Knight Divine is truly a universal color. I have naturally really really red cheeks and pink/red skin and is warmer undertoned and I'm always scared of silvery blues because pairs with my red red undertones it either looks sick in a bad way on me or cheap, but the MUA at nordstroms suggested this color to me as i was eye-ing silver ring. So i thought why not lets give it a try. I ended up buying electra, silver ring, and this knight divine and lemme tell you i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee night divine its so beautiful and perfect for a smokey eye or a aqua/blue summery tropical eyes. Its a dark grey silver tinged with a hint of blue, not overdone or over the top but simply beautiful. Oh and fyi, i ended up returning electra and silver ring and got black tied instead to pair with my knight divine and omgosh i just love it so much..i could go on all day ahaha.. Oh yeah for reference as always I'm asian with natural dark hair (though currently blonde), brown eyes and is a NW20-NW25.

a beautiful dark silver, perfect for a shimmery smokey eye. the texture is smooth and easy to apply/blend and the pigmentation is pretty good.

This is a grey color with blue undertones. It's such a great color to smoke out a look! Works great as a line color too. If I ever run out I will definitely repurchase!

This was the only Mac eyeshadow I didn't purchase myself, it was actually a gift and I never thought I'd enjoy it as much! It's a rather dark, blue-toned grey with a luxurious sheen to it. Amazing color payoff and staying power. For brown-eyed girls too timid to wear blue in order to bring out the warmth of their eyes, this is a great "excuse" to do so, since it's a color that claims to be grey but greatly compliments brown eyes due to its blue undertones. Would (re)purchase.

Since i'm a fair blonde i don't really like black e/s on me and i consider this a lovely substitute for black in smokey eyes, on the outer v etc. i really like wearing this with purple or blue colours, also with neutrals.

I like this eyeshadow when I do a smokey eye. It goes on very dark so I put a little at a time and layer if needed. Gives that dramatic look with a nice shimmer to it. Very pretty!

This e/s is just .... meh.... Nothing special, nothing to rave about. Like other reviewers have mentioned this e/s is difficult to blend in, and it does look more boring when it's on, unless you play this with some other colours from the same scheme.

Not a bad color, but on it's own, it lacks. I expected more for it to be a Veluxe pearl, this is not very shiny and I have to scrape it with my brush to get desired color. It's just dull and grey. What's funny is, I bought this on the same day I went to Kmart and bought ELF single pan eyeshadow in Dusk. They are both dark greys, similar, and Dusk stayed on, while KD disspeared! Only looks good on me when it's paired with a matte black... otherwise, eh.

This is my go to for dark sexy eyes. I use vex on lid, Knight divine on crease, nylon on browbone. Upperlid lined in blacktrax equals perfect Smokey eyes. It is very pigmented and glides on nicely.

This is one of my go to eyeshadows. If you have dark hair and eyes, this is a good pick. It's not too shimmery and it's nicely pigmented. When I have to quickly get ready for a girls night out, late night movie, or other such excursion, I gravitate towards knight divine and carbon. Sweep this all over my lip, blend it out with my 217, carbon outer edges, then blend out. However, I don't think it's the perfect grey, at times it can look a little blue. Overall, I would purchase again.

The first item I ever received in a swap (last week!) and I lurve it - I do smoky eyes & pale lips most of the time and I use this in the crease.

It can also be built up and used and the darker lid colour.

LOVE this esp with Blacktrack! It's a blue toned dark charcoal color-beautiful on brown eyes. I feel that it is definitely more of a satin finish than a VP. Either MAC misname their finishes or they just have inconsistent finishes. Anyways, this have a blue undertone to it so don't expect a neutral charcoal.

The only reason I would not purchase this item again is simply because I have found something comparable that is less expensive.

I enjoy all MAC eyeshadows I have ever tried. This one is something that I purchased because I was just learning the smokey eye and needed something easy to work with that was difficult for me to make a mess of - this color is perfect for that, for beginners especially.

the only thing that made me rate it a 4/5 is because of its texture, BUT because of its texture its gives a soft grey wash, its perfect for that subtle smokey look :)
oh and to be honest, it IS hard to blend in, but its not a personal problem for me as i only use this e/s only with black eyeliner for a soft smoeky look

I'm so in love with this color!!I had already hit the pan after two weeks when I first got this and I will buy again and again.I love dark eyeshadows and veluxe pearls are my favorite finish from MAC.This goes on like butter and for me what I see in the pan is what I get.It goes great with so many other colors like Silver Ring,Electra,Print and of course Carbon.I can wear this so many different ways for a smoky eye.A must have in my makeup collection.

Agree totally with the review below. In the pan this looks gorgeous - but on my green eyes, it looks SO drab and makes my eyes look so dull. It's like a flat ugly grey colour. Doesn't blend that well either.

This is a let-down for me. In the pan, it looks like steel bluish grey and it's gorgeous. However, on my lids it's just a flat grey. I also found it hard to blend. I will hold on to it for now, and will revise my review if I ever wear it again, but I'm so disappointed with my first experience with this shadow.
Edit: I've given this a few more tries, and I actually started using it more as a crease colour in smokey looks. Not the best blendability though, which is so important with dark shades.

Knight Divine should be in every MAC fan's inventory. This is a dark shimmer gray that makes for the perfect smokey gray eye. I usually pair it with Electra on the inner corner and bam, you have the simplest, perfect smokey eye. It's not too shimmery where you can't wear it for work either. Whenever I wear this, I tone down my cheeks and lips. I like to wear it with pink blushes and pale lips. Definitely a keeper.

I have been on my new smoky eyes kick recently. Since I have enough makeup to fill a store, I have gone back and revisited my stash.

I bought this color sometime ago - and I did use it and love it. I still do.

The color is pure and easily applied. It is deep/dark but not black black, It works very well for daytime since it is not a sparkly color. It would be comparable to a BB shimmer wash.

This is a wonderful color for fall/winter and if applied wet will give a deeper color payoff.

Well worth the $ for this beauty.
