This stuff is awful for me, I shudder at the thought of using it. I have oily skin and I have some breakouts but not really bads ones. I had seen the great reviews on here and at the time I had some spots on my cheek area that weren't going away. I saw these reviews and thought great and off I went to get some. I don't have sensitive skin and have never had a problem with reactions to stuff. After using this though the spots on my cheek were really red and angry but I thought that this may mean that it was bringing all the gunk to the surface. After a few days of using my spots on my cheek were worse and I had got more where I had been using the sudocrem. In fact, I got one spot that I had had nothing like before, like a really large lump under my skin which took ages to go.
I would never recommend this and I would most certainly never use again, it took ages to get my skin back in good shape after.

I was so excited about this cream after reading all of the positive review but I'm one of the unlucky people who couldn't tolerate this cream. It made me beakout like crazy, even when I tried to use it as a spot treatement it still made the skin around the zit breakout and it dried my skin alot, awful product for my oily/combo sensetive skin.

This cream is a miracle on acne. I have been breaking out alot since last year. Nothing had worked. Not even medication. When i heard of this nappy rash cream which could be used on acne, i jumped onto it out of desperation and curiosity. It is hypo-allergenic and used primarily for babies, i thought, why not? Two months now i have used this cream after my moisturizer everyday and it really worked since the first week i started applying. I stopped breaking out almost instantly. On the rare occasion that i do get that tiny breakout, i just dapped the cream onto it and it disappears within 2 days. It doesnt clog my pores or make my skin oily.

However, zapping away pimples seems to be its only perks on acne skin. It neither heals scars nor does it remove black/whiteheads. Despite so, having scars is better than having both scars and pimples. One less problem to worry about.

I use this as a cuticle cream only and it does a good job on that. I never really tried it for anything else.

This is the best thing ever! I am a 17 year old teenager and have literally tried everything possible, seen as i have had mild acne in my early teens and it gradually got worse. When i first started using sudocrem i had many spots, whiteheads and acne scars also many tiny pimples all over my face. I had been on medication and creams that the doctor had prescribed, had all the clearsils etc possible and gave up on the fact i was going to be spotty through the rest of my teenage years ( when i care most about my image)
Ive always been quite weary about my acne scars more than my actual spots and have tried products such as bio-oil etc to try remove them! nothing happened. From using this from the first day i have felt so much more confident, all my spots have gone and my skin is so soft. The acne scars are barely noticeable and i can now go out of the house without make up on! its the best purchase i have ever made and after about 2 month my skin feels amazing!!! :D definatley invest!

I've bought this over n over again. Everytime I run out I'll be sure to get a new one. Originally bought as a diaper rash cream for my kids when they were babies, it's now been a staple for the last 6 years. It's BND10.99 a tub and lasts ages so great value for money. It helps diaper rash, insect bites, redness, red spots, cuts, scrapes, I use it for everything on my kids. It's gentle and helps with healing. Recently I developed a rash on my neck due to a SS reaction. I dabbed a little of this on n it relieved the itching within 20mins. I never used this cream on myself before but it states on the tub it even helps with acne! I don't dare try it yet on my face but if I do, I'll be sure to edit the review. For now it's helping heal the rash n thts great!!!

EDIT: for irritation and breakouts on my neck due to product reactions, this has been the only thing that has helped! I tried retinals,BP,salicylic, aha/bha on the spots and nothing helped. However it doesn't help with actual acne on the face. Very pleased I gave this a try! All the more reason to repurchase! I think that since the formulation is suited for baby skin, it was gentle enough to use

This is a godsend. Completely obliterated dry patches I had on my face and also helped to combat some horrible looking spots that were forming.
I use this as a night cream 3-4 times a week, and allow it to sink in before I go to bed; otherwise I end up with it all over my pillow! When I wake up in the morning my skin always has a lovely texture and is clear. I think because I have dry skin this tends to moisturise it pretty well; don't go overboard though, just use a thin layer!
Overall, for the price and the amount that you get, as well as its versatility, I really cannot fault it.

This stuff is an absolute lifesaver! It's perfect for whenever I have a breakout as it really reduces the size and redness of the spots overnight. Also very good for fading acne scaring and it definately feels very 'healing' on the skin. I think everybody should own a wee pot of sudocrem and I would definately recommend! :)

This cream is perfect for blemishes/acne. Whenever I get a blemish I put sudocrem on and leave it on for a few hours and it really does help. Reduces most redness and also helps to soothe. Definitely would recommend it! :-)

This product is amazing for acne.

