A nicely crafted, well-mannered rose-fragrance. Light and exhilerating - if you're into roses. Nevertheless, I prefer Tea-Rose by The Perfumers Workshop. A bit too expensive, since it's nor very creative. Nice packaging, though.

I live in a humid country and love light scents. I usually go for fruity scents, this is the first time a floral scent as caught me.
Paul Smith's Rose is light and feminine. It gives a very girlish, young, feeling. The packaging is a bit plain, but it works well.
I also love the shower gel which I use at night. I can still smell it when I wake up in the morning. Very nice.

When I first read about this modern take on a rose perfume, I became excited. What this is, ladies, is Stella mixed with Pleasures. As we know, Stella is primarily Rose, Peony, and Amber. Pleasures is Peony, Rose, Violet, and musk. If I had to say which one it reminds me of most, it would be Pleasures. I am a rose lover and don't pick up on much rose. However, this fragrance does have one thing that Stella and Pleasures can't touch, and that's the accord of MAGNOLIA in it! I live in the south and the sweet/heady/green smell of mag permeates the outdoors in the summertime. This is surely a spring/summertime fragrance. It is certainly a crowd pleaser with no surprising exotic or spicy notes that might offend. As a woman of 27 I think it would be just fine to wear on a daily basis. I gave this a 4/5 because I AM a rose lover, and peony dominates this airy, lighthearted parfum. The bottle is lovely and quite weighty with a cute little art noveau cap.

I don't have it yet, but Oh..I long for it!
Paul Smith always intrigues me. A couple of years ago, I stumbled accross " London" when I actually move to the city of the same name and fell in love with it.Everywhere I went wearing it, men were just drooling commenting on the sexy scent! I always make sure to have a brand new bottle spared before starting a new one! And I will stock up more before they discontinue it!And don't get me stared on the body lotion and how yummy it smells!
Anyhow, I'm currently travelling , and on my way to Tangs in Singapore, one of the sample ladies stopped me to try this "Rose" : OMG was my reaction!
I can't really describe what it is , but I am now officially obsessed with this fragrance. the only resason I didn't buy it on the spot was the stiff price- but I know I can find it for less somewhere else in Singapore, and will before I leave!
This was 3 days ago, and everyday I make sure to stop at my nearest Sasa to douze myself in it, so I can sniff it on me all day long.
I am in love.I know in my guts this will be another ESSENTIAL for me, so yes, Rose is an exciting, very unique fragrance, that will make you fall in love. it is not a discreet fragrance, and i think can only be worn by the woman who's very self confident! Definitely HG status for me like London Or Jaipur. It's one of these scent that lingers long after you're gone, make people remember you, and will actract compliments! So go and sniff it !
EDIT: Finally bought it, and for cheap too, a mere $30 for 50 ml.and also, snapped up a 30 ml for $15! Doing happy dance! I will smell good for a long time!

I personally love rose fragrances, I did not try or sniff and went ahead to purchase a bottle. It is fresh, airy and I love the middle note of magnolia, can't help sniffing myself all day =) A quite unique fragrance. I love it, I bought the 50ml size that came with a little drawstring pouch.

Gorgeous! I love this perfume and it is definitely going to be a staple of mine, along with Estee Lauder Pleasures. It has the wonderful smell of roses, but it is not overpowering or too "in your face" flowery. Makes me feel snuggly and sexy at the same time! Oh, and the scent lingers on you all day too :)

A wonderful rose and green tea scent that is quite similar to Hermes Rose Ikebana. A fresh dew kissed rose- the kind that you just want to burry your nose into. This would be suitable to be worn in any type of weather as it is so light and refreshing, although not fleeting at all. The staying power was surprisingly good and the scent stayed true to the initial freshness. A lovely interpretation of the rose.

I received a sample of this perfume and I was quite surprized I liked it. I'm not fond of true floral fragrances but this one smells really different and nice to me.
Antoine Maisondieu, the perfumer who worked with Paul on its creation explains: “I wanted to combine an airy quality with a soft, velvety feeling on the skin. I blended Paul Smith ScentTrek with Turkish rose oil and green tea, adding a sparking halo of violet and magnolia flowers. A woody accord, with touches of clear cedar, provides depth and structure, which along with soft musks, give it an addictive quality.” It definitely smells like roses, but not in an offensive way. The woody and soft musk notes make this scent really unique. As it says on the Paul Smith website (www.paulsmith.co.uk): fresh and individual, modern and memorable. Highly recommended! BTW I'm not sure though if this perfume is available outside the UK and other European countries.
