This product comes in a pretty, round box, with a quantity of little shimmery multi-coloured balls. A curious product, for sure. It has a light fragrance, that does smell a little 'old-ladyish', but doesn't linger. I'm fine with the fragrance.

When I first used it, I thought it was a big waste of money, because I simply could not see a difference. Then, I tried using a kabuki brush and really swirling and packing the product onto the brush and then onto my entire face. Well, still doesn't seem like much in front of the mirror in my bedroom. But when the natural light hits, my face just looks all dewy and fresh.

Still not enough to justify the price tag, I thought. Well, until I noticed I started to get a whole load more compliments on my skin when I wear it, and even people I'm not generally familiar with ask me what skincare I use! I was sold!

I hate the packaging, however. When I first got it, I didn't know how to open the box. It's cheap, takes forever to open and close, so much so that I simply place the cap over it without twisting, just so I can get access to the product much faster in the mornings. It tends to get tight even doing that, and I've lost a couple of balls to the bottom of my bed.

Overall, I would probably buy this again when it runs out!

I was wanting to try this for SOOOO long. I finally have it, and am VERY disappointed. When I apply this to my face, I see NOTHING...no coverage, no "glow", no sparkle, nothing. The packaging is also very cheap. Come on Guerlain, cardboard is the best you can do? The only good thing about this is the smell. But other than that, this is a total and complete waste of money. I love Guerlain, but they need to go back to the drawing board on this one!

I like the cardboard packaging, as a previous reviewer said, there's too much plastic in the world already, think about the landfill, at least this will burn easily. After taking some of the pink balls out, the color is good (I like that you can adjust the color easily like that), smells good to my nose, but I like Guerlain perfumes, the old ones. The effect is subtle, not cakey at all, some glitter particles that show in bright sunlight, but I live in Sweden where I only have to worry about that about, hm, 10 days a year... Nice subtle powder to use over foundation or sunscreen to tone down the shine without getting a thick layer on top. And, yes, the balls are very pretty, fun to use because of that.

I like Mythic 01, but not as much as Beige Chic 03. I use Mythic as a highlighter on top of my cheekbones, brow bone, my forehead, nose and chin. Occasionally, I use this as a finishing/setting powder if I want a different effect.

Mythic has the combination of Green, Mauve, Pink, Yellow and White balls, as opposed to Beige Chic and pink fresh w/ with gradation shades of balls. Green obviously counteracts redness while white and yellow illuminates, pink and mauve gives a healthy flush. So the combination of these balls will give off a very luminous and polished look.

I don't mind the fragrance but I understand that some cannot stand the scent or allergic to it. I also don't mind the cardboard packaging, I think it's pretty actually, especially the design and etchings around it. As for the price, these balls will last for a very very long time - years in fact, and it never goes bad. So the extra dollars you pay for is definitely worth it.

I am disappointed about this product! I have all 3 (Mythic 01, Pink 02, Beige 03).
-It looks pretty and lovely
But
-It is expensive
-Effect is little, can not use it as highlight and my face looks dull after applying
-the smell is a little bit strong for me
I will not buy it again :(, waste of money!

I was so excited about this product... It was one of the first luxury cosmetics products I ever bought so I had high expectations, and I think thats justified considering the price! I saw the pretty packaging and had been looking for a good illuminating powder so this seemed perfect. However...

* The 'pretty packaging' consists of a (very obviously) plastic lid, on a white cardboard (yes, CARBOARD) base... I found the lid hard to remove also, and I had to pull it quite hard to get it to come off. No matter how carefully I did this, I always removed the lid and a big cloud of powder went everywhere...

* I applied it with a kabuki brush, just by swirling the brush over the little balls and then sweeping over my face... The result? Absolutley NOTHING. I mean nothing. I applied a little more and ended up looking chalky and dull, as opposed to illuminated. And when I looked much closer, tiny tiny bits of glitter were all over my face. It looked unnatural, like I got lost in the glitter section of a craft store...

* The SMELL was OVERWHELMING... Smells sort of like lollies and candy but with an unmistaken "old lady musk" tone to it... And so so strong..

I think this product is just awful. Shame on you Guerlain.
The finaly verdict? ROBBERY! Do not buy this, unless you want a piece of plastic and cardboard and some very useless, chalky, old lady smelling powder.

This product is more or less of a luminescent finishing powder rather than a high lighter. The effect is very subtle (which isn't a bad thing). First and foremost, the packaging is annoying...thogh beautiful on the outside, it is cardboard and hard to remove the cap. You kind of have to keep wiggling it until it flys open and there is a cloud of powder and some balls fly everywhere. With that being said, the powder itself is lovely. I use my MAc powder brush and I use this to set my creme foundation...it imparts a nice glow to the skin. Really angelic...However, the scent I cannot stand. It is a rose/violet sent...a turnoff for me. I will continue to use this but I won't re purchase (mainly because this well last me FOREVER- a good thing AND I can find something similar that doesn't smell so bad! However, this is a luxury product and it is beautiful...so the price justifies it.

I see no shimmer and no glow. I see powder. Plain old powder. Oh, plain old powder in a crappy cardboard container that costs a ridiculous amount of money. I have no idea what everyone seems to see in this stuff. It seems to me to be lots of hype and not much substance behind it.

I have been using this powder for a year now, and I love it! Although my combination/oily face only allows me to use it during late fall-spring (because it doesn't have any oily control) i love the natural color and the light shimmering effect it creates! The only thing I don't like about it is the paper case but some people seem to like it, so.....

