I bought this after running out of the light version, I got this because winter was arriving and thought I may benefit from the extra moisturisation. It's just as lovely as the light version, with the same great scent it's just a little thicker in consitency. You don't need much to do your face and neck so it lasts a long time. I use it both morning and night alongside the cleanse and polish and instant boost skin tonic. Fabulous products that have made a huge difference in the appearance and health of my skin.

This moisturiser won't break your skin but also won't do anything special. I use it as a base before foundation and I feel it dosent' provide enough moisture. For that price, you can acturally get 3 bottles of moisturiser from "simple" which are much much better .
I don't think I will buy any of their products again.

I used to be very self conscious about my skin. I would pick it as I had a lot of blocked pores and this lead to infection and blemishes which made me more conscious leading me to inspect it closer and pick it more. Anyway I have used all sorts of creams and lotions and decided to give Liz Earle a go. I got the cleanser, toner and moisturiser and haven't looked back since. The moisturiser which I thought would be too heavy has infact left my skin very balanced. I usually cleanse, tone and moisturise after a shower and by the time I am dressed and ready the moisturiser has already sunk in.
It is reasonably priced for what you get and I got the product in a tube rather than the pump as I find the pumps a little frustrating when the product is close to being finished.
I have been using the gentle face exfoliator with this and I now have fewer blocked pores and as I dont pick my skin anymore the old scars are fading and I dont get breakouts. My skin looks healthy, radiant and plumped up. All in all a great range.

I use this product as a day cream in the winter and a night cream in the summer. As with all Liz Earle products it has a lovely, lovely natural, calming aroma, well to me the smell of her products are simply addictive. I'm a sell confessed beauty junkie who loves to try everything, no matter how expensive, but I'm never without this products. Anyway the cream sinks in quickly - do not put too much as it is the case with all creams, especially if you have a combination or oily skin. Afterwards my skin is soft, fresh, plumped and smells great. With the superbalm concentrate on top of it in the evening it's even better than a lullaby!

This is a beautiful moisturiser with a gorgeous texture, I primarily use the light version but, use this in the evening and through the winter months. My skin feels so soft, dewy, glowy and hydrated after using this and this also makes a beautiful neck cream. Lots complain about the smell of Skin Repair but, I really like it. Whilst using Superskin Moisturiser I actually missed the smell!

General description: Liz Earle is a UK brand based on the Isle of Wight that has achieved cult-status for its skincare products such as the Cleanse and Hot Polish cleanser and Superskin Concentrate. The line is best known for utilizing 'naturally active' ingredients to create effective products. This product contains among other things, avocado oil, beta carotene, borage oil, d-panthenol, echinacea, glycerin, hops, wheatgerm and vitamin E. It is also formulated on a cocoa-butter base, which may be problematic for some.
Packaging: The moisturizer comes with a choice in the sizes and types containers - 50ml jar, 50ml tube, 15ml tube. The 15ml tube is perfect for testing the product and for travel, and should last about a week with daily use in the mornings and evenings. I chose to purchase the 50ml tube after experiencing success with the 15ml tester tube. It is a matte light green flat tube with a screwed on cap and the nozzle is small, which allows good control of how much product comes out.
My skin: I have normal/dry skin. In winter, it is prone to patches of dry flaky skin but it usually behaves itself in spring/summer. I have very clog prone skin that is quite thin, and is prone to a pimple or two every so often.
Comments: I had a desperate search for a moisturizer during winter (where my poor skin was abused by gale-force winds outside and indoor heating inside) and was attracted to Liz Earle after several highly-positive reviews from beauty editors. The fact that the company uses natural ingredients was very appealing.
You are supposed to use a small dollop of the cream every am and pm on your face and neck. The cream itself is rather pleasant to use, emollient and just thick enough so that you feel that you are applying something substantially moisturizing on your face. It smells quite strongly of sandalwood, probably due to its natural ingredients which may be a source of irritation for some.
After application however, it leaves a film of oiliness on the face. The cream eventually absorbs completely onto the face but this is not until after 15 mins or so of waiting around with a shiny face. An ingredient in the cream also seemed to break me out. It most likely was the cocoa butter, which is known to be highly comedogenic. I didn't notice this at first with the 15ml tube but a week really isn't indicative of any potential effects of a moisturizer. To add insult to injury the moisturizer also failed to stop the dry flakes from reoccurring during the day despite repeated application of the cream
The cream contains anti-oxidant ingredients such as borage oil, but I am not sure how high the quantities of such ingredients are and whether these ingredients are actually effective.
I haven't given this moisturizer a rating I personally feel it deserves based on my own experience because having used some of this cream on my BF, his skin has become plump and more radiant. It also does not appear to break him out anymore than usual, so I guess the moisturizer works on some people. (I believe he has combination skin that is less dry than mine.)
Price: Liz Earle is not the most expensive skincare line by any means, and certainly is a lot cheaper than other brands that espouse a similar philosophy of using natural ingredients only where possible. The 50ml jar and tube both retail for £15.50 each, but Liz Earle also frequently does promotional packages of for example 2 50ml jars for £29.50. The 15ml tube retails for £6, and the products can be purchased online (www.lizearle.com), or via other means (also listed on the website). I believe at the moment Liz Earle ships only to Germany, Australia and the USA internationally.

