Not mad about this at all - although it feels quite soft and moisturising it somehow finds all the dry bits to stick to. Coverage just isn't right. Very disappointing.

I used to think this was a good foundation, back when it first came out. But now that I have tried more I find that it makes my skin look flatter than other foundation. For a moisturising foundation it leaves my skin very matte, and by the end of the day, especially if I have been working in air conditioning, my skin looks flaky in places. The Issima foundation is much better on me and makes me look more glowy and alive. This just seems like a basic foundation to me when there are others out there that nourish your skin more and leave it feeling healthier.

This would be a perfect foundation for me while I was in my 30's and my skin was mixed and oilier than now. After all, I wore Divinora foundation then, which was similar to this one. Coverage: medium, matte looking, it is not shiny and I think it is not drying for skins younger than 40. But I think that foundations for mature skin (like Guerlain Issima Anti-Age) suits me better now in my mid-forties. This looks very nice immediately after application, but it is a bit drying after some time (for me). Colors are lighter than in Issima Anti-Age range. Rose Naturel here is lighter and also more pinkish than Issima Anti-Age Rose Naturel which is more beige-rose. This one is almost too pinkish for me. Very good foundation, but if you are over 45 I recommend you Issima Anti-Age foundation. I will not buy again this foundation. (Nice packaging as the bottle is small and not too bulky, which is a often a case with Guerlain).

I just purchased this foundation the other day and I fell in love. Hands down the best foundation I've used so far for my skin tone. I am very fair and have trouble finding the perfect shade, I got the rose naturel thinking it may be took dark, but it was perfect. Gives a slight dewy glow, very buildable, and lightweight. I love the pump bottle as well. I've used high end brands, vincent longo, chanel, dior, and this far surpasses.

I love this foundation. It feels like more of a tint moisturizer for me. Very light weight. Doesn't feel sticky. The color match me perfectly (I'm the 510) even though I prefer something on the brighter side but this pair with LM primer is just perfect. It goes on super smoothly and very blendable. I can easily using just my finger. The packaging is genious! Love it for the light weight airtight plastic pump. Why don't other brands using something like this so the bottle won't break when it falls down the shelf or clank in the luggage. Also it has a nice smell.
Love everything about it and definitely repurchase!!

I bought this foundation yesterday but it left me extremely shiny!! I had to use a lot of powder on top just to get rid of the shine. I have to say though, that I think it's more the moisturizer I use under it that leaves me shiny than the foundation itself. Yesterday I wore the foundation without the moisturizer and the result was a lot better. But since I really don't want to get rid of my moisturizer (since it's really good with excellent uva sunscreen) I think I will go back to the store tomorrow to trade it for the ultra mat version. Edit: I tried it again today without any moisturizer on my face and the result is a lot better. Since there is also uv protection in this moisturizer I think I will use really little of my own moisturizer and then use this foundation on top. Updated: Okay, this foundation and me started of at the wrong foot, but I'm really starting to love this. With a little less moisturizer and a little powder on top this stuff looks good!!! One lippie extra! Another update: today I noticed that this foundation is turning orange on me! I'm afraid I will have to stick to Shiseido or Shu Uemura for my Asian skin. Too bad.

This is a nice foundation i'm a nw15 so i only use this in summer (rose naturel) and it blends perfectly with my skin it makes your skin glow and its incredebly moisterizing!
It has a spf 15 (very important!!) and offers sheer to medium coverage!
It's presented in a beautyfull gold airless bottle made of plastic so it won't break if you drop it by accident!
My results are even better when you powder it lightly with the meteorites beige chic!

This is great! I use the 520 Beige Clair wich is perfect for my MAC NC20-NC25 skin. It is pretty blendable and has decent coverage, therefore you never see neck lines. It is moisturizing and leaves your skin petal soft, does not emphasize pores and does not make my combination skin get oily. So far I've had no problems with breakouts. My skin feels pampered...Definitely a keeper.

I bought this in winter, because I want to use it instead of the semi matt foundation. This is great, I like the look, more radinat and a bit dewy than the semi matt one. I wish it comes in some light colors too. I have the rose natural and it s too dark for me. I am wering it sometimes, but I prefer for some reason (color) to wear the semi matt.
A great foundation !

