so much money on just a simple moisturizer. I does nothing but moisturizes.

I got a sample of this and used it for about two weeks. It's a lame excuse for a moisturizer, and is wayy too expensive. I would never ever buy a product this expensive, especially one that does nothing for your skin at all.

I received this as a gift from my SA, not really knowing how high end it was. It is not particularly moisturizing, and sort of sits atop your skin (even well cleaned and prepped skin) rather than being absorbed. Not good under makeup. It is too light for me, as I am in a very dry climate with dry peri-menopausal skin.
I think this product might be redundant for me, as I do regular manual exfoliating, as well as using 1% Retinoid 3x week. Still, the EGF concept makes me very interested! I will use this more regularly and check back in a few weeks.

I have been using this cream for the past three and 1/2 weeks both am and pm, and so far, i am loving it. Because this is a very expensive cream, i bought a .5oz sample jar from ebay and i have just bought the full size because i love it so much. I really think that this is a really under rated cream like one poster says. I have seen a huge difference in my skin; no more redness on my cheeks, there's glow to my face( not oily though), just a beautiful glow, the wrinkles on my nose reduced just by tiny bit, i don't think there's cream that can get rid of wrinkle anyways, and my skin is more even and smooth. I have used Creme De La Mer and it is nothing compare to this cream. However, you should really avoid putting this close to the eye area. This contains AHA, and it can be too rough to put it there. Besides, it stings my eyes when i put close to it. Also if you rub it too much when applying to the skin, you will get little white worm-like product on you face and fingers (I believe they call it "pill", correct me if i am wrong). The instructions say to use twice a day for one week and then alternate with another face cream. I e-mailed the company and they said this could be used twice a day permanently if you prefer, just be aware that it will interfere with you makeup application during the day. If you don't wear liquid foundations, and just powder, i think you can definitely wear this am and pm. Just make sure you wear a sunscreen over it. Compare to other high end brands, this cream actually priced very fairly and it also works.

This is a very nice moisturizer. It has a great consistency and leaves my skin feeling moisturized but not greasy or too dry after and hour. My skin also feels very soft. I dont think you need to spend so much money on a cream however. I think you could get similar results with Avon Anew Rextexturizing Peel and Avalon Organics CoQ10 Wrinkle Defense Cream.

While im sure that this product contains lots of things that are renewing the cells in my skin, improving texture, smoothness, etc....
It is the only new product i've introduced into my skin-care regime and Im finding my face to be really itchy lately, mostly on my forehead above my eyebrows (where a bunch of tiny bumps have formed) and on my jawline.
Im going to reduce the number of nights a week I use this product.

AMAZING after just 2 Weeks of use. I started using the entire line 2 weeks ago today- when I started my skin was oily, with plenty of acne and just utterly gross. I had broken out pretty badly from Perricone products which I had to discontinue. Honestly my skin has never looked better. All of the pimples have disappeared with the exception of a few red marks that are vanishing quickly. I no longer need to blot my oily skin constantly and my skin is smooth. The first week was a bit rough as I was just so broken out. Now after 2 full weeks of use (cleanser, toner, MRC, and eye renewal at night, Sensitif and eye renewal in am) I can't believe how amazing my skin looks. I honestly don't care for smell, packaging, price- I only care that it works and this entire line is well worth the price tag. I will continue using and keep you posted. If you are on the fence I would recommend giving it a try. Please give it 2 weeks though before you make any decision.

Can't say I dislike the product as I only tried a small sample of this. Can't get past the smell though...I've used some crazy smelling things like vinegar on my face, but I can't get past the smell of this cream. It's a cross between burning plastic and chemicals...

This product is truly amazing! I used it in combination with the Sensitif Day Cream and the Protectif serum. The results in one month were phenomenal. The ONLY reason I halted the use of all of these products is because I am only 24 years old, and with the exception of a couple freckles, my skin doesn't demand aggressive anti-aging treatments; I felt like I was overextending myself just a bit. I did, however, notice a difference in my skin's texture when I stopped using Revive. All in all, this line is at the top of my list of the most beautiful, active, results-oriented products on the market. I gave the products to my parents in the meantime, but when I'm 30 I'll be repurchasing Revive's products.

