I love it, it really gives a natural look, so if any of u loove the 'natural look' like i do, with no shimmer stuff or harsh , bold eye color shadow, GET THIS!... i got the TAUPE minerals its a nice brown with a little grey...this is my favourite eyeshadow, plus its MINERAL, and i also love the packaging, it has a little mirror at the bottom, and i looove the brush that comes with it, its the perfect small little brush...
4 those ladies who like VERY NOTICEABLE COLOR, this probably isnt 4 u, this gives a nice subtle, more natural look
UPDATED june2007: i bought the SWEET MINERALS and the lightest shade thats kindof pinkish has little shimmer in it, ew but at least its not so overpowering,
the second shade- a medium brown doesnt have shimmer, or maybe it does except u can barely see it
but anyway I LOVE THE BROWN SHADE in the SWEET MINERALS as MY BROW POWDER it looks so NATURAL and not so overpowering at all, but yet makes a difference, it blends in really nicely, and is hard to tell if this stuff is even on my brows!- GREAT FOR BROWS TOO , GO BUY IT , this is excellent for the natural look all over, its very versatile (use it as an eyeshadow, a liner and a brow powder)

I purchased this in Taupe and love it as an everyday shadow.
Very natural, seems to last all day.
Love it!

I got the shade Taupe Minerals. I love this, use it almost everyday. I only use the lighter shade. The darker shade looks odd on my caramel skin (DDD). Goes on smoothly. I like the brush that's included. I have no complaints.

This is the best drug store eye shadow that you can buy, in my opinion. I just love it. I have all the colors and I just wish it came in more colors. This brand of eyeshadow is definitely my favorite. It's so soft and goes on effortlessly. It doesn't look chalky on me at all and you can go from light to more intense. It's just beautiful.

Hands down, this is the most beautiful eyeshadow I've ever used. I love all the colors except for the one called "Terra". But I've only tried all of the matte versions. In fact, I love this product so much I tossed out all my Lancome eyeshadows to make room for these new ones. They go on so smoothly, stays on all day, and they have a wonderful finish.

I love this eyeshadow. It's very smooth and perfect just like the Mineral Wear pressed powder and bronzer! I have Taupe and Berry. I use the darker Taupe color to fill in my eyebrows (I'm a brunette) and as an eyeshadow, the lighter shade to highlight my brow bone or as and eyeshadow. It comes with a really good quality brush (actual brush, not a sponse tip applicator). I use the darker Berry color as a blush and I can't say enough good things about it. It's a great color - perfect flush, can be worn light for daytime and heavier for nighttime. The color on me is like a pink bronze if applied light or rose tan if applied heavy. I love it! No reaction just like the entire Mineral Wear line... no bumps, no irritation, no itchiness just smooth, flawless skin.

I bought this in Terra Minerals which seemed to be the deepest colors of the collection. They go on as matte beige and a medium chocolate. These are very smooth and surprisingly rich, and also long-wearing even without a primer. The bottom of the compact opens up to a good little brush and a good-sized mirror, too. I paid $2.14 after my coupon, but at the regular price they are still a great deal.

Got this duo in Taupe. Very matte, which is good for my super oily eyelids. No breakthrough shine after almost a full day....no creasing either. That being said, I thought these looked "chalky" on me, but maybe that's due to my color choice. Given the fact that these are inexpensive, I plan to purchase some other colors to see if the result is different.

I have all of these eyeshadow compacts except the Terra minerals, which look too orangey for my complexion. Good pigmentation, smooth application. I depotted mine & put them in a MAC 15 pan palette. They were actually pretty easy to depot, and I can mix and match the colors better. Very good choice for individuals with sensitive eyes who like a neutral color palette.

I LOVE the Berry Minerals. A little goes a LONG way and the colors stay all day. They are a nice silky powder that goes on smooth and I didn't see any creases on the eyelids during the day. Wonderful product!

I love the mineral wear eyeshadows. I have very sensitive eyes that turn red and scratchy and I have had no problems with these. I have the berry, nude, and the taupe. The nude colors are a orangey tan and a dark brown. I like the dark brown, but the orangey tan is just that, a little orange for my skin tone. I like the berry a lot, a pale pink and a rich berry color (looks great with the PF mosaic blushing berry blush). My fave is the taupe colors though. The lightest color is a cream color and the darker is a nice dark brown with no hint of orange. The colors stay all day, and I have never noticed creasing. I apply with a sponge applicator. I like the compact it comes in, since it keeps my sponge with the makeup. I will DEFINITELY buy again!

I'm very impressed with the quality of these eye shadows, as well as the fact that they're matte (no way was I going to purchase Neutrogena's new, ultra-frost mineral shadows). Their texture is smooth, easy to blend and long-lasting, and they do not look dry or chalky on my eyelids. I already own all of the Mineral Wear duos (with Nude being my favorite), and the only one I didn't care for was the Taupe selection. It appeared too white/grey against my coloring, making me look sickly. Also, the deeper Berry shade is redder than it appears in the compact, so be sure your eyes look rested if you intend to wear it.

