After hearing all the reviews on how it wouldn't show up, I was very hesitant about this. But I've been wanting a lilac liner forever to use on my lower lashline. So I trotted off the Mac and asked the SA to use this on me. She lined both my upper and lower lashline and to my surprise - there it was, the perfect lilac liner! Ok, so I bought it and tried it back home - it's not as visible when I do it myself (maybe it's in the technique?) but I still do get a visible and very pretty lilac liner when I use a couple of coats. This is actually the first liner I can use on my lower lash line without it smudging and making me look like a clown or a panda. When used on top of purple eye shadow, it actually makes the purple even more vibrant. I'm taking off a lippie because this formula seems to be creamier than some of the other fluidlines, and it's hard to get an even amount on the brush instead of a clump of product. Other than that, I really have no complaints. This is really a keeper :) I'm NC25 for reference.

I sent this back to MAC along with Haunting - this didn't show up on me AT ALL. I have olive skin but even when my PPP friend tried this on, it was nearly invisible on her. Me no likey!

I was very disappointed with this liner. On my hand it's a pretty metallic purple but it hardly shows up as a liner on my eyes even with 4 coats! As a reference I'm NC35. I had gotten Delphic and thought that since I had fallen in love with it so much that Haunting would also make me fall in love but I was wrong. I wish it was a tad darker so that it actually showed up. As much as I don't like Iris Eyes fluidline's consistency I prefer the color to Haunting as it's a bright purple. Maybe the fact that it's metallic has something to do with it or maybe it would look better on girls with darker skin. It just didn't work for me so I had to return it unfortunately.

I'm sending mine back to MAC for a refund. I love fluidlines...but this one is just too sheer to show up on my NC35 lids. It's practically invisible. It might work as a e/s, but the color is too close to lovely lily--which I already own.

I would not buy this again because one jar will last forever.I would rather try Lovely Lily pigment which as you can see below is a dead ringer for this. MAC's website descriptions of colors seems to be really off sometimes. It's described as a "Soft mid-tone plum". When I think of plum I think of a darker more bold shade of purple. To me this is a light, pale LAVENDER shade with a hint of shimmer. You have to line your eyes a few times to make it appear more strong.
It is very soft. All though very pretty. Pairs wonderfully with any Lure
eyeshadow.I match this with Idol Eyes,Water Nymph, Mancatcher or Aquavert.
I love the Lure collection all though I did not get "lured"into any of the glosses or lipsticks for some reason.

Love this colour. Applied with BB liner brush (the same one that I use for my BB gel liners) I got a wonderful line, that shows up great on my NC35 complexion. It really makes my mid-brown eyes pop! I hope that this is not a limited ed (it doesn't say so on the MAC website). A touch of black mascara and you're good to go!

It's a pretty color but Im afraid to say it.. doesnt show up on your waterline ( which is like all metallic fluidlines ), and its too light as an eyeliner..it's virtually invisible! ( i am nc15 )..then I tried it on my lid to see if its pretty as an eyeshadow and it looks EXACTLY like mauvism paint. What a dissapointment..I had high hopes for this one.. :(

Very sheer. I don't think its that great as a liner, unless you are going for that irredecent look which it s pretty for, but LOvE it as a base. Didn't think I was going to end up purchasing any of the fluidlines but ended up with both this and Delphic.

When I first got the Lure Fluidlines I was not sure what to expect. The photos of them were all very different- from magenta to light ice pink. I was getting them to use as shadow bases, but still not even sure that they would look okay for that.
When I opened up the container, I was suprised at the lightness of the Fluidline wondering why they would make it so translucent looking. Then I began to play with it as a shadow base. As accents to Delphic, it is really beautiful stuff.
After applying it to my skin, I realized that it looked exactly like Lovely Lily pigment from MAC. Upon protest from others who had seen it before I did, I put them side by side on my hand, and they were identical.
I apply the Haunting Fluidline to my eye as an accent to Delphic with Aquadisiac on top of it. When I apply Haunting, I quickly press on Lovely Lily before the FL has a chance to set. Then it shows up beautifully. This kind of application would show up on dark AND light skin. It lasts all day that way.
As for durability, it is similar to Iris Eyes, and Frostlite. Watery eyes will cause it to come off a bit, but a quick smear on a finger will fix that quickly- so I bring my jar with me.
I did not expect to like this Fluidline as much as I do, in fact, I plan on getting backups as I plan to use it as base under such pigments as MAC All Girl, Fuchsia, Sweetscents Telluride, bubble gum pink, and other light pinks. I really like it a lot. It also is okay as a very sheer eyeshadow on skin, but I find that it tends to ghost when it is not set with shadow. That means that it begins to stick to skin and make shadows of itself on skin. Frostlite, Iris Eyes and a few other FL do that to me. But set with shadow/pigment, it is fine.