OK. This cream is too strong for young skin. It faded my acne scars in the first few weeks, then it stopped working and gave me pimples everywhere (especially around the chin and side of cheeks). I think it's because of too much exfoliating effect, too much skin renewal stimulation causing more dead cells resulting in blocked pores. Good thing I bought this from Ebay. Ah well, at least I learned my lesson and now I know what is and what isn't good for my skin type!

This product is nice. It make my skin feel soft when I woke up in the morning and it wasn't too light or too greasy. I can't say it has made a big improvement to the actual texture of my skin, I have some uneven texture to my skin as i still have some very subtle scarring from my acne days. I still felt the need to exfoliate 2 or 3 times a week, and considering this product contains glycolic acid, it's supposed to be an exfoliating and re-texturising moisturiser. Bascially I don't think this product is worth the price tag. In Australia it retails for $355. I also really hate jar packaged moisturisers because I hate sticking my fingers into a product and also don't like the fact that the product is exposed to the air. I wouldn't re-purchase as it is far too much money for far too little result.

All and all this is a very good product. When I was using this I loved how soft my face felt and the glowyness I experienced from it. It made my face very smooth but almost in a raw kind of way, however I didnt experience any sensitivity from this product which is good. I also have the intense creme lustre which I find is more moisturizing. I am not using either anymore because I've started using retin-a micro which Ive found gives me better results and has clinically proven anti-aging benefits. I would use both thats too much exfoiliation for my skin... Good product though! Would recommend if your skin cannot tolerate retin-a.
edit 10/25/2009: I cut down on the retin-a to 3-4 times a week and Im back to using this on off days. This is an excellent product. I find myself having to stop myself from touching my face when I use this because it makes my skin so incredibly soft and smooth. I really should make this 5* (I reserve all 5* rating for HG). I'll update the rating in a couple of months of I still think its worthy of HG status.

I'm very impressed by this cream despite the price. I know that I've been only using it for 3 weeks now and will definitely give an update when I've used it longer. As I hate when people give a premature review when they've only used the product less than a month and now I'm one of those people! : ) But I can't help it, it's so good! I had a yucky acne cyst on my cheek (my fault, too much sweet foods of late) and I was devastated and in a panic because they leave such horrible scars on my face and take so long to heal, if you call what it does on my face healing! And I just started using this cream and by golly wouldn't you know it that cyst went down so fast!! That has NEVER happened before, ever!!! (That cyst would normally have gone on for weeks and leave a horrible scar as I'm brown skinned and don't heal nicely.) I believe it's the combination of the EGF giving a FAST cell renewal turnover in combination with the 8% glycolic acid (a quadruple whammy!). So so far I'm sold. As I've never used active exfoliating products before, I did notice after about a 1.5 weeks that I got a little dime sized rash just below my lip. So I backed off for a couple of days so the rash could go away (I e-mailed Revive and they explained what I suspected that I'm not used to the actives and to slow it down a bit) and restarted it every other day. Now I've just started back every night and I'll see how my skin reacts. What I also like about this cream is that the texture is very emollient yet not oily or cloggy, but like it's full of hydration. Also a little goes a long way, it spreads very easily. And when I put it on I can feel the actives working under my skin. It feels like a tight warmth underneath my skin. Whereas I've tried Paula Begoun's 8% glycolic lotion and it felt like an itch on top of my skin which I didn't like. I much rather the way my skin responds to the actives in this cream and also to Dr. Denese Triple Strength Wrinkle Smoother Cream (which I also just tried for the first time and has peptides and retinol). And I LOVE the healing and cell renewal properties in this amazing MRC cream. Time will tell and I will definitely give an update.

