Wow, what a waste of money and make up bag space! I used to like the older formula, my only issue with that one, was that it didn't really volumise, but it did lengthen alot on my lashes. I had run out of the old formula and went to replenish my make up bag from Ulta, and saw this new tube that was $10 less than what it used to be!! Hey, good deal right?!!! No, not quite! No volumising, flatten curled eyelases poker straight (which is crazy, because the old formula held my curl so well) and just look spider-y! I would not recommend this to anyone and would not buy it again. I really hope they switch back to the old formula and add thickening ability!

Worst mascara I've ever used.

Not only was it gooey, did nothing spectacular for my lashes, it was impossible to remove.

And in addition to all this, the little ring that keeps the mascara in the tube came out two weeks after purchasing, and I had this horrible c/rap all over the place.

I was a faithful DiorShow user at the time (now I'm using Lancome's Oscillation), and I thought "lesson learned."

Absolute horrible experience and waste of money.

And I am as gullible as they come . . . good grief, I use Oscillation.

:-)

I purchased this product at Ulta for about $40 and I took it back. It's dry and flaky and only thickens a little. Needless to say, I won't buy this again.

Wow i did read the reviews before buying this mascara, but couldn't believe it was that bad, because i love the LipFusion gloss. So i decided to give it a try. But this mascara is just about the worst mascara i have ever used. It doesn't do anything special for my lashes and really does smudge after a short while. I've never had any problems with smudging mascara before.
I think even any drugstore mascara is better then this. Please don't buy it like i did, you will regret it.

I loved this mascara. I didn't have an allergic reaction which is a big plus. It heald the curl and volumized wonderfully. Lengthened a good amount. It didn't even clump. The only problem is it smudges! I loved this mascara so much, I tried everything to stop the smudging. I layered another nonsmudging mascara on top of it. I placed setting powder around my eyes. Mattifying powder. Everything I could think of. It still smudged.
UPDATE 8/16/08: I found a mascara to layer over it that prevents it from smudging. Neutrogena Wightless Volume is bascially rub proof on me.

When I first put this on I loved it, my lashes looked amazing. They were, long, dark and glossy. They were full and curvaceous. They didn't have that fake, over the top look either. .... Three hours later I had huge gray smears both under and above my eyes. I was soo disappointed. I did like how it made my lashes feel moisturized, other mascaras feel dry and stiff to me. I wouldn't recommend it unless you don't mind taking a trip to the ladies room every couple of hours to make sure you don't have raccoon eyes. I love the way it makes my lashes look but I only wear it occasionally when I know I'll be able to frequently touch up my makeup.

This lenthened almost as much as Fibrewig, and much better than Diorshow. It offered more volume than Diorshow. There were no clumps, no smudges, no runniness during the day, and the lift effect-no curling necessary. I originally was not going to shell out 40 bucks on a mascara, but I got a sample during my last Fusion haul and was bowled over...it really was "all that". Looked like I was wearing false eyelashes, but it felt weightless. I'll shell out extra money for results.

I too do not understand why this mascara has been giving all of you so many problems. All I have to do is apply it slowly and carefully and I get quite beautiful lashes.
The biggest benefits: -lengthens lashes
-conditions lashes
-ABSOLUTELY ZERO CLUMPS! This is no joke! The brush separates beautifully

My only complaints: -the brush was a bit too large. It's easy to smudge by your nose if you're not super careful. This is annoying but nothing that extraordinarly bad.
-Though it does thicken lashes, it didn't deliver as much fullness as it advertised, so I was a bit dissapointed about that.
-Lastly, it makes my eyes itch a tiny bit occassionally but not any more than any of the other mascaras I've tried. -Considering the fact that it didn't thicken as dramatically as claimed, it shouldn't have been so expensive!

Basically, I get super long, lush lashes that are plenty dark. They thicken and lengthen enough for a gorgeous natural look, but if you're looking for a super dramatic, larger-than-life mascara, look somewhere else.
Botton Line: If you have wimpy, short lashes, this won't create full, long ones out of thin air. Unfortunately, this mascara is best used as an aid to already good lashes. Luckily, I have been blessed with really long eyelashes, so this mascara has a perfect "everyday beautiful" effect on me. Thus, I will probably repurchase.

