I love the smell of this serum! When I'm in between washings, I like to put some in my hair to make it smell fresher. I wish it did a better job smoothing my hair though. :( It works fine on the crown of my head to the middle, but at the very ends of my hair, it doesn't seem to smooth enough and sometimes I wake up with horrible tangles the day after I use it. I'm not sure if it dries out my hair after a while, but I will consider repurchasing since it's a light serum that's good for the crown and middle areas of my hair and also it smells great! (I wish I could find a perfume that smelled like this and wear it. Lol. A very clean floral scent.)

***EDIT: Since I mentioned that this doesn't smooth my hair that well, I experimented mixing it with another serum I have that doesn't have a scent and when I took a sniff of it, it smelled like alcohol! Bleh! Like I said before, I was suspicious that this was making my hair tangled the following day and drying it out a bit, and once I smelled the perfume smell, I wondered if they added alcohol to it with the fragrance (though I thought that they could've used perfume oil.) I looked at the ingredients and it says that it contains 'Alcohol Denat.' and 'Cinnamyl Alcohol'. I will NOT repurchase.

I use this almost every day and my hair really drinks it up. I think it adds a nice gloss, like for photos, yet it doesn't leave my hair greasy (and my hair gets greasy easily, it's very fine). It's no miracle product - I still have a lot frizz for some reason after using this, but it does provide a nice boost of moisture on days when the ends seem dry.

AMAZING! the smell, the texture, the bottle, the price, everything! The smell gets everyone coming up to me and smelling my hair, even my dad comments on how good it smells. All you need is one pump, rub together in your palm, and it takes care of all those annoying little frizzies near your part in your hair. It makes your hair so shiny without making it at all oily or stiff. Any hair type could use this- it's about $12.50 a bottle, but you can buy 3 for $21. BUY THE THREE! you won't regret it! I'm praying this won't be discontinued!

Glamorous. Sexy. Feminine. That’s how the So Sexy hair care line makes me feel. The fragrance is just amazing, and it lasts well beyond the time you step out of the shower and dry your hair. This is one of my all-time favorite serums to use after a blow out. It leaves my hair silky, shiny, full of volume and smelling of exotic flowers. (That’s my take on it anyway). Unlike other serums, I find this one does not leave my hair feeling coated or weighted down. I use two pumps at the most and that’s sufficient.

For reference, I have long (mid-back), thick, naturally curly hair that is not color-treated and is quite healthy, although it does tend to become dry if I don’t treat it with care. I typically CO daily and generally avoid silicone-containing products. That being said, there are those times when I, like any product-junkie girlie girl, just want to smell divine and for those times, there is no substitute for So Sexy.

**Some reviewers don’t seem to care for the glass bottle. On the contrary, I adore it and find it adds to the mystique and sophistication of the product it contains.

I LOVE this stuff. I have thin, fine hair that is oily-prone, so as you might imagine, it's hard for me to find shine products that don't make me look greasy -- this one does the trick! I use two squirts on days I use the flat iron (gives such a shiny/silky look), but one when I'm blowing my hair out (I mix it with another volumizing product in those cases). I find this product helpful too when I've over-done it with another product -- it's a good "fixer." The So Sexy mousse for example made my hair waaaay to sticky, so half way through blow-drying, I rubbed a squirt of this through my hair, and it helped to offset the stickiness. I will buy this again & again.

I love this stuff. Shine serums are a must for my dry hair and this one is amazing. I put this on while my hair is still wet and blow dry it slightly then straighten and it comes out shiny and smooth. Smell is kinda strong but not in a bad way, and it does not overpower.

edit: became super drying after awhile and i'm pretty sure it has alcohol in it. I have since stopped using it and need to find a better one!

This is pretty awesome. I feel like I've tried a lot of diff serums - everything from Freida to Redken to Biosilk. They were all ok, but left my hair feeling a little oily on maybe the 2nd day. This stuff does not do that. It smells AMAZING! I use this in combo with the So Sexy Root Lifting stuff and LOVE IT!