It is best for:
A) Healing open pimples.
B) Reducing inflammation thereby reducing redness and improving appearance.

I don't think this would work for noninflammatory acne. It does not clog my pores, but as it is thick and creamy I believe it could do so for people with oily skin.

My suggestions for use (for acne):
Apply a layer to skin. Don't rub in. Let it sit for at least 45 min but preferably a few hours. I wouldn't recommend using it at night for the simple reason that it is difficult to remove from fabric.

I think that EVERYONE should own a pot of Sudocrem! It's amazing for everything: insect bites, suburn, open wounds, acne, dryness and irritated skin. I use this most nights on my acne and although my acne has not completely cleared, Sudocrem has made such a huge difference in terms of redness and fading of scars. The reason for this is because of the active ingredient - Zinc! Zinc is amazing for healing and improving skin and it definitely shows in the results of this product. I would recommend Sudocrem to absolutely anyone! I couldn't live without it and it's saved my skin completely.

I have been using this product as a night cream for around 3 months now, as my friend recommended it to me. I normally can never see the effect moisturiser has on my skin. But this is actually amazing. People say my skin is flawless and so soft. I now wear it every night. And would be rather lost without it. I don't believe in buying big fancy products, as the cheaper more natural/ skin friendly ones are much better. This is such a cheap product and nothing has made my skin nicer . A disadvantage is that it is rather thick, and really thick when applying. It also makes your face white when you apply it.. so you definately can only wear it at nights :P. Also, when I first tried wearing it during the day.. it made my skin really oily.. and i have oily skin anyway, so it's a no no for me. Just stick to wearing it at night, it's enough anyway! :)

I have been using this as a night cream for a couple of months and what a difference it has made! My skin can go from very dry and flaky to red and a bit spotty, I have tried all sorts of creams and routines to help even it out but nothing really gave a constant result. Originally I thought this wouldn't really do much compared to a more expensive face cream (and I kinda judged it on its look) but wow! my skin has an even tone, no spots and most importantly no dryness. It doesn't have the most attractive packaging but it really does work wonders.

I have gone through about 8 tubs of this...it's amazing. my best friend.
It can be used on anything basically...I have used it to soothe burns or insect bites and it's brilliant for that.

My FAVOURITE thing to use it for is zits though...if I have a pimple thats under the skin...you know those painful red ones? dab a blob of this on before i go to bed & next morning...my spot is reduced to less than half the size, redness is gone down and pain too,and by the next day...gone completely. It is the best spot treatment i've ever tried. It does say on the tub that it helps for acne..and I rmber years ago when I saw my brother using it for his spot and thought...thats a nappy rash cream or something...but nope,it clears up your skin.

FOREVER repurchase.

People don't really use this all over their face, do they? That's madness - this stuff is hard-core!

But for spots or grazes, isolated things like that, this is a great healing cream. It's drying, so shrinks the moisture out of spots, which (at the risk of getting gross) brings them to a head.

It's used in every single hospital in my country for any redness caused by adult incontinence, or irritation caused by the chafing of adult pads. Most people have it in tub form, but now it comes in a squeezy tube, and that's the form you find it in hospitals.

It costs next to nothing and is very effective. However I wouldn't recommend it on cold sores. It's too strong and it stings. And you'll be left with a white cold sore which you can't rub off without causing yourself agony!

I had very good results with this in the beginning, but very soon realised that although this helped to clear any spots and amde them hheal faster, it also really blocked my pores and made my skin more break out prone. It infact then started a vicious cycle.. where I kept using the cream to treat the spots made by the cream blocking my pores.
My sis had the same thing happen to her as well.

This is a pretty decent product. I use it on any blemishes I have and it just helps tone down the redness and make them a little less inflammed. Doesn't totally help heal them but it does help. I love the lavender scent and the fact that it's so cheap. They also have a travel sized tube sudocrem but the ingredients are a lot different to the original in the pot and I don't think it works aswell.

Sudocrem is the best zinc paste I have seen so far. The lavender and other added ingredients support the zinc in healing, protecting and soothing the skin very well.
I understand that some people are against this kind of creams or have had a bad experience. I like to think that zinc paste should be used with the same care as for instance cortison ointment. Use it locally for on conditions it is intended for and only over a limited period of time.
This way you can enjoy the great benefits on your skin and avoid the lesser great side effects.
If you are looking for a way to deliver zinc to your skin to help with acne and blemishes do not apply zinc paste all over your face (I have heard some people are doing this!) By doing this you are very likely to harm your skin! Use a face mask that contains zinc instead or take it orally.
