I love Sally Hansen's maximum growth nourishing nail polish in "crystal clear"! It leaves a wonderful shine and helps my nails grow and stregthen. I would easily compare this product to the high-priced brands. I have to admit I don't reccomend the same polish in any color (only "crystal clear"!) as I find it takes a long time to dry, making it easy to chip or dent before it is finished. The clear versions of this polish, however, have been wonderful for me (they dry much quicker as well) and it is easily one of my favorite nail products.

I always asked why do we have to spend so much on nail polishes...and it is to keep our nails healthy, strong and help prevent chips if we use colors! Then my friend suggested that Sally Hansen is a great brand to try, so I gave it a try after my first pedicure ever. I have to say that I am very pleased with results! Great stuff and highly recommended! I am down to half the bottle as we speak.

To put this simply, I was disappointed and really hated it. I wouldn't buy this again.

Love it! I only use Sally Hansen nail growth and strengthening polishes. Maybe it's because they're available everywhere, even the market. I love that you can grab toilet paper and nail polish in the same quick trip to any major store. These polishes come in such a great range of strengtheners and prices. These beat the top/bottom coats as as bottom coats because they're strengthening your nails. A cosmetologist friend of mine advised that it's ok to use clear polish all the time. The fact that I work with my hands all the time leaves me no choice as my nails were splitting constantly while on the job.

Everyone has a length of nail that they can go without splitting or chippin, even with good polish on. First, figure that out. Also, your nails will hold up well if you're getting good vitamin intake, especially calcium. Just good polish alone is not enough.

Got innocent nude in my stocking from DH. I love the color, it is a pale milky sheer. It did not streak at all, which is a miracle in this color family! I find it to be a great "I-don't-feel-like-painting-my nails color" because I can slap it on, it dries pretty quickly, IMO. It does chip within a few days, but that is not a big deal for me. I change my polish so often anyway! Will repurchase

This is my first nail polish (I bought this in "Innocent Nude" which is a pretty nude, white-ish/pale pink color) from Sally Hansen, and I'm really disappointed. The consistency is kind of thin/watery, so it dries very slowly. It probably takes like 5 minutes to dry, and even after that I'd still have to be careful with them for another 5 minutes or longer because if I accidentally poke my fingernail into one, it will dent, or if I press my the tip of my finger on a nail, my finger print will be copied onto it. It's very irritating and inconvenient as I would prefer to just slap some on and be done with it in just a few minutes like all the other ones from different brands I've used. It also takes about 3-4 applications to get the true color you see in the bottle--the first time the polish applied, it is barely visible (then again this is a light, nude color, so...). It chipped on its own without a top coat after merely a couple days, but with a top coat it is fine. The only good things about it are that the color doesn't streak, it comes in a lot of nice shades, and it's very shiny. I guess it takes practice but putting on nail polish needs not to be this much of a hassle. I don't remember the exact price, but it's probably less than four dollars. It's not worth it, so don't bother trying it.

I painted my toenails w/ this on 7/13. Today is the 24th and I still don't have 1 chip to speak of! I didn't use a base coat or a top coat, and I went camping, so... seems pretty durable to me. I got it in Tangerine Joy which is a hot coral color. I'm a little too fair for it, so I'll buy this polish again in a different color.

Bought two colors and totally wasted $6.00 - this stuff does not dry, ever!!! Ended up removing it from my nails (what hadn't wiped off during the night) and threw both bottles away. I did my nails around 7pm, sat in front of the TV all evening, 4 hours later they were still tacky. By morning they had not set at all. Maybe the drug stores sell old outdated stuff and it may have been old, (my dh says paint does that when it's old). Sticking to my Magiff nail buffing kit as it fits in with my lack of time and patience!

Just like most SH n/ps, this formula of SH n/p chips easily as well.

I bought this nail polish solely on the colour. My nails don't have a problem growing, but either way I didn't see that this had any effect on their growth. The colour I chose was #46 Warm Violet, which is an odd name as the colour is actually a medium almost coral pink. I like the colour as it shows off what's left of my tan. I find you only need two coats to get it to the colour it appears in the bottle. On my hands it lasts about a week, which isn't bad considering I work with my hands constanty in water and chemicals. On my toes it lasted 3 weeks and it could have lasted longer without chipping, but I had to take it off because I started to get an obvious line of new nail that didn't have polish on it. This is probably one of the better inexpensive nail polishes out there, just don't expect it to make your nails grow.

This nail polish chips way too much and way too soon. I got this nail polish in 44 Glorious Salmon, which is a shimmery cool-toned red. Even on the first day you apply it, the stuff starts to peel. The second day, the stuff peels even more, and a large section of your bare nails is revealed. The bottle holds .45 fl oz of polish. Unfortunately, the cap was silver, but the silver started to chip too, revealing some sort of blue underneath. Anyway, this nail polish shade was very beautiful, but chipped too soon. There are very likely other brands with the same shade but a longer-lasting formula.

I rarely find that a polish lasts more than 3 days on me without chipping, but this polish looks good for almost 7 days. My only complaint is the color range. The standard range has nothing that appeals to me; occasionally a new seasonal color display will contain an acceptable color. I would buy more of these if they had a better color selection.

I have it in Generous, which is a really light pinkish metallic shade but it jsut looks like silver when you actually paint it on. I think it dries pretty fast and it makes my nails grow faster. But it does tend to peel and chip pretty often so I would recommend a top coat. Other than that, it works well.

I have this in several neutral tan and pink colors. The choice of colors fits my tendency towards wearing neutral polish on my nails. I like them all but Vanilla Whimsy is my favortie for everyday, the perfect my nails but better color. All the neutral colors are very sheer, I definitely have to use 2 coats and it is still sheer. I feel like Max Growth wears much longer than even my OPI polish. Don't know about the longer drying time that several other reviews lamented, since I always use a polish-drying topcoat. I also didn't find this thick, goopy or streaky at all. I usually don't take too long painting my nails, I am more of a slap it on gal but it has to look good and even. No complaints from me on this one, def repurchase.

This is everything you hate in a nail polish: goes on uneven and thick, takes forever to dry, plenty of bubbles and it peels like crazy. Good thing this was free because I would be taking it back to Ulta.

My nails used to be brittle and were always breaking and peeling. But after 2 weeks of wearing this and letting the "damaged" part of the nail grow out, my nails are strong as ever. I recommend the clear nailpolish if you don't like the "streaky" aspect that others here warn about. And, if you absolutely must have colour, just put on another nailpolish over a layer of this one. I would definately buy this again.

Horrible product. I purchased Blush Charm. It went on streaky and dull and the pink was like Pepto-Bismol. Will never repurchase.

I have this color in Aura, which is a very natural milky pink. I get a LOT of compliments on this color. Other than a great color, it gives my thin, peeling nails protection. I can go an entire week with no chips or breaks. I also use the SH Rapid dry on top as a top coat. Great stuff!