I seem to have good luck with this line. My only complaint is the high price, but I think my skin is telling me to keep buying products from this line, because they definitely work on me. This cream is wonderful. I've only used my samples so far, but I will be buying a full size jar come the fall (when Barneys has their beauty bag offer again). I've been using this only at night. It has caused no break outs or stinging on me, but my skin does not tend to be acne prone or particularly sensitive. After only a few days of use, I woke up one morning and looked in the mirror, and my skin looked noticeably better. It just GLOWED. Since I've been using it for less then two weeks, I can only imagine that the results will be even more impressive with time. I can stop looking for my HG night cream!

Absolutely fabulous. This cream makes my skin so soft and smooth. The glycolic acid really does help to exfoliate and retexture the skin. Please give this product 2-4 weeks to work. yes it is expensive but i will never be without my ReVive moisturizing renewal cream. For fresh looking and tight glowing skin this is your product. When you start to use this product it will sting for the first few weeks when first applied but this does stop after a few moments, this is due to the high glycolic acid content.

I almost returned this cream because the first two weeks I used it, my face broke out in angry, cystic acne. When my skin started to get better when I stopped using the cream, I went back to Saks to return the MRC. The saleswoman was so surprised that anyone would want to return the MRC, and asked how often I was using the cream and what kind of skin I had. At that point in time, I was using the MRC every night, and I have oily, acne prone skin. She recommended that I try using the MRC only 2-3 times a week and only at night. She explained to me that the cream was probably bringing out all the impurities in my skin more quickly than usual due to the EGF in the cream. Basically, all the underground acne that was biding its time beneath the surface, was making its early debut thanks to my daily MRC application.
I now use the MRC about 3-4 times a week at night, and am very very happy to report that my skin is now virtually acne free (sadly there's nothing I can do to prevent the monthly surge of hormones from causing a little disorder on my face) and I feel like my face definitely has the Revive "glow." When I wake up in the morning, my face isn't even very oily!
For anyone who is considering purchasing this cream, I would definitely recommend that you speak with someone at the Revive counter who is knowledgeable about the product as well as its effects on various skin types. My first two weeks using the MRC were hellish mainly because I didn't know how it should be used. The MRC is pricey, but totally worth it!

I've been using Moisturizing Renewal Cream since December 2008 and WOW! I am in my 50's and was considering using botox, but was really nervous... my daughter bought me a complete regimen of Re Vive and I can't believe the difference. The first week I was nervous because I broke out a tiny bit and am not prone to breakouts, however, I was reassured by their customer service that this is normal for those of us not used to such active ingredients. Glad I stuck it out! My friends and even strangers are complimenting me on my glowing skin now! And it has completely fixed my dehydration problems. I'm not one to write reviews, but had to when I saw this cute little blog. The regimen I use: Cleanser, Toner, Volumizing Serum, Sensitif Cellular Repair (AM), Moist Renewal Cream (PM), Intensite Les Yeux (eyes) and I LOVE the Microdermabrasion System!! The Microderm is WELL worth the price. The results are instant. I'd pay more for it, honestly. I'm tempted to try Peau Magnifique (if I can save up). Anyone tried it yet?
And I have to disagree with those who say you can get the same for less- after speaking with the associates I found out that ReVive is the only skincare line with a patent for some of their ingredeients which means they're the only ones who use them. Yes, it's expensive, but it's worth the price if I see results. Plus, the jars last for 5-6 months easily. Anyway, I'll post more after I try more products!

I love this product, however I can only use it at night. On my skin this cream has an intense exfoliating effect.....the dead skin seems to peel off within hours. Nevertheless, once the peeling effect has taken place radiant and poreless skin is revealed beneath. I also love this cream because it is essentially a bargain at $165 for a 2 oz jar. Other high end skin care lines are charging over $300 for 1.7 ounces (Guerlain), over $600 for 1.7 ounces (Kanebo), and over $200 for 1.7 ounces (Natura Bisse). If having beautiful skin was cheap everyone would be doing it!! But I cannot see paying $200 to $600 for a 1.7 ounce jar of cream. Revive at $165 provides excellent results and I will continue to purchase this product without fail.

I think this is my favorite Revive Product. It is the most rich and moisturizing creme I have ever used. However i give it 3 stars because the price is just too high. There are too many products out there that can do this for a lot less.