This was my HG serum until I discovered Jonathan's anti-frizz and volumizing serum. Still, I love this stuff, and always have some around. With Jonathan's, I like to put it on my wet hair with other products and style. The VS serum is great for smoothing on when my hair is dry, or if it gets a lot of flyaways during the day. The smells is amazing, and it's also great for refreshing your hair. Plus, it's cheap enough that I don't mind buying it for only occasional use.

i love this product. my hair is very thick, long and i hate to admit it, damaged. i went to v.s. to look at the lipglosses when the sales lady told me about the shine serum and put some on my hair. (she must of spotted my hair in the crowd.) well anyways i'm glad she did because what a difference it made in my hair. i refuse to do without this. i always buy in bulks of 3 just in case.

My FAVORITE hair serum !!! victorias secret has very good quality hair products so i knew this wasnt going to let me down. It makes my hair feel so soft after i flat iron it, and shiny too. whenever my hair feels like its starting to frizz, i just rub some of this through my hair and put it up in a tight bun. Then i take it down after a while and its smooth, frizz-free, and shiny. But my favorite thing about this is the smell, like perfume but safe for your hair. When u use this in your hair you really dont even need to wear perfume. I would always get complements on how good my hair smells. Sometimes i would even rub a tiny bet between my hands and smooth it all over my body and neck because like i said before it doubles as a perfume too =)

It is an ok product. The smell is nice but kind of to much after while. It did smooth my hair but I also found it to be a bit drying.

This is an average product for me. I found it pretty lightweight which may be good news for some, but I actually can take and need a bit of weight for my coarse, thick Asian hair. Also, I didn't see too much added shine or silkiness, but it didn't dry out my hair, either. Basically, my experience and advice w/ this serum is that you should buy it if you need something that doesn't weigh down your hair and you love the fruity-vanilla-slightly-musky smell of it. I personally found it an okay scent, but I also thought it was too strong. This is good news for people who like it since it definitely lingers throughout the day, but I started getting a headache from it. Otherwise, it's okay. I'm not wowed by it, though, so I wouldn't repurchase.

Wow! I can't believe this is my hair. Soft, silky and smells so good! I have curly/wavy hair that I sometimes straighten. The texture of this product is almost like biosilk, but not as greasy in my opinion (plus this smells better!). Makes my hair look so smooth when I straighten it, like I was born with straight hair. Makes my hair look soft without weighing it down when I wear it curly. I will continue to use this with the So Sexy Shampoo and conditioner!

I loved the first bottle so much I went out and bought a 2nd one before I was even halfway done with the first. It works exactly like John Friedas serum but smells so wonderful. I used the shampoo and conditioner then smoothed some of this in while my hair was damp and let my hair air dry. The scent is strong enough that you really don't need the perfume.

UPDATE: I noticed this tends to dry my hair out. I haven't been using it much for that reason. I still think it's nice for occasional use and to make hair smell great for special occasions.

I am the kind of person who really loves hair serums. I usually use one on wet hair and then again on dry hair as a finisher or before flat ironing if I am going straight. (FYI my hair is naturally curly, fine, and thin.) I really like this serum as a finisher. It's pretty good before flat ironing too. I usually use Aveda Light Elements Smoothing Fluid for those times. I don't really like it too much on wet hair though. I will stick to my old favorite - Garnier Sleek and Shine Serum for that. This stuff smells GREAT (as everyone below me has already made clear). It's pretty cheap too and they often have sales on this stuff. Highly recommend you try it!

I am on my 2nd bottle of this and i am still loving it. everyone always complements me on how shiny and healthy my hair looks and the smell is just awesome!!!! i dont find it overwhelming or anything, but then again, it might be because i dont put a whole lot of this, really. i have thick mid-back length hair and i just put about 5 pumps of the serum on my hair.

i love that you can use it when your hair is damp/wet and it will give you the same great results when you also use it dry!

i like the glass bottle and the fact that when it is almost empty i can just unscrew the top, flip it over and the rest of the serum comes right out, no mess, no wasted product! and the fact that you can lock it so it doesnt accidentally pump out serum is nice too.

i will definitely keep repurchasing this.

I'm absolutely in love with the shampoo and conditioner from the so sexy line, so I couldn't wait to add this to my collection. I use a flat-iron almost every other day and I'm always searching for the perfect serum that doesn't make me greasy the next day and also makes my hair smooth and shiny. With this serum, I get that. Plus I love the scent. Seems to work very well with my chemistry. Vicky's always have sells, so I recommend giving this a try.
