There should be no bad reviews on this, this stuff is my favorite shampoo and conditioner I`ve ever tried. The smell is incredible, sooo good ! Works well as a deep conditioner for me also. I can actually feel the difference rinsing it out of my hair if I leave it in for 20min vs. 3min. PS. for all you fine haired ladies just make sure you rinse your roots out well and your hair won`t be weighed down at all.

Loooovee it! This makes my dry, naturally curly, coarse Asian hair manageable. I use both the shampoo and conditioner together. Although it doesn't really support my curls much, the trade off for touchable, untangled hair is totally worth it.

I just wish they would come with a free pump instead so I don't have to wrestle with slippery humongous bottles in the shower.

I bought a few more bottles at ULTA. Mom said this couldn't possibly be the same stuff since it didn't make her hair super soft like before. I tried it myself and it took FOREVER to detangle my natural wavy hair. I decided to compare the ingredient lists from new bottle and old bottle.
WTF? Where is the apricot oil? What is this crap? I spent so much money on these gigantic bottles and it's not even the same stuff!
What is going on?

Update: 15 May 2011: I've gone back to this conditioner in the last few weeks and doing great things on hair. It keeps my fizzy hair in nice and smooth. I've noticed the difference as soon as I'm using something else. Excellent conditioner and does just what the bottle said.

I am half way of the bottle and it's so far so good. It leaves my hair soft and smooth. It doesn't make my hair greasy.

Will give the shampoo a try in my upcoming purchase.

Very lightweight yet still effective at detangling my baby fine hair. You fine haired girls know what I'm talking about. Smooths and shines the cuticle of the hair shaft even in this Houston humidity. Hair looks great, clean and shiny.

I love this shampoo and conditioner! I didn't think I would find anything to match Redken All Soft but it looks like I was wrong! This makes my hair soft, shiny, and manageable. My hair is wavy and tends to frizz in the summer but these products have really helped with that problem and don't flatten out my natural wave. I also got them on sale for 4 bucks each! Unbelievable for a salon quality product!

I'm surprised at the high reviews. I thought this conditioner was decent, but nothing special. I've had better results with drugstore conditioners. I didn't really felt like it helped to smooth my hair, and it didn't detangle as well as I had hoped.

SO far I love this conditioner. It is nice and light, yet does the job. I chose to wait a good 3-4 weeks before writting a review because I had read many reviews adressing a "build up" problem after using the shampoo and conditioner for a longer period of time. Personally, I have not had this problem and I am even using the styling creme. I was quite skeptical of this product but the salon I purchased from said i could return it if I was not happy, and she even went as far as not recommending it, but I chose to try it anyways.

I like the fact that I can get away with not straightening my short-ish wavy hair every day now ( I am trying to grow it out) because its not a frizzy frenzy anymore. When I do straighten and go outside in our rather warm, humid climate ( Ontario is "getting the heat and tropical waves this summer) my hair did not go wavy or kinky at all. Rather impressed by this.

I like the smell, its not strong at all, pleasant really and it doesn't linger at all.I got the litres on sale in my local area and it was worth every penny. I must note that my hair loss has decreased, but I think this is because I stopped using Pantene. ( I am not bashing the product, it just doesn't work well for me, but its wonderful for my daughters Incredibly fine long blonde hair..) Either way, I will totally purchase again.. I hope I continue to get the results I am getting right now, because my hair never felt better! :) Soft, smooth, really shiny. Love it!

My hair is wavy & frizzy. Tha roots get extremely oily quickly & my ends are slightly dry. I really love this conditioner it gets out any little tangles I may have and really softens my hair. When I used a different shampoo & conditioner for about a week, my hair looked so frizzy after straightening and my roots were insanely oily! I switched back & things are back to normal. A little goes a long way. The scent isn't anything to rave about, though not bad at all. I'm not sure how much this costs, my mother purchased it. I wish the bottle was cuter but I do like the flip-top cap.

