I love this fragrance. Its smell is very warm and sensual.
I really like the open fruity plum note. And as it settles down to your skin, the note turns to a warmer vanilla smell.
I think this fragrance is a perfect winter perfume. I will give it a 4 as it can last a bit longer but overall, this fragrance is very worth buying.

smells good, but doesn't necessarily last very long.

I love this.
What a diamond in the rough re: avon fragrances
A lot are ordinary, but this one is beautiful...spicy with just the right amount of sweetness. Mmmmm. plum.
Age: 36-43 Skin: Combination Hair: Brunette Eyes: Brown
duuuuuuuuuuuuude. This smells so very good. It's sweet and spicy. I only could not give it 5 lippies because it must be reapplied every few hours.

This smells as if Prada Tendre and Armani Code married and had a baby together called Imari Seduction...lol (And Betsey Johnson perfume being its step sister)...lol. I found Armani Code to be strong and on note, and Prada to be complex (which is good) YET too masculine, and being mixed together in this Imari Seduction makes the perfect perfume because I smell: vanilla, lavender, plum, amber, and woods. I found my winter fragrance. I only bought it my rep was talking about Jennifer Hudson and she mentioned that Jen is in the catalog endorsing this perfume, I love her!! and she is engaged to the smart Harvard lawyer. Avon did a good job replicating the new scents on the market and bringing Jen as the younger version of the Imari legacy.

I love this scent. I really do. When you first smell it, you smell what could be orchid or plum, and then it dries down to a sweet, sensual (but not musky) fruity floral. Its a daytime or nighttime scent, as I wear it both times- but I find that if you wear more purple with this scent, somehow it just gets sexier. The price is pittance, and its staying power is pretty good, better if you're well moisturized with either a scentless lotion or its lotion.
I asked my Avon representative for a lot more of them, because I think this will be a favorite for me. I get complements all the time wearing this one. :3

I received a sample of this from my Avon lady, and I have been wearing the heck out of that sample. I absolutely love this scent. It smells rich, warm, spicy, and sexy. The fragrance has also lasted for the majority of the day on me too. This is a perfect date, night, or cooler weather fragrance. In fact, it reminds me of CK Euphoria.
I am graduating to a full size bottle of this sesuous goodness.
two lipsticks up!

I love this scent. It is very sexy but not overpowering. Very, very nice.
Age: 36-43 Skin: Combination Hair: Blond Eyes: Blue
A rich sensual scent that smells much more expensive than it is!
Age: 30-35 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium, Neutral Hair: Brunette, Wavy, Medium Eyes: Hazel
This smells great. For those who hate regular Imari, try Imari Seduction.

I really love the smell of this perfume. It's a rich sexy scent like Armani Code or Vintage Soul but it just doesn't last. I have a problem with Avon's perfumes not lasting. But maybe if you buy the lotions or gels it may last longer. I had to put mine up for swap because it just doesn't work for me.
**EDIT** - I changed my mind on this because I bought the lotion to go with it now and I love it! It lasts hours longer with the lotion. So my recommendation is to buy both. I think right now they are even offering a free lotion when you buy the perfume.

I really like the scent...however, staying power is not good. After a few hours, I can't even smell it on my wrists. Therefore, I probably wouldn't repurchase. I did get a great buy on Ebay...so that's a good thing!

I got some samples of this and tried it on my wrist. If you remember Revlon's Intimate from the l960's to me that is what this smells like but it has a strange musky dry down. This is too heavy for me my mother used to wear Intimate and I didnt like it then and I dont like this Imari Seduction now. I guess it just does not suit my chemistry.

I sampled this from an Avon rep and to me, it smells a lot like Armani Code. Which I own and love! So similar! Has that same warm vanilla sensuality but not too sweet like a teeny bopper vanilla. A sexy perume for sure. I would buy it if I didn't own Armani Code, but they smell too similar to me to justify buying. Oh, staying power seems excellent also. I put it on my wrist and after washing my hands and wrists several times, I could still smell it.

I can't even say how much I love this perfume. On me it smells rich and warm. I love scents like Armani Sensi and MV2 and this is a great addition to those types of scents. Normally I am not a big fan or orchids but the vanilla smooths it out and just makes it lovely. I'll definitely be repurchasing. Quickly became a fave of mine.

I just got my bottle of this and fell in love immediately. To me it smells nothing like the original Imari which I find tolerable but not great.
The plum and amber notes stand out in this for me. On my skin it reminds me just the tiniest bit of Curve Vintage Soul but has better staying power. It is also smoother.
This was a refreshing relief from "poured from the same vat" generic scents being released by most companies now.

Imari Seduction is in a beautiful purple glass and plastic bottle, based on the original Imari bottle. Purple lovers would love this fragrance just for the gorgeous purple bottle to display!
Imari Seduction smells like the original Imari. Whatever tweaking was done is maybe a bit of fruits added to it.
I also noticed that Imari Seduction has a sexy patchouli note that wore well on my clothing, but didn't wear on my skin(couldn't smell the patchouli on my skin).

I recently became and Avon/Mark rep and got to try this :) I was very, very surprised. I absolutely love it! It is a very deep, rich scent in my opinion. I get the plum, amber and vanilla. It does not smell floral to me at all. It's rich - that is the first word that comes to mind. A great scent for a night out but could be used during the day - just sparingly. It doesn't really remind me too much of Fantasy as other reviewers mentioned and Fantasy is my HG scent. But there must be some sort of similarity since I like it so much. I guess if you like Fantasy, you will like this. But this is more of a grown up scent. I have been wearing it a lot lately. Lasting power seems okay. It's not all day, but most of the day.

I have to say, I really was pleasantly surprised by this scent. I wasn't expecting to like it- I almost never like "sensual" scents. But this really is quite nice. The notes are hard to pin down, but there are some fruity notes and some darker amber-type notes. They mix well, and I found this to be very wearable. I can definitely see the similarities to Fantasy that the other reviewer mentioned. I didn't find the longevity on this to be very good, and I probably won't personally buy it again, because I prefer Fantasy, but it is overall a nice, workable scent.

Does not smell like classic Imari at all. The Avon catalog states that this is a blend of plum and purple orchid with hints of vanilla, amber and musk. This starts out very strong that I almost washed it off immediately. It does settle down into a purple orchid, amber, vanilla musky blend on me and the fragrance lingers at least half the day on me. I do like the scent, it just not a good match for me.
