This is a great product! In under less than a month, it literaly washed away all my blackheads! The only downside is that it sort of dries out my skin, though that could be because I scrubbed it too hard.

I must admit I really love the smell of this face wash, and it did leave my face feeling fresh. But once I began using it I started having breakouts in places I never have before. It literally gave me acne. The grains were also really rough on my face.

I love this facial wash! Before buying this, I switched brands of facial cleanser. I started to have these ugly white spots all over my face. Blackheads also started to pop out everywhere. Also, my face is an oil mine considering that I live in a very humid area.

So I came across this product and I loved how sleek the packaging looked and how I get such a huge amount of product for the price. It was less than $4 I think.

It only contained 2% Salicylic Acid in it which is fairly enough. My face became really clean without making it harshly dried up like what other facial wash with salicylic acid did to me.

The next morning I was surprised that all those bumps in my face were dried up that they almost look as if they're starting to fade away. I was amazed that I decided to throw all my other facial wash that didn't do my face any good. The only thing I worry about this product is that is says in the directions to use it 3-4 times a week. It kind of bothers me because I think this face wash is gentle enough for everyday use. But we must stick the the directions. ;)

I love this product ! - so great !
after watching something about it on youtube, i decided to buy it. it worked SOO good on my skin after a few days of using it! it lasts a long time ; it lasted me 4 months ! not bad, right?! the price is cheap in drugstores and its the type of cheap with such high quality. i have great skin due to all the products i use and it made it even better. i use it ever day in the shower because stean uncloggs your pores, and it has a great smell, too ! i sometimes use moisturizers on my face but not all the time because i dont need it! bottom line , if your looking for sometime that WORKS buy this !! (:

I absolutely love this product. I only use it 3 x a week, however it is great. My skin feels soooo soft after using it. I have not really seen a fade in my blackheads, but my acne disappears instantly. I have random blemishes /not a lot of acne. It's really cheap too. I wish the packaging was in a pump form. Do not like using my fingers.

i liked this at first as it seemed to be helping my acne but after using it for awhile it just dried out my skin completely & ive since found better options for acne

Smells delicious

Dried out my skin terribly!
I dislike Gel cleansers

Bottom line: I bought this cleanser because I thought I had acne. It made my skin so dry I have to use moisturizer (I don't usually, it's my 8th deadly sin) It took a while before I realized I have normal skin and need to lay off of the salicylic acid. It's for oily skinned people.

Recommended: Maybe if someone asked me to recommend them a cleanser like this and they had oily skin I'd tell them to check this out.

I LOVE THIS CLEANSER!

I have oily, acne-prone skin and wanted to try something from St. Ives after hearing all the great things and reading reviews about this product. This is a great, gentle formula with microbeads. The smell is really pleasant and it also cleanses very well. The salicylic acid helps prevent and treat my acne, but still removes all of my makeup flawlessly. Really controls my mild-acne, and makes my face feel super clean. I also have very oily skin, and I find this works very well, as long as you moisturize your face afterward.

The only thing I'd change about the packaging is that I wish the pump bottle could be switched/turned closed so I could travel with it.

Also, it's really hard to find in stores (has anyone found this in their local drugstore?) so I ordered mine online (just to try).

I found St. Ives Green Tea Cleanser at Wal-Mart yesterday so I'm going to switch to that until I can find this in my local stores.

p.s. The new packaging looks great too!

One of my night time HG cleansers. I have never had an issue with this and use it in conjunction with EVOO and Grapefruit Neutrogena at night :) This regimen works WONDERSSSS :)

It does clean my face, and actually gets rid of all of my makeup at the end of the day. I'll give it a few lippies for that. But otherwise, I don't like it. I like the regular apricot face wash better.
I don't like the consistency of it, with the balls in it and the such. The smell of this face wash is bearable, but comparing it to the regular apricot face wash, I really hate it.
Regarding the salicylic acid, I find that it hasn't done anything for my acne. I think my skin is resistant to it or something, because any product with salicylic acid does NOT work for my acne.
In short, I will not be repurchasing this. I'll probably continue to use the regular apricot face wash since it smells better to me and does the same job.

