I found this lotion to be much like other tanners I've used. I used the one for medium/dark skintones (even though I have fair skin) and I got a nice tan. The scent is better than most tanners but unfortunately it does rub off on my clothes even after I've showered.

I like this stuff. You have to apply it evenly. It doesn't stink like most self tanners. This will darken your palms easier than other lotions, therefore I apply a thick lotion to my hands to fill in the dryness before lathering this stuff in my palms to apply to my body. It works. I also like the silky texture of this.

I usually don't use weak self tanners; lotion with a touch of tanner, however, of the ones I've tried & smelled, this one is by far the best.
It smells great, very soft and a little sweet, unlike all other lotions with tanner.

However, unless you're really pale and only want a very very subtle color change after repeated uses, it's better to go with a full strength sunless tanner. Also, as an alternative to buying a lotion with a touch of tanner which is almost the same price as most drugstore full strength sunless tanners, you could just mix a regular self tanner with your favorite lotion.

If you're like me, and use lots of self tanner, and want a lotion that will not fade your tan and smells wonderful, this is a good one. I really love the scent of this one, just as much as my other scented lotions that have no self tanner in them.

Olay Touch of Sun is one of the best gradual sunless tanners (drugstore brand) I have used. The number one offense- for me- when it comes to self tanners is the smell! And this stuff smells so much better than your run of the mill self tanner. You can detect the "self tanner smell" but only if you get close and you are looking for it. My boyfriend doesn't even notice when I have this on, where as with other self tanners he always makes some remark about how I stink! I also have very pale skin and this always looks natural on me and never streaks. I would definitely recommend this!

Ok so I am the first person to promote pale skin but my legs looked like death lately and I wanted slight color to mask a few veins and I figured a gradual self tanner would be the best way to do it. I almost reached for the Jergens but put it back on the shelf after remembering how much the smell made me want to gag (& I'm not someone who is sensitive to smells but it just smells like socks or dough or something weird I dunno). In faith I grabbed olay touch of sun. when I put it on I was excited that the smell was much more pleasent. Im sure this will do just as good of job as enhancing my complexion but my favorite part...is the subtle golden sheen it imparts. I could use this every day in the summer and maybe every other day in the winter to maintain a healthy complexion bc Im addicted to the angelic golden glow it gives me. It makes my body look heavenly! will definately repurchase.

this product works for me, but it only lasted about two weeks. It darkened my skin but it really darkened the palms of my hands more than anything. I think next time i buy it I'll buy a darker shade.

I really like it! It really works, unlike other products i've tried. You'll need to get used to the scent though. And you have to be careful not to apply too much on your knees or not wash your hands after. I'd definately buy this again!

Ok, so this is my HG product for AFTER I get my spray tan. This helps my spray tan last days and days longer. The fragrance isn't great, but it's better than most tanner scents. It's nice and easy to apply, and it's fairly moisturizing. I haven't used this without a spray tan, but I think it would give a nice sublte bit of color. It's absolutely worth trying.

I really quite like this product. After 3-4 applications you get a really nice golden glow that's very natural looking. I like how overall I look golden, yet when i closely inspect my skin I seriously can't see the product on me - no patchiness, streaks, darkened pores or orange in sight! It's easy to apply, dries fairly quickly and the smell is OK, not offensive at all. From a moisturising point of view it does the job. I would definitely recommend trying this out.
(BUT If you want to go one better I recommend you try Natio's Sun-Kissed Glow Gradual Tan Lotion - see my review)

I am pale. And when I say pale I mean P-A-L-E. Remember Lillith from Frasier? I make her look tanned. Now I was sick of my friends saying I was so pale I glow in the dark, so I decided to try this. Within just 3-4 days it made my skin look natually a shade or two darker (so I was now just fair, not glow-in-the-dark) smelled pretty good, kept my skin moisturized, absorbed quickly and was a fair price ($7 I think). The only problemn I had, which had nothing to do with lotion, it was all on me, was that I missed by fairer than fair complection. I missed being the palest person my friends knew, I missed spending hours trying to find a good foundation because most make-ups don't go to as fair as I needed, I even missed being called Casper a little. So the fact that I missed my pale self is the only reason I wouldn't buy this again.

The first thing I noticed upon application was the smell. It isn't a sunless tanner smell, it's a botched fragrance seemingly added to mask the actual sunless tanner smell. I gradually got used to it during application, then it returned with a vengeance about 30 minutes after application as the tanner started to kick in.
I will say, having never used Olay lotions before, that the moisturizer is nice. My skin stayed soft until it was time to apply the next day. However, I will be wearing gloves from now on, my palms tend to be dry from work (dog groomer) and anywhere that's calloused turns orange no matter how soon I scrub them after application.
The reason why I mention the sunless tanner itself last is because, well, there isn't much to mention... I'm white as a newt (to quote Anderson Cooper) so I bought the Fair/Medium, figuring it better to be safe than sorry and not go too dark. It barely made a difference at all after 5 days, I got a slightly yellow-tan tint all over. The bottle also didn't last long, I was applying it to my whole body and I'm almost out now, I estimate it will last a total of 7-10 days. Considering I paid $6.29 on special I'm not too impressed. Perhaps it's meant to only be used on your legs and arms?

I have tried a lot of self- tanners (Aveeno, Jergens, Fusion, Clinique) and I found this to be one of the best (tied with Aveeno). It produced a nice colour and it did not have an offensive smell, like other self-tanners.

I hate this stuff. It makes me look YELLOW. It doesn't even moisturze well.

I have enjoyed my Touch of Sun for Light/Medium Skin Tones. It does as it says moisturizes and gives skin a "sun-kissed glow". I have been using it now for 2 weeks and I have a "gradual" all over tan. I used on my entire body. I highly suggest it if you are fair and want just a "hint" of sun. ** It does not turn your skin orange **

this lotion stinks soo bad after it's applied. even just the overall smell is gross. i was born tanned, so i dont know if this product even works on me. i've only been using it for a few days. i use it where the sun doesnt hit certain parts of my body. i havent noticed a different as of yet.
it seems to moisturize alright, but the smell just isnt work it. i would hate for my bf to smell me after using this. will not buy again. luckily, it came in a pack with other olay products.
