I have No. 64, Pink Explosion, bought in Europe for 36 Euro. Love the smellof roses, hate the brush. I thought Chanel has to have some kind of standard, well apparently not. The hair is coming out of the brush, already from the first time I used this product. Nevertheless the colour fits perfectly. I always blow the first layer off the brush, which makes it look more natural. Expensive but worth it.

I am not a big fan of the Chanel Joues contraste blushes. I know I am in the minority here...lol. IMO the blush seems to magnify my facial pores. It does not look as natural to me as my dior blushes do. I have bought Rose Petale, Rose Bronze, Orchid Rose, and Rose Dust, But none did it for me, so i gave up. My Favorite blushes are from Dior Chantecaille and LM (They look so natural). I also do not like a heavy blush so most of the blushes I favor do not have strong pigmentation. Hence Chantecaille, diorblush and Laura mercier 2nd skin color blushes. Not a fan of the Chanel Rose scent. The blush dome is pretty but the packaging is so so.

Wonderful blusher. I have "tea rose" and itt actually smells like roses! It looks so natural on my skin. The brush that comes with it is, as far as I am concerned, not soft enough - but you can always use your own :) Lovely range of colours to chose from. Definitely a must!

I know some people hate them and think the hype is all about the name alone, but I truly ♥ them. Here's why:
The texture: It’s so finely milled (finest powder blushes I’ve ever come across) it’s creamy smooth and melts on your skin. The texture is so fine the blush will never look chalky on the skin.
The shades: While I can’t say that they are universally flattering or highly pigmented like NARS (or MAC or Bobbi Brown) can be (they don’t show on darker skins) light to medium skins will find that they give such a natural glow. And although sparkly in the pan, these sparkles don't show on the skin; neither do they accentuate my pores or add glitter on my cheeks; if anything the sparkles only help to subtly contour the cheekbones.
The security that they won't break me out: I have used them over moisturiser alone, over foundation + primer and powder, over powder alone etc and never once has my skin reacted negatively.
The scent: I know some people dislike scented products, but this is what dots the i on the word luxurious for this blush. I like applying (and reapplying!) the blush just so I could enjoy the scent.
All that said the brush that comes with them is utterly useless, and I could do without the not-so-velvety velvet pouch, but I know others who love that the brush makes the compact very travel-friendly (it does work if you are desperate) and the pouch does help with keeping the compact scratch-free (which you do want to do, considering how much money you are parting for a pan of JC).
Bottomline: More JC's will find their way in my blush collection soon!
Oh and they last considerably long on my cheeks, which is pretty amazing seeing that it's hot and humid where I am, and nothing lasts all day without touchups.

This is a very natural, rose shade blush. It goes on matte and I apply with a big powder brush on the upper cheek bone area. I use very little since I want a natural flushed look. It's long lasting and no break outs.

Got this in 'rose dust' because I'm anal about blushers having shimmer and being overly sparkly but this was a pleasant surprise coming from Chanel as their other colours are just loaded with sparkles. Effective in delivering a soft, natural blush effect. Added incentive is its soft fragrance. Minus as it is expensive for a blush compared to other brands such as Dior or Shu. Also, the first time I used it with sephora's blush brush it was EXTREMELY powdery as if it was not pressed properly but after 3 usage it doens't flake off anymore. Odd. Overall a great product because of the packaging and since I'm a sucker for nice-smelling items (:

I am reviewing In love JC. As with all of the JC's this is no exception to being fab! On me it's a coral-pink color. It just melts into my skin with little effort. It has just a hint of shimmer and smells wonderful.
You either hate or love the smell, and I find that it varies in degrees of being to strong with the different colors. I don't use this everyday, but I do use it a lot in the summer when I tend to be a lot more tan.

I adore this blusher in 'desert' for a shimmery, elegant evening look. It is a dark pinky bronze that is difficult to describe but looks naturally contouring on my fair complexion. You have to be careful not to overdo it but this is my HG blusher for the evening when I want a subtle but sophisticated pinky bronze glow. Simply stunning! BTW I am dark brunette with dark blue eyes, fair skin which tans and use Bourgois blush in sienne for the day (Bourgois is made by Chanel!)

