Finally someone put this out there as an eye de-puffer. BRAVO missm for having more courage than I. Butt cream for your eyes? oh yeah. I couldn't live without this stuff. It does exactly what you think it would do...shinks the swollen pillows under my eyes after a late night. I've used both the cream and gel formulas and prefer the gel in summer and the cream when my skins a little drier. I keep it in the fridge, discreetly dispensed into a cute little 1/2 oz jar that tucked in the corner of the door so no one will notice. Within minutes of application my eyes are back to normal. Quite a feat, especially on sunday mornings! You do have to be careful though and use just a small amount and don't go bingeing on it. It is very dehydrating if used excessively. I usually wait for it to do it's magic, then put my eye cream over it to keep the skin under my eyes moisturized. Doesn't lessen the effects. One word of caution...do NOT get this in your eyes!! The other ingredients in this can really mess with the internal eye.

first of all, i know what you're thinking - "hemmhoroid cream - on my eyes?!?!?!" YES! do you ever wake up with extreme puffiness that no amount of eye cream or concealer can erase?? this stuff really works! i learned about it backstage at a fashion show. the makeup artist dabbed a TINY amount of this cream around the orbital bone under the eye and within 30 minutes, the model looked well-rested and refreshed - not puffy as if she had just rolled out of bed. the trick is to use a small amount (it is very emollient), and not get it too close to your eye (it will burn). and to wait a few moments to let it sink in before applying concealer. i usually dab it on right after showering, and let it work while i blow dry my hair. i couldn't live without this stuff! especially during allergy season.
and now for the obligatory disclaimer: neither the manufacturer of preparation-h nor anyone affiliated with makeup alley recommend using this prooduct in a manner other than described in the manufacturer's directions. use only as directed.
i use this at my own risk. along with my aspirin mask and my hydrogen peroxide toner.
:)
happy de-puffing!
