So far I like this product. I recently fried 18 inches of my dyed black hair by trying to go platinum blonde. (I know that's a horrible idea, you don't need to say anything.) Well nothing makes it super super soft. This does. It makes my hair super shiny and clean feeling. Exceeeept...at the ends. My ends feel so crunchy. They did before too, but never as high up as this did. I was using suave professionals humectant shampoo which for 2 dollars, did an amazing job of moisturizing my hair. I'm wondering if it wasn't crunchy because she didn't leave the conditioner on my hair long enough because I know I can manage it without it feeling like that. She also did a crappy job of blowdrying it. Another side note is that when I fried my hair, I stripped the natural curl from my hair. With a bit of blowdrying my curl was back in no time. I think people are having issues with this product because you are only supposed to use a little bit of it. That is what my hairdresser told me. She said that people who say it doesn't work tend to use too much because they're used to having to use a lot because the lower level brands don't work as well. She also gave me a leave in cream, it's called "blowdown" I believe, which gave even more of a shine to it. This stuff is also supposed to be good for humidity, but my hair tends to poof. I'm going to reuse this in the morning and leave the conditioner on a little longer then blowdry my own hair and see what kind of difference that makes. I hope it's good because I paid a lot for these products!

I have a professional membership with a beauty supply wholesaler and have tried so many of their shampoo & cream rinses but always come back to this one. I have 3 teenage daughters too who also feel the same, there are a lot of nice products out there but this one is the most moisturizing in my opinion and you're left with great shine! Two thumbs up!

Oh my god!!! I love love love this shampoo & conditioner!!! It makes my waves easier to manage. My hair is softer, smoother, and healthier. It just keeps getting better & better after each wash!!!! I would definetly recommend this to anyone and will be repurchasing!! :)

I have been using this shampoo for years and i liked that it really cleaned my hair a scalp without irritating my skin. Recently they reformulated it and it still cleans my hair just as well but now i feel like its more gentle which is good. I only wash my hair 1 or 2 times a week so i rely on this to keep my scalp healthy so it doesn't get too oily. I would definitely recommend this.

I liked this shampoo the first couple of times I used it, but quickly found that the sulfates had a drying effect on the ends of my hair (which, in fairness, throw tantrums when not absolutely drenched in moisture). It does do nice things to my hair, but now I use it as an occasional clarifying shampoo (to use it up) rather than as my go-to.
I think it would probably work really well on hair that's thicker and straighter, or just on hair that's more sulfate-tolerant!

Super! I've never gotten so many compliments on my hair than when I was using this! I even have looked back at pictures of myself when I used this and I can't even describe how shiny and healthy it looked! The only reason I changed after I was done with the bottle was because the products reek of chemicals. I doesn't have a nice fresh scent, and the scent stays with you forever. But of course, you can always use styling products to mask it, but I don't so definitely give it a try if you're looking for shiny and soft hair!

I bought this at Beauty Brands during the liter sale last summer for $11. This smells amazing and leaves my hair super soft. I color my hair and this works well with it. This is on a par with Redken's All Soft for me.

I was recommended this product by a consultant at Beauty Brands and had once used it before but could not remember why. He told me it was safe for color and helps frizz without weighting the hair down. When I first used it again I liked it. Now my hair seems to get really grease with in a day without any product in it. I normally wash my hair 2 to 3 times a week unless the is an event I have. My hair now never seems clean when I wash it with this Sleek product. The memories are coming back on why I didn't like it. It weights my hair down but still is frizzy, not a good combination. I have rather thick hair too. Feels waxy and on top of it I haven't broken out since I was on accutane 3 years ago. I now have a huge cystic pimple and I think it is from this crap. I hate to take it back because I have been on the search for a shampoo/conditioner but this cost too much money to throw away. It isn't the tiny bottles I gave away last time, they are the liters!

I have fine long blonde hair that I get touched up every few months to brighten it up, I have had the roots died the same color for years and it has always worked...
This time I switched to Matrix shampoo and after one wash with the it, it stripped the color of the roots (they were fine all week when I used a different product).
Anyway, I woke up and my hair is a different tint and the driest it has ever been! I have jet straight hair and it was an afro, never mind I also used the conditioner! I would not use this product again, it's way too chemical, harsh and waxy -not what I consider professional series anyway.