I'm very fair, and such a small amount of this blush makes such a difference for me. I've only just started on my first one ever, so I wonder how long it will last. I think for a long time. I bought the Chanel blush brush too. The results I see with this product truly amaze me.

This review is for Chanel Joues Contraste Blush in Rose Petale. Beautiful color, works well with a fair - fair/medium skintone that is on the warm side. Really brightens.

even tho it's quite expensive... it's worth it when you find your perfect shade of color... however i wish it would stay on longer through out the day. waterproof blush would be nice.

In my opinion, Chanel Joues Contraste Powder Blushes are the best blushes. The texture is soft and velvety and they have great pigmentation. The staying power is excellent and they have a a lovely, fresh, rose petal scent. They come in an assortment of beautiful, skintone-flattering colors, and each compact contains a large amount of product!

little disappointed by these...i am genuinely surprised by all the positive comments here! the smell doesn't bother me so much, but these just don't go on well. they look blotchy and DIRTY. plus, they have no staying power. clinique stays on me all day, and so does bobbi brown but when i use chanel blushes they are gone by lunchtime. such a disappointment for something so pricey.
for the record, i have this in turbulent, mocha, and fantasia. all gorgeous colors but just not what i am looking for. i don't know why i kept purchasing them, i think it was just the name and i kept hoping i would change my mind about how i felt about them. no chance!

(when the devilsh part of you need a rest from the crazy party week u had) lol its very sweet and cute and works on my skin.

Mixed feelings about this one.I don't think it's the most unique product I v ever seen. This in not exactly a regular blush is more highlighter than blush that's why goes on that sheer.Chanel has also regular blushes this is to highlight the cheek bones.I own the 82 reflex it's a coral color with frost finish.Has strong scent and very nice packaging.Nice texture goes on very sheer as I said and blends very easy. The powder has very good quality. It's a very decent product but personally I prefer the regular blushes from Chanel this goes on too sheer for me

6 months ago I had never tried a single chanel product and I would have scoffed if I heard that the quality was worth the money...well...I know now that its true. I never would have believed I would become a chanel groupie after being loyal to MAC for decades (yes, decades :)) then branching out abit before discovering the JCs. The JCs are the best blushes out there and you if you get the right color for you, you simply cannot be dissapointed. The texture is lovely, goes on smoothly, lasts very well. I started with narcisse during the craze that followed its release...this is a great place for anyone to start because it seems to be magical in its almost universal flattering nature (creates a lovely, natural, fresh outdoorsy kind of look). I went on to rose bronze which looks abit more professional in my opinion, just received golden beige in a swap (almost a bronzer - incredible for a natural look or contouring) and I'm waiting for Mocha in the mail. FYI - I'm nc30-35 or chanel beige (2 or 40).

i have this in a natural pink tone, 99, and the texture is really nice, the only thing i don't really like is the excess glitter, but otherwise it does well.

Love Love Love Joues Contraste in both Nude & Rose Petale. See my review for Rose Petale for a more detailed review.
Cons - the brush & difficulties getting into the compact.
The nude color accents & leaves a sweet soft "nude" color. Sheer & soft in color. Hard to describe Nude - but it is neither pink nor peach nor brown or rose - it's nude. Have had a TON of complements since wearing it! Only recently have I started layering both Nude and Rose Petale and have gotten even more complements. I feel like I won the blush lottery with Chanel Joues Contraste. So much so, that I tossed out all my other blushes & didn't flinch.

I have this in a shade simply called "blush." Wow, the tiniest amount will do you, and it blends well too. Nice smell, stylish packaging. Bit pricey.

Oh, man, these are pricey, but they are the most perfect blushes I have ever tried-and that includes the likes of MAC, Stila, GA, BB, LM, Shu, Px, ScB, the list goes on and on. These are stunning, highly pigmented and rose scented (which wears off the more product you use and the longer it's on your face) I have had about 6 of these total and only swapped away Tempting Beige b/c it wasn't spectacular on me. Orchid Rose and Rose Petale are my favorites, and Lumieres de Magiques a close third. I also have Reflex and Rose Cache. Mocha or the new won from Fall 2007 might be next...damn I love these. NC20-25 ish, blonde, blue/grey eyes.
