To sum this mascara up in one word: FAIL
I don't know that I can add anything that other reviewers haven't already said. It is dry; whether that is just the formula or I got a bad tube I'll never know, because I don't plan on ordering it ever again. It is the only mascara that's ever removed the curl from my lashes. It causes them to get a bit droopy. I gave it 2 stars because it did add some volume without being clumpy.

I am a mascara ho. I can never be loyal to one mascara. The truth is there are so many good mascaras out there that is makes it impossible for me to stick to one. I wasn’t expecting much form this mascara to be honest. I recently became a mark rep (mostly to take advantage of the discounts) and they sent it to me as part of their rep kit. I probably would not have bought it since sandal-lash really wasn’t anything special in my opinion.
I decided to try it anyways, and was I surprised. It goes on thick, not clumpy. The large brush is a little strange at first, but I find it really does put a lot on at the bases, where you need it. It isn’t clumpy either! I find I have to move the wand at a million different angles to get all the parts of my lashes covered, due to its largeness, but it’s worth it. I do spend a lot of time putting this mascara on to get it on right, more so then many other mascaras, but the results are lovely – nice, thick, dramatic, almost “mock-falsie”
As other said, the formula on this one is pretty dry. But I think you need dry mascara like this in order to build sufficient volume. More wet mascaras are better for length and definition, but not for volume. Another benefit of the dry formula is that it doesn’t smudge onto my brow bone when I am applying it like some other mascaras do. In fact, it doesn’t seem to smudge at all, and it doesn’t get crispy of flaky on me either. I’ve even slept in this mascara and it was pretty much where I put it by morning.
Since it starts out dry, as you can imagine, it will likely dry up quickly. My solution is a few drops of eye drops into the bottle to freshen it up a bit. I do not find that this has degraded the quality, though I have only done about 1-2 drops 2 times. This might help some of you who think that it is too dry.
In all, I think this is grate mascara. Great for a more dramatic lash look. This may not be your choice if you like more natural looking mascaras. I will totally be using this more often. Then price is pretty good, too.

I'd probably buy this again because it's an inexpensive mascara and I have to have at least four different options of mascaras on hand but it didn't do much to my lashes, it hardly lengthened, it did not give my lashes volume. I think it's ok if you don't want to look like you're wearing a lot of mascara, it's like a natural look while darkening your lashes. For the price you might as well by Cover Girl's Lash blast which is way better.

I am a fan of the huge brush, which I think gives great coverage without needing 100 strokes. My biggest satisfaction is the thickness I get, with no flakes or clumping at all. It doesn't curl well for me, but I haven't found a mascara that does. It also doesn't lengthen all that well, but I can't be bothered too much because the thickening is great.
And it's pretty cheap and it lasts a good long time.
I'll probably repurchase, but I am a pretty notorious product junkie.
UPDATE: I now favor a wetter mascara formula, because I like longer and fuller lashes. I've moved on, but this is still a good option for those looking for a natural daytime look.

MIB (as us mark. reps call it) is hit or miss on whether you'll end up with a dried out tube or note. We have complained about this a lot to customer service, but I'm not sure what the problem is. The great thing is, they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee, so you can call and get a replacement tube shipped out quickly.
Raven (black) is the best. If you use this and then add their Scandalash mascara on the tips, it looks like false lashes.
Espresso (brown) does nothing for me. I would skip this if you are looking for a brown mascara.

Like others have said, the brush is rather large, but nothing unmanageable! My favorite thing about this mascara was that it let my lashes look nice and soft. The only complaint I do have is that the color is not as black as I would like, and the formula is a little dry.
But overall I do enjoy this mascara for every day looks

When I first tried this mascara, I was dissapointed. The ginormous brush definately has a learning curve. I have really long lashes and still nearly put my eye out! I kept using it for whatever reason, I think because among reps everyone LOVED it so I felt like I was supposed to -and it has grown on me. Once you get used to it, it's very effective for thickening, which is what I need most.
Pros: Great price, nice look once you figure it out, good staying power
Cons: Not as glossy as I would like, formula is a little dry.Doesn't hold a curl very well.