I love this conditioner SO MUCH. My hair feels like liquid silk as I'm rinsing it out. People say this stuff is expensive but I really don't think it is. You can usually get it on sale, it lasts FOREVER because you don't need very much product and also, what do you expect when you are buying high grade salon products? I love the smell of this stuff too. It's very unique so I can see why some people wouldn't like it. The only thing I would complain about is that it's hard to tell when I've completely rinsed it out of my hair because it feels so soft. But really that's not a bad thing.

Five lippies, twenty if I could!
I've tried everything, so many diffrent brands and miracle products and it's all promises, promises - few products really performes what it says.

Matrix Sleek Look schampoo and conditioner works fine on their own, but together they create softness like I've never experienced before.
This does more than just add slip - it provides softness from the inside and after just a few uses, the two products together improved the texture of my hair so much that I couldnt believe my eyes, or my hands!
You just need a tiny amount for each wash - the small bottles lasts forever.

If I was to say something negative, it would be that this is heavy stuff, that needs clarifying every now and then, especially after a couple of months. I don't really mind the extra effort though as the result is so good.

I've been able to cut down other products as leave ins and and shine mists as it's no longer necessary.

It might not be for everyone, and I hate to think what it does for flat, thin hair...
For my over processed, coloured, very dry hair, it's the HG of all times.

THIS HAS TO B THE BEST CONDITIONER EVER! ....really.. lol. i first tried this at my best friends house. I first fell in love with the clean scent but then loved how it left my hair! It was super soft and i didnt even neeed that much product! So, i ran out and bought the shampoo and cond... ill admit, i dont care much for the shampoo, but i feel that the conditioner is the key piece to the sleek.look line... the price is a tad bit on the high side, but i just watch for sales. i bought the conditioner and shampoo for 30!! (..and im talkin about the BIG bottles) So, i pretty much love this.. HG for me!

I have been using this shampoo and conditioner for the past 4 years and no other brand I've tried compares. It really detangles and makes my hair feel super soft and smooth. It is pretty pricey but luckily for me that's never been an issue because my aunt's a hair stylist and gets it for free ;)

My stylist recommended this to me. It is a true gem! The top layer of my hair is coarser and tends to go horizontal rather than vertical. This makes hair smooth and soft without adding any buildup or coating. No more bad hair days. I've tried a lot of conditioners and there are some good ones out there but this beats them all.

This is the main conditioner that I use. My hair is damaged and has seen many a rough night, or impulsive bottle of hair dye coming ominously in its direction. This is the only conditioner that allows me to actually run a comb through my hair without a ton of matted tangles. Otherwise, I end up looking like Medusa.

I have fine hair with a layer of flyaways on top. This conditioner is great, it gives me bouncy hair with loads of body while definitely providing a sleekness. Most conditioners that help get rid of my flyaways leave my hair too flat and dull - this doesn't! Love it and will be buying it again and again...

I initially liked the conditioning qualities of this a lot. It didn't make my hair as soft and silky as I wanted, but my hair was significantly softer, smoother, defrizzed and less coarse to the touch after using this (although I admit that I didn't wash all of it out). I stopped using this for a while as it gave me blackheads, but started again as I'd bought the litre bottle and didn't want to waste it. I found that the more I used this, the coarser my hair became. On top of this, I didn't like the smell which was too strong and intrusive, and the packaging would've been better in a tub so that there's no wastage (at the very least, with a cap design that could be stood on its head).

After months of using drugstore products like Dove, Pantene, and Herbal Essences, I could finally take no more! My long, color treated dry hair was in need of help! My hair felt like straw!! Times being what they are, I've had to cut back on luxuries like my Sleek conditioner by Matrix. Well, I broke the other day and bought the Sleek shampoo and conditioner. I noticed immediate results and it was so nice to feel my hair soft after rinsing out the conditioner. I didn't have any knots in my hair and my hair felt happy again!
This product is great when I straighten my hair because it leaves it soft. It's also great when I let my hair air dry because it leaves my naturally wavy hair frizz free and soft. Truly an amazing product and worth the indulgence.