I lusted after this product for years before finally giving in and buying it and I cant even say how disappointed I am. Took me a long while to figure out how to open it. When I finally got into it, after rocking the cover back and forth and producing a cloud of dust, I anxiously put it on my face and "Whoa!" Not good. Powder city. The look reminds me of Geisha girls or sweet little old ladies that powder their faces too much. Perhaps people with oily skin can get away with the talc-y character but my skin is super dry and its never going to break through this mask of powder. Also, the scent has way too much voice. I wear fragrance and I dont want the scent of my makeup competing with my fragrance. I can smell this over the top of my fragrance long after applying it. I will say that it imparts a very nice glow or shimmer, but that does not make up for the powdery look, bad packaging and strong scent. Let me add that I LOVE LOVE LOVE loose powder and I have tried all kinds and favor LeClerc and various Laura Mercier formulations, so its not that I am not used to a very matte look. This is simply not the kind of matte I'm going for.

I have mixed feelings on this highlighter, and I suppose I'm a little bitter, lol. I REALLY wanted to love this product as I'd been coveting the mythic meteorites FOREVER and finally got them in quite a pricey swap -- but, honestly, I wasn't all that impressed =(

Applied with a kabuki, mythic will leave a nice shimmery glow which can be quite lovely (and NOT disco ball glittery AT ALL.) The problem is, I have a very difficult time getting this product to show up - even on my PPP. Using a heavy hand I was able to pick up more product, but then I get somewhat of a white cast - that corpse like effect, not so flattering. I even tried dampening my brush, but no luck.

Mythic does give a nice finish - it's just super ultra subtle - so if that's what you're looking for, you might be pleased. I think the trick is perfecting application, which unfortunately I wasn't able to do. The packaging is to die gorgeous. I wanted to love this if only for the beautifully elegant tasteful product to decorate my makeup table. The meteorites do have a HUGE advantage over loose powders which are always a mess, I just wish I could get this powder to show up on my skin. Unfortunately, I could not stomach the 'rose' scent - it's just not for me. I ended up swapping this away for MAC's MSF in lightscapade which does a better job of highlighting for me. (Ironically I saved about 5 or 6 of the meteorites in varying colors and crushed them up - used as a loose powder they are actually much more noticeable, haha, of course!) Honestly, if this product wasn't so pricy, I'd repurchase for the packaging alone ;)

01 Mythic is my biggest love forever! It evens complexion, gives a porcelaine finish to any foundation and absorbs extra sebum.
I am very pale and often have problems to find ideal foundation shade match. With Les Meteorites 01 I have a perfect solution for too-dark or too-yellowish foundations: one brush swip of Mythic powder over it and it whitens my face, brings it nobel porcelain glow.
I get tonns of compliments to my perfect complexion every tyme I wear this powder.
The size of package is generous. It will last you 2-3 years even if you use it dayly, so I marked it as not-so-expensive product. I m glade I made good investment of 36 Euros (in duty-free) into this fabulous product!

Such a beautiful thing to have! and it really works! I use it with the kabuki brush by Too Faced and it works really great because it doesn't look cakey or obvious.. well, maybe under intense sunlight it may appers as shimmery (in a nice subtle way, though), but under regular light the shimmer is not evident.
It gives me a healthy look and smells lovely. I think it's worths the price.

I enjoy luxury products and there's no argument that this is most assuredly a luxury item. We finally have a Guerlain counter in my area and I really had to have these. I had a friend who looked at it with me but didn't lose her head and buy them. I'm not sorry that I did, because I find them to be brightening without glittery on my NC20-25 skin. They will last a long time for me, perhaps 2 years.

Well, I just got this recently, and it was not what I expected. The reviews kind of made me think this was a miracle lol. Well, I will say it does diffuse a lot of flaws that I thought I had covered (obviously not well enough), and it does add some healthy color to my face. But, I found that the pink balls were just too much, making my face a wee bit darker than my neck. I'm NC15, so it did make me look a bit dark. I think I'll just get rid of a few of them. I like how the shimmer is very slight, you only see it in certain lighting. You don't look like you have glimmer on your face. I love the packaging, and the smell to me is heaven. It does smell like those violet candies! I think if you have a good base under this you'll get the best results. But as I said, I like it very much, but it adds just a little too much color for me. I first tried it with the puff, and it put way too much on my face, you really need a brush to blend all those colors together or you'll wind up with spots of pink and purple lol. It was 53 dollars, will probably last 6+ months for me (I wear full make up every day). I've been told, though this may just be a rumor, that it's cheaper in canada. I will see and report back when I visit in two weeks. I remember a lot of products being cheaper in canada than here but that was ten years ago, I'm not sure how it is now. Anyway, so far so good. If it's something you've been wanting for years, like I have, you might as well just indulge yourself and get it out of your system lol.
No break outs, no dryness. Oh that's one more thing, it did NOT emphasize my dry spots at all (very hard for powder not to do) and helped oil out a lot, but most talc products do for me. I like it much more than my usual setting powder.
EDIT: So those pink balls were just too much, so I took them out and put them in a benefit blush box that was on it's way to the trash. As a blush the color is gorgeous! With the powder on, and then the blush, no one thinks I'm wearing make up. Even I can say I just look like I have naturally nice and healthy skin. Yay! Now I've got two products out of this one box :)

I loved the soft luminizing effect this had on my skin when I applied it all over. It made my skin look pretty and soft. However, the fragrace gives me a headache! For this reason, I cannot wear this for many hours at a time, which makes it useless. Also, when I reapplied later at night, it made my skin look a bit dark/dirty looking. I'm NC20 for reference.
