This product is amazing. When swatched, it appears to look like a light coral with a golden sheen, perfect for a highlighter. However, when applied to the face, that's when the coral really pops. My skin is medium at NC30, but I think this would be a fantastic colour for most skin types, as it is a blush and a highlighter in one, without overdoing either. I can't believe they only have it available at full NARS counters in department stores and not at Sephora. It is super underrated. Highly recommend this product!!

As an asian with nc25 skin, Luster works great on me. It is peachy with some sheen to it. I normally use it for day time as the bronzy tone looks sporty. It's like the sun hits me at the right place. I would switch to another blush like Dolce Vita or Orgasm for night. I highly recommend Luster and I would buy it over and over. As expected of Nars blushes, the quality is good and it is long lasting. With just these 3 blushes, (although I have almost all of Nars' blushes), I am all set.

This blush is absolutely incredible. Unlike the cult favourite Orgasm blush, this blush is very smooth and such a nice, fine texture. It is a pretty light colour, so it is hard to over due. I personally like to pack on this blush, but sometimes I do like the natural 1-2 sweeps of this on each cheek and it looks gorgeous. It's a really nice peachy colour with gold in it, and on my skin, it has that very teeny little tinge of pink on it so it doesn't just look, bleh. However, if you are looking for a peach blush, give this one a shot because it is definitely much more of a peach than a pink. There are some shimmers in this too, which I personally like because it's kind of like a highlighter in one. At the same time, I can imagine myself using this in the winter where a bronzer might seem too much for me and I can use this on my cheeks but add a little bit of contour as well, since I'm into lazy people products :). It is pricey especially since it was $36 dollars (tax included) or so in Canada, but I personally think it's very well worth it, because I love it so much. I love NARS packaging even if it gets dirty easily, it's very sleek and kind of makes me feel a little more 'glam' if I take this out in public to use the compact mirror because I find it very handy too! I own a lot of other NARS blushes, but this is definitely the one that I reach for all the time.

NARS website describs the colour as “golden apricot”, and they’re absolutelyly right. It’s perfect for my NW25 skintone.

I was collecting NARS blush, and this was one of those that I was delaying in getting as I was judging it from the pan. I eventually bought it, and I’ve been wearing it most of the summer. It gives me “the glow from within” that I always wanted.

On me, it leans a little pink and looks nothing like the pan. If you are planning to buy it, I recommend that you try it in person instead of looking online.

Just like any NARS blush, this one lasts about eight hours, but doesn’t fade patchy like some NARS blushes, and I love that.

AMAZING! The perfect shade for either dark or light skin tones. It is very versatile and would work in either summer or winter. In summer, it adds to a tan but in the winter it is a very natural color. Like all NARS blushes, it gives off a luminous glow that has yet to be duped in my opinion!

Absolutely love this product. I'm a big Nars fan but was sceptics that this would suit me. I'm a ppp cool toned as use this as a bronzer with the nars bronzer brush. I can now have a golden glow too!

Love this blush! It's stunning on my pale yet warm skin. It appears very peach once applied, which threw me for a loop because it doesn't look so peach in the pan, but it really is gorgeous. I like the subtle shimmer in Nars blushes too. They almost act like a highlighter and blush in one. So far, I own Orgasm, Desire, and Luster and Luster is by far my favorite of the three. It's very pigmented so be careful. The first time I applied it I really dove in to the pan because the color seems so understated but it's definately not...went a little overboard and had to start it over lol! It's pretty dang expensive, but will last ages so I definately recommend this if you are warm. Will rebuy!

This looks very scary in the pan, especially for someone like me (I have very pale skin). I am sorry i cant give a mac reference for my skin tone but i use revlon's colorstay in Ivory and it is about a half a shade darker than my actual skin tone... and this blush is just as flattering on me as deepthroat. I compare this to Doucier, on pale skin this is a very natural flush of color. I think this blush suits those with red or auburn in their hair fantastically but one complaint i do have is that it is not "sheer" as it it labelled as by Nars, it is actually the softest and most pigmented powder blush i own! you have to be very careful to build you're way up with this blush as its so soft, it is very easy to get too much on you're brush. I would definately reccomend, it looks very different on the skin like than it does in the pan.

Luster is an apricot brown rose shade with some shimmer. Works great on me in summer mostly (NC20-25) for warm looks (when I wear coral lips). It's also really nice as a blush to wear when rocking red lips. It's just lovely as it's not too bright. For some it could be too warm.

This blush is AMAZING! I have only had it for a few days, but I can already tell it is a favorite. Highly pigmented, a satin apricot in color, and incredibly natural on my very pale warm toned skin. When I put a swatch on my hand it doesn't look a thing like it does on my cheeks...it sort of just looks like a light golden highlighter, but on my face it is a warm apricot with a slight gold sheen. It is pricey, but if you can afford it, it is well worth it in my opinion. I use a very small amount at a time because the pigmentation is so good. Definitely a winner for me.

Don't let Luster fool you. It looks like a highlighter in the pan, but it is definitely a blush, and a beautiful one at that. How it could look like a gold highlighter and come out as a peach pink blush, more on the peach, is unbelievable to me. But such it is with Nars blushes, they all go on very suprisingly. I have NW20 skin and this shows up for sure, I tried Sin, Oasis, etc. and I just kept looking like a clown. This is NOT less pigmented, it is a more realistic color, i.e. not orange or pink overload. So you can apply with confidence that you won't look clownish and spend five minutes toning it down if you put a regular amount on your brush. With the other colors, or some, of Nars you have to be so careful to put very little on the brush.

