Love this stuff. Feels so nice on the skin like jelly, you think its going to be greasy but it soaks right in leaving you feeling so fresh. Has a beautiful clean smell. Not sure about it being an anti-aging cream but I don't care it feels so nice! I think this would be great as a primer under makeup too, it has a silicone feel to it. I usually put this on my skin before adding a moisturiser.
Would buy again if origins wasn't so expensive in australia.

I'm not exactly sure what Origins White Tea Skin Guardian actually does for my skin, but I know it leaves my skin feeling really smooth and refreshed. I received this as a sample and I like it, but I don't think I'll be purchasing a full bottle (esp. for the price!!) But I do like how this sinks into my skin easily & it smells good, too; refreshing & light. This isn't exactly a necessary step in my skincare routine and definitely too expensive for such a tiny little bottle - although it's so cute! :) It sinks in easily (so long as you use a tiny bit!), but overall, nothing really special

I got this in a set, and I really don't know what this product does for my skin, but it seems to calm my skin down (from the redness). Overall, I like it. :)

I have been using this product for four years now and swear by it as a primer for my moisturizer. After my 1st or 2nd bottle of this, I wondered if it actually worked so i held off on buying more. Within a few days my skin lost its healthy glow and vibrance and I literally looked ashy. I ran to Origins and bought my replacement and within a few days, my skin was back to its normal and healthy self.

I guess you really realize how amazing this stuff is once u stop using it and see the difference!

The 1.7 oz bottle lasts me anywhere from 4-6 months so I think the price is reasonable (about $50 or so) for what it does and how long it lasts. I use it before I apply Make a Difference lotion and I have been happy with the results. Also, I love the pump dispenser too, always the perfect amount to glide over my face and neck.

I almost feel obligated to write this review as many of the other comments seem to be from a lot of lovely younger ladies taking a leap of faith hoping if they use this in their youth it will somehow pay off. No one has really written in with any long term comments, however. Well, at my "mature" age, I can tell you I was glad I took this leap of faith years ago.

I have used this product since it came out, which is probably over 7 years now, in combo with Make a Difference moisturizer. That is how it was originally marketed, and that is how I began to use it in combination. I tried combining Perfect World moisturizer when it came out a few years later, but it seemed too heavy in combination for my skin, and seemed to make my skin oily and definately did not have that nice, light, youthful feel to it, so I went back to combining Perfect World Guardian with Make a Difference moisturizer. About two years ago I decided I would switch to something else just because there were so many new products and wondered if I should be using the newer generation of skincare. Well, big mistake. I actually could see a decline after about a month of not using my Origins products on my skin, dismissed it as my imagination, and then kept seeing that dewy youthful property to my skin beginning to dissipate the longer I did not use it. After three months of slow steady decline, I ran out and bought a new set of these two items, and of course, within a month, the former positive effects returned. They even tried to sell me the items comparable in the Dr. Weil's line, as it was the "latest greatest", but no way-I was sticking to the PW and MAD combo.

I have since switched my daytime moisturizer to encompass an SPF, however, (Estee Lauder Daywear) as I was getting tired of adding yet a third product for sun protection onto my routine, but I will not give up my Perfect World White Tea Guardian. Since I continue to see a beautiful suppleness and minimal fine lines, I am certain that at least in my case, it is the Perfect World that has made the biggest impact, and not the moisturizer. People mistake me for age 38, and I am 50. This is consistent, and the comments they always make is that my skin looks so youthful. When I made that decision almost a decade ago to take that salesladie's advice and try this product, as what did I have to lose-"If I didn't like it, I could return it-just save my reciept", it was a tough one, but I am glad that I did, because except for normal gravity taking it's toll, I have only minimal lines around my eyes, a youthful quality and healthy glow to my skin, and relatively few breakouts. Yeah, it's probably a combo of good healthy living, good sunscreen, and good nourishing skin products, but nonetheless, I do believe that for me, that this product has made a positive impact over time.

This is just way sweet!

The way it glides on is incredible. It feels so smooth and lovely, and my skin really seems to get along well with it.

The scent is unbelievably lovely. It is flowery, but in the most pleasant way. Very comfortable - after application, I breathe in a couple of extra times, just to get another whiff of that lovely summery scent.

My skin loves it, and my foundations sit a lot prettier on top of it. It's just very very sweet, and it doesn't make me break out. On the contrary, I've had fewer breakouts since I started using it. Goes well under mineral makeup, too.
Lovely dispenser. Pricey, but surely worth it.

SA told me that this is designated a primer though reviews are under treatment & moisturizers but, no matter. I loved this when first using it, it mattified my oily skin and my menopausal mother who is usully dripping in pools of sweat swears by it. The dispenser (THE ONLY THAT COMPANY'S SHOULD USE) pumps the right amount and the finish is flawless. The texture of the serum is light and smells divine. I have never used this as primer however only moisturizer and love the effects. The price on the other hand - $45! Unless you're in love, and I'm not sure I am, find something else.
**UPDATE 2/23/08**Up 1 lippie Price be damned, this stuff feels like silk on my skin and not oily at all!! will continue to spiral into debt over products like this.

Am using this in combination with the Perfect World White Tea Moisturizer and am loving both. The skin guardian is so smooth and silky. My skin has been tending towards oily since I stopped taking birth control over 7 months ago and this is the only skincare line that has seemed to not only tame my oiliness but also keep me from breakouts. Love it! And it also helps signs of aging!!! Definitely try it.

I use this product when I think about it. I do like the way my feels when I use it but I really don't know if it is doing anything else for my skin. After I use this product, I put Lancome Moisturizer on and my skin feels very smooth. I am not sure if I would purchase it again, unless I go to counter and they tell me how great it is. I know, I am a sucker for a good sales pitch.

I used White Tea Skin Guardian for a while. But, like Cymballine wrote, I just kind of hope it is preventing all that it says it will. No major results from it. It *does* feel like a primer but does not work like one (I was excited that, perhaps, I could kill 2 birds with 1 stone). When I was having my makeup done for my wedding a while back, the makeup artist asked me if I had put anything on my face that would resist the adherence of makeup. This protector was the probable culprit. If I think about the possible benefits down the road, I enjoy having it around and using it. But, when I look for visible results, I don't.

I used this product for a few weeks, a few months ago and really liked it. However, when I purchased an Origins set and used the skincare products including Checks and Balances, A Perfect World Skin Guardian, Save the Males! Moisturizer and occasionally Modern Friction, I suddenly experienced breakouts where I'd never had them before. Thinking I'd have to buy all new products and that these had suddenly failed me, I stopped using the products and my breakouts quickly disappeared.

I didn't realize until a few days later that before using this I had never had breakouts on my forehead but now I was getting them -- then I realized when I applied "A Perfect World" I started with my forehead. I dropped this out of my daily procedures and have been happy since. I have yet to try doing this every other day or so, as the product does make my skin feel very nice and I like [at least the idea] of antioxidants for my skin. I'd recommend not using this morning and night, as it seems too thick.

Oh, and for reference, I am a 19 year old male with skin that is somewhat sensitive, with a somewhat oily t-zone and occasionally dry cheeks/mouth area.

I don't really know how to feel about this product. When I use it, it does make my skin feel soft but that is about it. I know it's suppose to be used for prevention so the only thing I can say is I hope it works.