This gentle shampoo is a great antidote to humid frizz. Even my straightish waves get frazzley in this heat and this calms down my hair shaft and smooths it out. Hair looks shiny and clean.

I love this shampoo and conditioner! I didn't think I would find anything to match Redken All Soft but it looks like I was wrong! This makes my hair soft, shiny, and manageable. My hair is wavy and tends to frizz in the summer but these products have really helped with that problem and don't flatten out my natural wave. I also got them on sale for 4 bucks each! Unbelievable for a salon quality product!

This product worked great for me!! I have very think medium length hair that always seems to have frizz. This product worked wonders for me - it made my hair smooth and tangle free. However, the price is ridiculous. Also, if used for consecutive days it makes your hair feel weighed down. I went to Sally's and purchased Slickline Smoothing Shampoo which is a generic off brand of this product. It works just as well for 2/3 the costs!!

This shampoo is probably the best I've ever used. It has no fancy smell or exceptional lather but it seems to be tha perfect balance for my wavy, frizzy, oily-rooted, dry-ended hair. I flat iron almost every three days or so & this shampoo along with tha matching conditioner seems to do my hair justice. I get really oily, but I really don't wanna be using a clarifying shampoo every other day to get tha job done! lol. This does a great job at cleaning my hair without being too harsh. I love this stuff. Tha shampoo & conditioner are really great for those who really need tha rich nourishment without being heavy.

i'm so glad i came across these reviews and decided to give this shampoo and conditioner a try. i change shampoos all the time...i don't think i've ever bought the same shampoo twice. i immediately felt a difference in my hair texture and manageability. the scent is soft and gorgeous. gives the hair a nice sleek shine without the heaviness. paired with the conditioner these two products have turned my hair around. this will be my go to set for good! i've never been able to say that! i'm interested in trying the rest of the sleek line. it is a bit pricey for me...i spent over $30 for the pair. i'm used to spending no more than $20, but it's def worth the purchase. for reference: i have bi-racial hair that requires lots of hydration. I also relax my hair twice a year to tame the curls. I feel it would work fine for coarse/ethnic hair textures.

This is currently my go to shampoo (& conditioner). I'm very picky about the products I use in my hair & God knows how many shampoos & conditioners I have tried. This is by far my favorite. I buy the huge bottles, and they last me a good 6 months. I'm on my 3rd bottle of shampoo & 2nd bottle of conditioner. It leaves my hair much smoother and easier to manage than any other I've tried. My hair is naturally wavy and quite thick, but I wear it straight. This shampoo I believe helps me achieve that look much easier. The smell is nice...I can't even really explain it. It's like a clean, slightly fruity scent. Nothing too overwhelming. My only complaint is that the bottles are kind of hard to handle. I once dropped the conditioner in the shower and cracked my toe open (ouch!!). I would recommend this shampoo a million times over though. I definitely plan re-buying, as I don't see any other shampoo out doing this for me.

Love the Sleek look line and keep coming back to it.
This schampoo works wonders followed by the Sleek Look conditioner and cleanses gentle YET it lathers enough for me to just use a tiny amount, and so the bottle will last forever.

I've tried "everything" and Sleek Look is by far the most moisturising, and for being in a very reasonable price range, I'll happily give it 5 lipsticks.

In terms of a regular shampoo (and conditioner) I actually prefer this product to kerastase and redken, which I have also brought. This stuff is simple, does the job, its not horrendously expensive, it smells nice and makes my hair look healthy. The only downside is that my hair tends to need washing more frequently than it does with other brands because it gets oilyer quicker... so i need to wash it every second day as opposed to every third or fourth day, but I dont really mind. It is quite often on special or comes with a discounted conditioner, so very good value... I will be likely to purchase again

Whether it's this shampoo, or the Redken All Soft conditioner, my hair now feels dramatically softer. I use a lot of heat appliances on my hair, so you can guess that it's pretty dry and brittle. And after picking these up for 2 for 15, I'm absolutely in love(:

Love this shampoo. Smells really good. Doesn't leave any build up. Leaves my hair very light and best of all - SMOOTH! Have tried other things but keep going back :-)

EDIT** Took two lippies off. With continued use, my hair got soooo greasy. I tried clarifying and going back to this but this just doesn't work for me anymore.
