It's lovely at first... love the gentle floral first notes but turned into a powdery mess later, which is too bad because I love white flowers but not a big fan of powdery scents.

French Lime Blossom by Jo Malone is a soft, buttery, floral fragrance. It is the kind of scent to reminds me mild summers on Cape Cod-- understated, casual and slightly old-fashioned (in a good way). This scent, however, smells almost exactly like Pond's Cold Cream on me. That is not necessarily a bad thing (I like the way Pond's Cold Cream smells) but it seems that it is a lot to pay for something that can be had a drugstore prices.
That being said, Jo Malone's fragrances are somewhat unidimensional. (I guess since they are meant to be layered). French Lime Blossom is a simple scent like most of Jo Malone's fragrances and I don't get much beyond the buttery floral scent--- not much complexity at all but it is palatable enough. If you like the smell of French Lime Blossoms, I recommend going on eBay or going for a swap.

Ah!
I have several citrus trees in my yard and few things are more pleasing and delightful than the scent of citrus blossoms be they lime, lemon or mock orange.
Jo Malone has never been a favorite house of mine and I still shudder when I think of one of her concoctions that features basil. With The French Lime Blossom she really captures the amazing nose dosing zing of getting close to one of those tiny unassuming flowers and inhaling.
Someone else mentioned that this is a *blossom* scent, not a lime scent so don't go away mad if you wanted to smell like a lime fruit.
The lasting power is good, the scent is clean and fresh without having a soap or detergent feeling and it seems to float around me rather than just sit on my skin.
This one is rather flat in the cooler months but when the weather heats up this is the scent I reach for over and over and over. Mmmmmm!

I like this scent. It's a fairly simple white floral - Please Note it is NOT LIME - it is LIME BLOSSOM! As in FLOWER of the lime... thus, there will be nothing "limey" about it!! It lasts a fair time, doesn't give me a headache which most fragrances do, and I like it. Thus, I bought it!

It smells very powdery and green, and very slightly sweet which reminded me of the sweets I used to eat when I was a kid called Parma Violets. I personally wouldnt use this fragrance as I just dont think I wear it well- the scent to me is for older, more elegant and sophisticated ladies.

This fragrance make its way better than I thought at first, I baught a 100 ml bottle after deciding between french lime blossom and orange blossom( but I still baught orange blossom later (^_^)) and had a bit dissappointment. But in real, many people around me always ask me what's this amazing scent, I gradually love it after combine with vintage gardenia (recommended), orange blossom and wild fig but still good to wear alone. No doubt for 5 lippies.

Ugh blech yech. Pure Vetiver on me. Most of jo malone's fragrances with vetever in it turn to pure vetiver on me. I REALLY dislike vetiver. It smells disgusting on me.
:( I wanted to like it. I love the concept of lime in a perfume but totally not for me.

Soapy, powdery, linden laden and perfect for a little girl. I've got too much confusion and rage in my soul to wear this innocent of a scent.

This is my all-time favorite fragrance! I first discovered it 8 years ago and it immediately became an HG for me. I love the light, fresh, clean scent. The best way I can describe this perfume is a mixture of fruity and floral. It's a beautiful classic scent that isn't overpowering at all. As someone who is highly allergic to many fragrances on the market, I was so glad that this scent did not cause a reaction. Jo Malone fragrances are a bit expensive but they are well worth the money! I am on my second bottle of the French Lime Blossom; one bottle can last 2-3 years.

I really like this scent, smells clean & fresh to me.
but my sons kept on complaining whenever I wear it - they told me- it gives them headache & I smell like swimming pool .
My husband commented I smell like coppertone.
Thats when I realized - this fragrance is annoying =(

I happened upon this scent a little by accident and it was a happy accident. I really like the smell of summer limes and I think Jo Malone ahs captured it well, although this version has a soapy aspect that wouldn't be for everyone. This scent is quite different to some of my more heavy winter scents and definitely reminds me of spring and summer days. I like it although it's not totally 'me'. It is probably my equivalent of a crisp white shirt, not something i wear often bu that i enjoy wearing to feel a bit different to my normal self.
One note, i quite admire Jo Malone for not having too much packaging but i actually like packaging for products that might break like glass bottles and i would welcome a box for the perfume for travelling.

I actually really enjoyed this fragrance until I realised that every time I wore it, I got a headache!
I find it a really simple day scent that is appropriate for office wear, but there is something in its' chemistry that causes me pain :(

Very nice fragrance, with linden being the strongest note I can detect on my skin. However, I can't justify spending this kind of money on a "cologne" . I'll savor what's left of my little 30ml spray. Favorite scent: Bulgari's Parfumee Au The Blanc (and much cheaper too).

I really wanted to love this and use this as my summer fragrance but oh! Nothing about this agrees with me. The lime scent is noticeable but overpowered by too many other conflicting scents. Not the winner I had hoped it to be.

I really like this scent. It's so soft and delicate. I hate heavy perfumes. If you like a soft white floral, then this one is for you. There are only few fragrances I can stand in the world, and this is one of them.

Very light scent with a hint of floral. I don't like anything too much of a floral scent, so this is perfect.

I received a sample of JL French Lime Blossom from a lovely MUA swapper. I note this because Jo Malone is not a fragrance line I would have gone out of my way to meet. JM's fragrance names are so unimaginative, so uninspiring... (not that I have unreasonably high expectations!) After five days of sniffing the sample vial, I finally decided that today would be the day to test it on my skin. To my surprise, my skin actually liked it and turned it into something nicer than it seems to be. In the vial, it smells exactly like lime-scented liquid dish detergent. I'm still amazed that it has mellowed so nicely on MY skin, which inevitably turns each and every citrusy floral scent I dare try into a Demeter. (Love it and leave it, baby!) JM French Lime blossom wears surprisingly well, and reminds me of visiting my aunt in Florida, who has a house surrounded by lime trees...and alligators, but I digress. The tarragon note might be key here... something keeps the scent from becoming too sharp, while remaining citrusy green, clean, and floral. It may be that I've found my summer (and possibly spring) '07 scent.

I loved this fragrance at first, but the more I wear it, the more "old lady" the scent seems to be. It's pleasant, but a little on the sweet side. I have the lotion too and this went rancid after a while.

This is such an amazing perfume, it is absolutely my signature scent! It smells so wonderfully fresh and fragrant that as soon as I put some on I instantly feel clean and awake. It also stays true to one note throughout the day, which I prefer a perfume to do. Hard to describe exactly how it smells, green with a light floral edge. Have worn it everday for 2 years and I still can`t get enough of it!!

I like the fresh citrusy smell...lime is my favorite. This is a good rendition. After a while, it morphs into something like clean clothes hanging on a line on a summer's day. I really like it.