I love Luster! My skintone is NW25 and Luster gives a light peachy bronze glow. This was actually the first NARS blush (of what us now many!) that I purchased as it is a "safe" kind of color. I cannot heap enough praise on NARS blush! Smooth, long lasting, nice color. Recommend highly. Folks with darker skintones may want to pass as Luster is not a very dark color. For the previous reviewer comparing this blush with a $1 bronzer-there is no comparison, Luster is far better color and quality.

Like usual, I saw a YouTube guru raving about this blush. I was skeptical in the sense that I hate NARS' Orgasm blush, and everyone else seems to love it. But I always go to pink blushes, so I thought for Spring/Summer I'd change it up with a peach. First time I wore it I thought it came out pure orange on my skin. I'm fairly pale (or was at the time). I got a bit of a tan and swiped this on my apples and it gave my face a beautiful glow. People were actually complimenting me on it. It has tiny gold shimmer but it's not the tacky shimmer; just gives a healthy appearance. I paid $29 CDN though, which is expensive in my eyes for a blush, but NARS blushes last forever. It has great staying power too. I think it would look beautiful on people with green eyes especially, but I have brown and it still works!

This is my first NARS blush and I luv it so much! on my pale NC20 skin it is a perfect glowy apricot color that does not mesh with the rosacea that I have on my cheeks. Its a beautiful natural summer blush for pale skinned girls. It is pricey but totally worth it, as it has great color payoff (if you are pale) so I feel like it will last forever. If I ever finish it, I would 100% repurchase it.

Would I buy again?? YES x a million!! I adore this blush! I am finally getting my head around what skin tone/undertones I have and as I have such flushed cheeks at times, pinks and anything with a red undertone can make me look like I'm on fire! It's took me a long to realise that! (I'm a bit slow to catch on!) Hence asking the lady at NARS to try this on me, something opposite to them colours. (I am NW20 in MAC and Nars Deauville in Sheer Glow for reference - pinkish undertones) I have light coppery brown hair and greeny blue eyes and WOW! This is incredible on me!! It makes me look so fresh and pretty in an understated way! The NARS lady also suggested I can add a touch of other blushes such as Deep Throat (which i already own) to add more colour on the odd occasion and this looks incredible too! I also add a light swipe of MAC's Peaches to the apples of my cheeks over Luster as a countour and wow! This looks so non-descript in the pan, but it is well worth a try! I'm not sure about other skin tones, as I'm rubbish at working it out (I'm 33 and I've only just sussed mine!)But if you fall into my catergory of colouring, please give it a try! Ihope you will love it as much as i do! xx

For my skintone this is not a blush, more of a highlight. It is a very beautiful, natural color highlight. The only problem is, this is very Dupe-able! I have been wanting this blush for a long time and recently picked it up during the last Sephora Beauty Insider 15% sale. I started comparing it to other products in my collection after I first wore it and wasn't that impressed. It is almost identical to my ELF bronzer that only costs $1, and also a deluxe Cargo sample bronzer in Medium that I got for only $5 and has 4g of product, almost the same amount as the Nars. For me to pay for high end products, they have to be special and not something that I can find for much cheaper. I will be returning this blush.

I was ready to be obsessed with this blush, but it looked AWFUL on me. I'm cool toned, and as some others have mentioned it really clashes with my coloring. I look sickly. I'm very pale, brunette, and cool toned. I gave it a 2 because it's a pretty blush It just does not work with my coloring : (

I think luster is one of those blushes that is easily overlooked because its such a boring bronzey colour. However, once applied to the cheeks, it is a different story. This gives me a pretty warm flush to the cheeks. This is what I expected "warmth" from BE to do but sadly that colour is too organey looking. This doesn't make me look like an oompa loompa and it's a great blush to really warm up the complexion without even using any bronzer. This product would definately be one of those used on Victorias Secret Models on their swimsuit shoots. 1 lippy off for me because I have very strong golden undertones which can look to warm, but the trick is to wear brighter pinky lip. Also works well with Nars's Dragon Girl lip crayon. It's also one of Nars best selling blushes according to the SA.

I was in Sephora a few weeks ago and decided to swatch all the Nars blushes just for fun! Luster is very brown and dull in the pan and I would never have looked at it otherwise. I was so surprised when it swatched a beautiful peachy-beige that really complimented my skin.

Luster gives a soft layer of color and is perfect for a natural look without being a 'nude' blush. It's just peachy enough to remain a blush and not look like a bronzer. It lasts through a full work day and it hasn't disappointed me once!

I have also used it carefully (with a really light hand) as a bronzer! I've tried bronzers in the past but even the lightest were too dark or orange-tinted for me. Luster's beige base helps create some shadows on my face without being too dark and the peach makes it look like a natural, healthy color.

On me (NW25) it's a golden apricot shade. I love the formula and texture. Staying power is alright. It's versatile though, as I have mixed this with some other blushes (i.e. Gina and Torrid). It's a great combo color.
