Very beautiful soft lilac color, looks good as a wash on the lids or even as highlight.
**Tried using it as a nail polish today, the result is very nice**

this is LE so I wouldnt buy it again but I actually was going to return this..I thought Id try it a bit. Very understated pale natural looking lilac/lavender. I am not one for "doing what I should" but..with my magenta hair..its quite lovely! This is very lovely with Mutiny in the crease also!

Pretty color, but too wishy-washy, too sheer, too weak, too fleeting ....this is like the White Zin of violet based e/s. I mean that in the most scathing way. Mostly inferior and pathetic, with very few exceptions.
Cover Girl makes a few 'light' violet and lilac e/s which are much better than this.

A lovely color- sheer, pinkish lavender color with shimmer. Like others have said, it IS very sheer and makes for a gorgeous highlighter on the brow bone or on the cheeks. It's also very pretty as a base color for deeper shadows.

Well, I've always been kind of on the fence about this product. I love the color in the pot but when I put it on it is so light and I have very pale skin, I tried using a base and that helped a little but really I like to use this with goldenaire and do a very subtle sheer look I guess I'm just on the lookout for a color that is more sparkely yet in this shade of lilac. It is pretty on the cheeks when you have a purple eyeshadow look going on. I think that I just want more color and shimmer with this otherwise it is quite boring and nothing special. Good for a highlighter though.

If MAC released the Lingerie collection all over again, I so would not mind haha! This collection was one that I lusted over and still adore! Lovely Lily is a beautiful shimmery lilac; love using it with the other Lingerie shadows and lots of other purples. :D I seem to use this in every purple look I do. Love it in the inner corner/lower lashline, and as a wash or dusted over other darker purples...even use it on my cheeks or in lip gloss!

I love this pigment so much I bought it again, which is slightly ridiculous given I've barely dented the first jar but there you have it. It's a frosty pale lilac or lavender with pink. It's a similar color to Mancatcher e/s, so if you have that you probably don't need this, but I have both because I'm that much of a lilac addict. Anyway, this has great adhesion and blendability IMO, some fallout but that is inevitable, and I find it tremendously versatile--either with deeper purples/mauves for a casual look, or with taupes etc for a more work-appropriate one. Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to sit and stroke my two jars of it like Gollum in LOTR...

I got this when it came out, but never got around to reviewing it. This pigment is so pretty in the pot, but even on someone as pale as me (NW20), it barely showed up. I use a really fantastic base by Artdeco that makes colors show up true to their pots, but even THAT didn't help. I wore it with Viz-A-Violet, and an hour or two later, you couldn't even see the Lovely Lily anymore. All you could see was the Viz-A-Violet (which is a way better color).

Lovely Lily is a shimmery light pink/lavender color. It's very pretty, versatile, and blends well. I like to use it as a highlighter with pink or purple eyeshadows or as a blush. It also looks good mixed with clear lipgloss. I can't purchase it again because it was LE, but Lancome has an eyeshadow called Mauve Lustre, which is very similiar to Lovely Lily.

My friend Aimee introduced me to the wonderful world of MAC pigments. Lovely Lily is my favorite. It's not too dark and not too light. Works well with my light skin tone.
The pigments are buildable, so you can use a lot of color or just a little bit. I was unsure at first if I was going to like it, but now that I have the hang of it, it's fabulous!
$20.00 for one container of pigment is really not bad because the stuff lasts forever and you can make samples from it to share. I have actually stopped using all my regular eyeshadows because I love my pigments so much!

I recieved a sample before purchasing a FS jar as i though I would love it. I don't. Its 'ok' paired with other colours like pinked mauve and violet but i really dont reach for it often. It seems 'drier' and chalkier than most other pigments and really didn't blend exceptionally well for me. I have a basically untouched 1/2 tsp sample and i am sure it will remain that way until i find someone to give it to.

I'm not so crazy about this pigment. I never reach for this and when I do I am not quite sure what to do with it. It is a SUPER light lavender color and you probably have to wet it and pack it on for a more obvious color. Otherwise it is pretty much a dash of grape in a full jar of fairylite.
On the topside though, the consistency of this pigment is awesome. It goes on easy and blends well. Plus, it is full of pearl sparkle!

Lucky me!! another sample i got in a swap!! G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S, i'd define it as a lavender, but i'm not good w/ these definitions, great to pair w/ purple shades. Great pigmentation!

[edit] First I hated this but now I hate myself for missing this out when it was first released. I only have a sample jar which was given by my fave SA. But I'll get a full size jar from ebay as soon as possible.

I love this color! I recieved a sample in a swap and feel instantly in love with it.The pink/light lavander color makes a wonderful eyeshadow as well as a lip color. I am not a real "eye shadow" kind of person but because of the color I have started useing it. I wear infamous paint as eyeliner and this goes really nice as a shadow.

I love this color. The absolute perfect shade of lavender to used on my lids. Not too light and frosty, and not too pink. I like pairing this up with Mauvism Paint as a base and it lasts all day. Also looks gorgeous with Trax.

Lovely lily is possibly my favorite pigment! It's a gorgeous pale lilac/lavender and can be paired with almost anything. It's pretty alone as well. Too bad it's LE - i hope i never run out :]

This is way too light for my pale skin. I tried it as a 'wash" and it just looked like I had a pale shimmery eye. It's a nice color in the jar. A nice shade of very light lilac with shimmer. Can't pull it off though.

I haven't had much luck with Mac pigments, because they always end up way too bright and garish on my DDD skintone. However, I was pleasantly surprised with Lovely Lily although I admit it took a couple of tries to get this to work for me. A good primer ike Urban Decay's Primer Potion is essential to get this to apply smoothly and stay on without getting all over the place. The pretty mid-tone lilac colour has a beautiful sheen and goes well with Mac's Violet pigment or Satellite Dreams eyeshadow.
