I found this as part of a sample quad, used it up, and bought it by itself. This is a Matte gray-brown - no hint of red here.
I'm usually a big fan of MAC eyeshadows but I really like how soft this one applied. It's a great texture, not chalky but soft, with plenty of color. I use Urban Decay Primer Potion so staying power isn't a big problem for me, but MAC does seem vibrant for a little longer.
With a color like Mochaccino, I'm not too concerned with vibrancy. I use it as a neutral crease color for those days I want a natural-ish, pulled-together, sophisticated look. I've used MAC's Soba or Cork to define my somewhat-shallow crease but I think Mochaccino works better because it's an ashier brown that looks more like a natural shadow on a face.
I love this shadow and consider it a perfect neutral. Would and have repurchased. Though it's a little expensive, these last at least a year. Anyway, if I'm using it every day around my eye area, I'm not going to begrudge the $10 more than I might've spent at a drug store. This is really pretty as a medium crease color with MAC's Shroom on the lid and browbone, and maybe a slightly darker crease color applied on the outer half. I prefer this packaging to MAC's - it's light but feels substantial in your palm, and I love that you can slide it open with a thumb - you don't need to use two hands! This doesn't seem important, but I hate having to put the brush down in case I shut the lid without thinking.

I love this..I wear this almost everday with my Waif and Latte...doesn't cost as much as my Chanel e/s so I don't feel as guilty using it everyday! Will definitely repurchase!

What a great brown! Mochaccino is a medium brown with some grey, no sparkles, long lasting, great pigmentation. I believe this is the brown used in most of the Lancome looks in the advertisings. Great with Positive all over the eyes and Mochaccino on the crease. Also, looks amazing with Fillgree for a night out with black/brown eyeliner. These three colors are amazing on brown eyes and very sophisticated and elegant! Very suitable for work also. I have light yellow skin tone and it suits me very well. Please check the Lancome website under Lancome looks to view this brown applied in different looks. I also use it to fill my brows. The only thing I don't like is the packaging and that it does not come with a sponge applicator.
