I used to use this a while ago. Since it is so outrageously priced, I stopped buying it. But I must admit that my skin never felt or looked better than when I was using it. I like this serum more than the moisturizer. I recently used the combo lifting/intensifier and I like it alot too. But not as much as the old serum. I wish they hadn't discontinued it.

Was working well for me, then bam, breakout city. La Mer just doesn't seem to work for my combo/oily/sensitive skin. I'm not too bummed b/c this is dc'ed anyhow, and it's $$$.

I must admit, I absolutely love this stuff despite the outrageous price. It's beautifully hydrating and it defintely has some firming properties. The texture is great and it glides on beautifully and absorbs quickly. Will definetely repurchase when my pocket is jingling!

Okay...I don't actually have this...and I know it's a huge no-no for reviews. But I recently had a facial and they used La Mer Serum. My skin has been flaky and dry. No matter what i use it would flake. After my massage with La Mer Serum, my skin was glowing for a week. Imagine if I had a bottle, I'd be able to have a glow all the time. Rave. Want.

Well, sad but true, I am actually going to buy this at some point. The reason being, a sample fell into my hands and the four acne scars that shere STILL visible in my chin after using creme de la mer religiously for four months have almost gone, overnight.
Appart from that, it actually smells like it's rich in botanical and not marine stracts, it's really lovely and refreshing, smells more like Sisley stuff than creme de la mer. The price is so totally ridiculous I don't know how to afford it, but I love this thing.

Did absolutely nothing to my skin. It's a good moisturizer though but not for the price it costs

Very pricey serum from La Mer, but the price is definitely justifiable. It improved my skin clarity and suppleness after a couple use. When I put in on at night before night cream, I woke up with practically a glowing complexion.

hello again. sorry - this is very tardy post. written in conjunction with review for moisturizing lotion. this serum didn't do didley squat. not a single difference whatsoever. i used it faithfully to ever single last drop cuz of the hefty price tag but even then i had to be convinced to do so. don't wait your money. don't buy this.

Didn't do much for me and used a full 1 oz. bottle of this pricey, over-hyped stuff every night/morning until it was gone. Feels good going on, but just didn't see any of those wonderful promised results.

This really works!!! I have a deluxe sample and have been using it before my La Mer moisturizer for over three weeks consistantly (twice a day). I can't believe how much better my skin looks! I hate how much I love La Mer products. I can't afford this in it's full size (unless I totally splurge and eat Top Ramen for 2 weeks!!) I'm 30 and experienceing my best skin ever!! I get compliments all the time on my skin and barely have to wear foundation (BECCA Luminous Skin Color works beautifully with La Mer!) I've found my skin's best friends, La Mer moisturizer and this serum (the new one).

i'm not sure what the hype is about this. maybe it's for older skin? it didn't do anything for my skin but give some light moisturization. it did absolutely nothing for scars. there was nothing really objectionable but it's price. do NOT buy unless you get a sample first.

ive been using this for the past 3 days and ive seen such an improvement. i got this and the intesifier as a luxury gift with my purchase. i love it, it makes my skin feel great and look great. it does what it claims, my lil frownie lines on my forehead are disappearing and only after 3 days!! i would love to repurchase but its $285 for the serum and intesifier, which is sold together. maybe after half a year and i save up for it then ill buy it,, but for a part time worker-full time student, i can do without and just live with my awesome la mer creme. i think for the more mature skin out there, this is something you'll want to try.

Total waste for me. Didn't do anything but dry my skin out like crazy. I ended up giving it to a friend.

This was a waste to me. I see no difference in the appearance of my skin. It goes on and almost feels tacky/sticky. It didn't help improve the texture of my skin. After the tackiness wears off...the skin is smoother but no visible differences.

This is a fabulous product -- the little whiteheads along my jawline are gone and my face glows! I bought it on Ebay -- that's the only way I can afford it!

I am still so mad about my experience with this one....I went to the La Mer counter and ended up with this and the creme. The creme broke me out but I was convinced by the saleslady that I should keep using the serum. A full bottle gone (minus the good amount in the bottle not able to be captured by my ruthless thrusting of the dropper) and nothing. No radiance. nothing. If this was a 20-30 dollar waste that would be one thing, but for the amount they are asking, they should fly me on a private jet to the Estee headquarters where I should be able to kick some beauty exec in the shins if this didnt work out. Which it didnt. And so Im waiting for my ticket in the mail and cashing in pennies. I really want this one to work to.

Pros: Made my face glow, didn't clog pores.
Cons: Didn't see any improvements in skin tone or texture.
Too much money for something that doesn't give deep beneficial results.