Another great product from liz earle! Love d smell i use it as my nighttime moisturiser and its got a very relaxing smell. Sinks in pretty quicky and no breakouts or redness which id normally get from a scented moisturiser. Packaging is great i have d tube version so ultra hygenic! Very reasonably priced. Would definitely buy again!
Edit..after starting the second tube of this i did not feel it was doing a lot for my skin, used it in the evening but skin still felt dry afterwards or not hydrated enough, Still think its a lovely product but just not for me at d moment.

I have combination skin- slightly dry forehead, acne prone chin and cheeks and congested blackhead nose.
I have never found a moisturiser that doesn't break me out into spots, until trying this moisturiser. It leaves my skin soft and smooth, but not greasy.
I have only given it 4/5 as it does not have built in SPF. I also have this in a tub which is big and awkward, half of it just seems to be plastic for the sake of plastic, but it is available in a tube. Next time I order I will make sure I get a tube as it takes up less room and is more hygenic than a tub.

After a container of moisturisers that are 1/3 full and stored in my "maybe" box (creme de la mer, kanebo, shiseido, SKII and millions more) I finally came accross something that really works with my skin. This cream has lovely rich feel to it, but still it is very light and hasn't caused any breakouts on my combination skin.
Apart form the fact that my skin looks moisturised and hydrated it leaves a healthy glow as an extra bonus. Contains no mineral oils or silicones that clogg and congest pores.
A definite keeper.

this cream is has a nice texture, creamy but not too heavy. keeps your skin soft and moist all day. i like it mostly because it doesnt break me out or cause a reaction. its is a basic cream and doesnt promise you the world or contain flash ingredients or even a sunscreen but i guess this is why my skin doenst react badly to it. the packaging of this cream, as with the whole range, is boring and bland and the pot is double walled making it look bigger from the outside which i think is a waste of plastic and space in my bathroom cabinet. i wish they did this in a tube. the smell is repulsive, sweet and sickly, i hate it, but i put up with it cos i love the result.

I loved Cleanse & Polish and the Tonic - products I always go back to periodically; but this was just 'ok'. A nice enough product, moisturises nicely, didn't break me out or make me shiny but it didn't blow me away and I don't think my skin improved when I used it. Prefer Osea's APC.

This is the perfect moisturiser!! I had been using the dry/sensitive cream but got a free sample of this with an order. This is actually so much better for my dry/sensitive skin as I found the other cream far too heavy and rich (and I have eczema so I need heavy duty stuff!). This makes my skin so soft and gives just the right amount of moisture. I'm so glad I tried it!

Lovely moisturizer, ideal for my combination skin. Perfect for summer time, probabl will buy the sensitive/dry moisturizer for winter times
I have used soo many moisturizers from cheap ones to very expeinsive ones, but this one feels so natural with a fragrant smell.
I used to buy lifting, revitalising, firming..... moisturizers but this one beats them all. Can be used day and night
Liz Earle have an excellent website and very friendly customer service

I have been using this product for about a month now and I love it! It smells so gorgeous and it goes on light. I cannot use a moisturizer that is heavy on my skin...yuk! I just end up taking it off. This is my favorite moisturizer of all time!!

I really love this moisturiser, it moisturises well, but is light at the same time, so keeps my skin feeling fresh.
The blurb says: Providing just the right level of nourishment to leave normal/combination skin types radiant and soft, this carefully balanced moisturiser hydrates and helps to protect and strengthen skin.
Love it and will definately repurchase.