This is my HG cleanser ever. It has salicylic acid which is great for acne prone skin like me. I've serious acne especially at my jaw line and sometimes at my neck which is really gross. But with this cleanser even after using it like 2 days, i saw a big improvement on my skin. my skin is less oily and i can tell the acne is reduce from worse to better. I'm impressed! I wish i saw this cleanser back in my teenage age so i can deal with acne. totally recommended!

cool face wash. it gives a cool minty feeling when applied. cleanse and exfoliates well. doesn't form lather much, but you can definitely see the difference. although i must add it makes my complexion look a bit tanned. and the skin becomes quite shiny, really shiny.

I love the packaging for this it is very convenient for me. but in my opinion i think this will help more for preventing acne and not treating acne ive been using it for 3 weeks now, and i love it its not drying i bought it for 5 dollars so that was deffs a steal!

I like this product because it keeps my skin from getting oily. But as for preventing/getting rid of acne, I don't see much difference. The little beads in it are pretty harsh, so I don't use it often, maybe only once or twice a week, but that is probably because I have fairly sensitive skin.

The smell is okay - I've been using it for a while so I may just be used to it. But what I really like about it is that you don't need to use a lot for it to cover your whole face; and it's already quite inexpensive!

However, if used to often, not only does my face feel more sensitive than usual, but it dries out my skin. I don't recommend using on a daily basis, but perhaps every other day or less than that if you have particularly sensitive skin.

Overall though, I like this product. It exfoliates nicely and my face always feels clean and smooth afterwards. I would most definitely buy it again.

I got this without knowing it had parabens in it. I use this for my body where I have acne (back and upper arms) and it works great.

I have this in the old tube because I've heard from a reviewer that it was better than the new one.I've used this once at my cousin's house ages ago and decided to try it out.I really need a good exfoliant since my skin is bumpy/rough and full of dead skin cells not even wash cloths can do the trick.I've been using this before my normal bar soap cleanser and my bumps have reduced and my forehead is half way clear.OH!and I use it on my bacne also.It really made my face and back soft.I use this about every night and I have been using it gently since the exfoliants are abrasive.This is probably my fifth day using it and it might be my HG facial scrub!

This product has the 2% salicylic acid that's supposed to help with acne, just letting those whom have had bad experiences with salicylic acid.

When you first massage onto your face one pump of the product, the scent of it can be rather overwhelming but you'll get used to it. The scent is not similar to that of the apricot scrub.

What I do, is that i leave the product on my face while i brush my teeth and you'll feel this refreshing feeling in your face, definitely great to start the day off with. When you wash the product off, your face feels refreshed and clean.

The product is really effective in reducing blemishes but would take a few washes to get most of the blemishes gone. This is a pretty harsh product so I may not recommend this to those with sensitive skin. I have slightly sensitive skin but I only use this every three days just to ensure that no big pimples appear.

Decent packaging but difficult to travel with because it has a pump. Totally recommend to those with acne-prone skin.

I paid only $2 for this so it's a steal. As for acne treating ability, i think it's great for prevention but not as treatment as it doesn't stay on the skin very long. It's a bit drying since it is gel based. I use it in the morning and it rinses clean with a few splashes of water... it doesn't linger on the skin like a lot of cleansers tend to do. I wish it didn't come with little scrubbies so I can use it with my Clarisonic. The scrubbies are very sparse and useless anyways.

This was ok but it's not for my skin type. It dried out my skin too much. I have more combination skin now and I have occasional breakouts so this was a little too strong for me.

If you are blemish prone though this would be a really good product for your skin. The smell is nice. I was afraid at first that the beads would get caught in my eyebrows, etc but it all rinses clean away.