I bought Classic Minerals and love the color and feel of this shadow. It last all day on my combo eyelids. The eyeshadow does tend to crumble and the design of the mirror and brush are cumbersome.

Got this on sale at London Drugs in Canada. I bought the "Natural Minerals" duo -- one of which is a warm light brown and the other is a slightly cooler medium brown. I like the medium brown better. Gives a nice natural-looking color great for daytime. I use a Quo eyeshadow brush and swirl the shadow on the back of my hand before applying to 'mix' the colors and even out the application-- I find mineral powders a bit more prone to caking than talc. Once on, this shadow has a nice finish that's matte but not chalky. The staying power is pretty good. It does crease on my oily lids after several hours, but a quick swipe with a tissue takes care of that. It's not as good as, say, Lancome's powder shadow for being crease-proof, but better than Mac. I use a base most days anyway. Recommended for anyone with sensitive eyes like mine. Also the "Natural Minerals" colors look great under fluorescent lights -- don't wash me out or make me look tired like certain grey or plum shadows can.

UPDATE 3/2007-Well, I said I would not buy it again. But it looked like a different product-at least the one I got this time which is Sweet Minerals. It is still crumbly. The lighter shade in this duo is great for the pooch area that we older girls get in the inside of the eyelid and this shade works as a great highlighter in that area, but mine crumbled after 1 use. I am disappointed about that. The darker shad in this one is not dark enough for the crease, which I need to bring out my eyes. They need to reformulate this so it will not crumble and then I would buy it again.

I prefer matte shadows because my skin is oily, and I don't need to add any more shine to my face with my eyeshadows. The problem has always been finding good quality matte shadows, especially in lighter colors, that don't look dry and/or chalky.
I bought the PF shadow duo in Berry, and I love it. The lighter shade, which is a whitish/pink (more white than pink), goes on beautifully, isn't dry or chalky, and seems to look luminous even though it's completely matte. I also love the fact that I don't end up with shadow dust all over my face when applying it.
The deeper shade (a lovely berry) is very versatile. Applied lightly it's just a wash of color, with another application it's a great shade for contouring.
The deeper shade also makes a great blush. Because it's meant to be used near the eyes, it doesn't contain any D&C red dyes which can sometimes break out acne-prone skins.
I find the shadows wear very well and look almost as fresh at the end of the day as they did when I put them on.
As another reviewer stated, I wish there were more shades. Most of them are browns, and I plan to try one of them, but you can use only so many browns.
The packaging is somewhat cumbersome, but since I don't carry my makeup with me, it's not been a big problem.

I got excited when I saw these in Walgreens cause I'm rather tired of paying so much for mineral shadows. But these do not measure up to the big name brands of mineral shadows--don't be confused! Colors were very neutral to blah, so much so that I have trouble telling them apart in my vanity drawer. And oy vay--the texture--I can believe they're minerals because I swear they're just repackaged sidewalk chalk! That's what they feel like on the lid and that's what they look like on. I applied them thinking they'd improve as they mixed with my skin's natural oils(like most minerals) but several hours later they looked just as chalky as when first applied. Packaging sucks--it's bulky and cheap plastic and for these prices--I paid 11 bucks each, yeah cheaper than BE or JI but not dirt cheap! I guess you get what you pay for sometimes. I will be sticking with my JI shadows.

I have 4 sets of these (all but the berry and terra). The quality of the shadow itself is great, they are soft and natural looking, but they show up on me. I hate the packaging, what a waste of plastic! So, I depotted these and put them in CG 4-pans. They are the same size as MAC, Milani, CG, etc. This also allowed me to put 4 colors together in one palette for a bit more color selection. Overall, I like these and will be interested to see if more colors will be introduced.

My skin and eyes are so sensitive, both will turn red at the drop of a hat or the wrong makeup. No redness with this shadow! I love the soft colors and like most posters, I get no creasing. This stuff lasts all day with no mid-day "eyelid shine". PF needs to make more colors, not just the neutrals. I'll buy them all!

Pros: The quality of these shadows is a lot better than I expected--super smooth and silky with very basic, neutral shades that define my deep blue eyes without screaming "eyeshadow!!" I usually prefer bright shadows and luminous/glimmery makeup, but these Mineral Wear shadows are great for work or when you want to do a bold lip. They haven't irritated my eyes and seem to last well--although unlike most reviewers, I still had some creasing (I don't use eyeshadow base although I should!). The colors are actually a little deeper after one application than I thought they would be but they aren't too dark and heavy either.
Cons: Not a ton of color selection--most colors are a variation of brown except maybe the berry color. Due to the marbled look of each shadow, it is difficult to tell what the actual colors are supposed to turn out like. The packaging is OK, but a little cheap and bulky. It could be steamlined and downsized a bit. Unlike most reviewers, I don't necessarily dislike the little brush that comes with shadows but I hate having to open yet another (bottom) compartment to get to it. And while the mirror idea is nice in theory, I'll never use it!