I received a smaller tube of this as a free sample and it is definitely a decent portion. There is nothing above average about this mascara. I find that it lengthens really well, but it weighs my lashes down. All the curl is out - just straight and weighed down. I like how it looks after I wiggle it from the bottom with quite a few coats for the first couple of hours, but it looks no different from any drugstore mascara. I liked that it didn't irritate my eyes, but as the day goes buy the mascara gets drier and drier to the point where my eyes to get irritated, then I rub the inner corner a little but and it ends up underneath my eyes resulting in a raccoon face. Without even touching it the mascara flakes. I liked my lashes best after I take it off. The packaging is just a chrome tube, again, nothing special. I wasn't expecting it to live up to its description considering this specific product does not have a Good Housekeeping Seal like the LipFusion.

I will definitely not buy this mascara for $38. I wouldn't even buy it for $5. I'm only using it because I'm too broke to buy mascara right now. I can get PF's Lash in a Tube to give me better eyes than this and that's saying something.

I'm really surprised that so many reviews say that this mascara smudged. I have found it to be the opposite....it doesn't budge! Which I really like. Also, no flakes....possibly the best non-flaking formula I have ever tried. I have already bought another. My only quibble: please bring one out in BROWN (not Black/Brown) for us pale people!

The only mascara that I have used that runs. Expensive as hell. I hate that these women have allowed this to get to the shelves.

Ok I know most people hate this stuff. I like it, let me tell you why:

Glossy natural looking lashes that are full and soft. 0 clumps! wears about 6 hours for me.

Why did I deduct lippies:

Price, smudge factor later in the day, and shade range.

I am pretty picky with mascaras and constantly trying new ones looking for the perfect one for me. Fusion must have amazing advertisers. I read a few reviews here saying it is horrible yet when I was reading its description on the Sephora site I decided I had to buy it anyways. It was not the absolute worst, but its pretty close. I hated that it really does not lengthen and that is something I really look for. It was also one of the most (sadly though not the most) expensive mascaras I have ever tried. It is real gimick-y and does not work well at all. There are d/s mascaras that work and better than this one. I didn't notice any difference in lash condition either. I remember I was going to return it but then I just used it up it - it goes pretty quickly.

First off, I can not believe I paid $38 for a tube of mascara. Oh yes I can mascara is my crack after all. I got this after hearing about it and reading all about it & was so excited. Thank God at the time I was working pt for Ulta so I got 25% off. I actually kind of liked this mascara. It lengthed, it held a curl and it didn't smudge or flake. I used up the entire tube (eff that 3 month crap , even though I'm a huge believer in it..this stuff was expensive). The only reason I took of 2 lippies is because of the outrageous price. $38????? That's just way too much. I would be happy to pay $25 for this..no problem, but I think the people at Fusion Beauty are nuts.

After looking at the magazine ads, I had to try Lash Fusion. What a disappointment! I was so unhappy I returned it to Sephora. It did not deliver the lengthening results promised in the ads. It also made my lashes look dull, I prefer mascara that gives my eyelashes a lush, glossy look. It also irritated my eyes and caused some of my lashes to fall out. Worst of all is the price, way too expensive. I think Fusion Beauty has a clever marketing scheme, I don't know how they convinced Good Housekeeping to give its approval. Shame on Good Housekeeping!

Absolutely, hands-down, the WORST mascara I have EVER used. Here's why:

1. The brush is too large and it hits against the orbit of the eye making a mess to tidy up.

2. The mascara neither lengthens nor thickens, as it claims to do.

3. The worst transgression. My DH came in from work and said, "What's the matter with your eyes?" I looked in the mirror and I have never seen such smudging with ANY mascara I've bought. It was all over my upper orbit and under my eyes as well. Not just a little bit either. Note: The description on the website says it is smudgeproof.

Fusion beauty makes a great lip product and I think this appalling mascara is riding on the coat-tails of that success. The product is expensive and an utter waste of money. Mine is already in the garbage.

This mascara is AWFUL!!! For the money I paid for it I expected it at least to be good. It smudges as others have mentioned. It also doesn't deliver what it advertises as far as lengthening and thickening goes. I can't believe I paid $50 for this crap. Luckily Sephora will take their products back if you're not satisfied. I'm returning it TODAY!