PROS: Inexpensive (a couple of bucks). Did not clump (no lash comb needed, IME). I actually like the big tube and big "fluffy" brush (I usually avoid buying mascara that doesn't have that kind of brush). No smudging. No flaking. Decent length of wear. Seems to lengthen a TINY bit... Comes off fine w/eye mu remover (I use Clinique TTDO).
CONS: The mascara formula seemed kind of dry. Smells a little strong. Needs a couple of coats. Need to purchase from an Avon rep.
Overall, I would consider repurchasing. I'm not sure if my tube is a little dried out or if that's how the formula is, but I love the brush and LOVE that it hasn't clumped on me yet!

I tried this mascara for the first time this morning. It is just okay on my lashes. Luckily, I got it in a demo mag for about $3, so I didn't waste a bunch of $$. I curled my lashes before applying and it seemed to instantly un-curl them. It thickened okay, but my lashes look dry and flaky. It didn't do anything for the length. I had to apply it for nearly 10 minutes to get my lashes to look decent before leaving the house and I really don't have time for that. I ordered a tube of my old standby, Clinique High Definition, today. I guess I will live with this stuff until my Sephora order arrives.
The Make It Big tube is huge though, so if it works for you, it's a pretty good value....

really nice product. I've tried many mascaras and this so far is one of my favorites. it doesn't clump, its easy to remove, my eyelashes separate and it makes them long and looking natural. other brands leave my eyelashes clumpy and make them stick together which is a pain to try to separate them. the only thing i dislike is that it smudges like crazy so if you wear contacts like me try to avoid rubbing your eyes but other than thati would recommend this to anyone who wants long non clumpy yet natural looking eyelashes.

I love mark products in general, and this mascara is no exception. It is one of my favorite mascaras right now. The brush is huge and gets every lash with ease. The formula is light, so it doesn't clump or smudge on me at all. It actually looks like I have a great set of false lashes on. I would definitely buy this again.

The product looked so promising from the Mark mag & I generally love their products but this was a huge disappointment. I don't think I bothered to try it twice. For some reason, Avon seems to think that a big-ass brush = big-ass lashes. The only thing this meant for me was that my eyelids got more coverage than my short teeny lashes. The long handle & humungous brush make it Impossible to apply with any precision & it smudges like mad (again, on my short droopy lashes, even with curling). I was so embarrassed to wear this to a party, only to come home & see in the mirror my smudgy raccoon eyes. I'll stick with my Estee Lauder Magnascopic for the time being.

I really wanted to like this mascara---it got great reviews and I love mark products, but it just wasn't for me. I curl my eye lashes, so I need a mascara (usually waterproof) that will hold a curl. This stuff made my lashes droop almost instantly, looked greyish on (I have it in espresso), and was pretty dried out already, even though I just opened it. Went on clumpy...just not good in general.

Eh - that's how I feel about this mascara. In my never-ending quest to find the perfect mascara, i.e. one that plumps, lengthens, curls, looks glossy, is super black and whose company doesn't test on animals, I came across this mascara and its somewhat favorable reviews and thought, why not? Well, here's why not: I found the brush way too big and the formula too dry, thus creating a cake-y, spidery-looking mess. No thanks.

I do love this stuff. It used to be my everyday mascara, but since I'm not a mark representative anymore I find it much easier to just buy something from a local shop. It adds volume and length, and I love the giant brush. I did find that it dried out after about a month of use though.

I actually didn't love this mascara, which is unsual because I use a lot of mark products that I think are great. It didn't do anything special to my lashes- no extra volume or length, like I had hoped. For me, it was just a basic mascara with nothing really special about it!

I had high hopes for this product. The wand is similar to my favourite brand, Benefit, Bad Gal mascara, but it's not even half as good. I really want to find a great mascara that's cheaper!
It is SO clumpy! Even after I combed my lashes, my lashes stuck together. Yes they were thick and lush, but clumpy and dry looking.
Too bad.