I have been using Fleur de Teint foundation for a couple of weeks now and I love it. The colours available are limited and none are perfect for my fair skin; however, Beige Clair (#520) blends well and looks natural even under harsh lights - at least for the summer when my skin is slightly darker. The foundation applies beautifully and stays put for 6-8 hours without slip or discolouration although my somewhat dry skin tends to get a bit oily as the day goes on. My skin, highly sensitive and uneven in tone, has actually improved since I've been using this (I was using Philosophy Airbrush Canvas prior to Fleur de Teint)! Though the product is expensive, it's worth the price in my opinion. I removed a point for the limited colour selection and the strong scent.

I ordered this based on the great reviews here but unfortunately this did not work for my dryish winter skin, slightly oily in the summer. It showed up every single flake on my face. It does not blend easily and the coverage is light. The colour match Beige Clare for an NW20/NC20 was great, neither too yellow or too pink. I could see this working on someone with normal to slightly oily skin as it does not settle in pores. I have put this up for swap.

I have combination skin which is acne-prone with enlarged pores and some dry patches. Fleur de Teint covers almost everything and gives me a very natural, velvety look. The staying power is amazing!!! I also like a creamy texture and a rosy scent. Would almost definetely repurchase.

Updated: I forgot to mention that you can choose from a range of colours, both in yellow and pink undertones. I have it in 240 Rose Narurel, but I would buy a lighter shade in winter.

Fabulous. Awesome. I love it so much. It doesn't turn shiney, doesn't cake on my dry patches (from Tazorac). Wow. Great coverage. I ordered the lightest European shade from strawberrynet.com because I knew the 513 or whatever wouldn't be light enough for my NC15-C2 skin--the 613 or whatever I purchased is a pretty good match. As an aside, this looks amazing with the Beige Chic meteorites on my cheekbones!

This is my second review but instead of taking it back I put on fake tan then tried it. I really really like it. Not sure about the rose scent though! But it is so silky and covers pretty well too though still need concealer on my old spot scars! Would def re-by for when I put on fake tan but is def too dark for my natural skin colour. Just for reference I have it in 520 beige clair and it suits my fake nc30 skin! Im normally a nc15-20.

I recently bought this foundation in Beige Clair & I think it's definitely one of Guerlain's best so far! It feels so smooth & lightweight on my skin & yet gives the most beautiful, natural coverage. I also love the delicate floral smell which is not as strong as the usual Divinora foundations.

This is a truly wonderful foundation, what a great invention!
When I heard about this foundation, I immediately wanted to try it and I certainly was not disappointed. The finish is natural and light and really does give you a perfect, rosy complexion. I am hooked!
I also like its ingenious pump mechanism: every time you use the bottle, the mechanism moves upwards so that you can see when to replace the bottle.
Even though some prefer glass bottles, I think this lightweight bottle is perfect: a less heavy make-up bag and no chance of breaking the bottle either...

This is a very lightweight foundation with light to medium coverage. Not greasy and slightly moisturizing. I apply this with my fingers using very light pressure, almost like not touching my skin. It blends very easily and the first time I used it I used a heavier hand and didn't get a good result. I felt like it was moving around on my face and didn't cover very well.

What I like best with this is the very natural, glowy finish. Lasting power is ok.

I'm not too fond of the rosy scent. Smells a little artificial to me, but it's ok.

I might give this five lippies when I have used it a bit more, but I settled with four right now. I will probably buy again.

Update April 20, 2006:
Changed from four to five lippies. I'm loving this even more now. It's the amazing finish that does it.

Age: 56 & Over   Skin: Combination   Hair: Blond   Eyes: Hazel

Even though I might buy this foundation again, I was disappointed in it after all the great reviews. Perhaps I was expecting too much. I am 59, with unwrinkled but aging skin - still oily in the T-zone, but dehydrated on the cheeks and uneven in texture and colour. So my skin is a challenge to any foundation. I need some coverage, but anything heavy just accentuates the problems. Most of the foundations for oily skin make me look too matte, over made-up, chalky and mask-like, whereas those for regular skin don't control the oil on my T-zone. This foundation would be perfect if I could only blend it more easily. I find it dries so quickly (dragging my skin if I try to go on blending after it has dried) that I have to work on tiny areas of my face at a time. This takes forever. If I don't do this, the finished result is streaky, patchy and uneven. It LOOKS as if it should blend really easily - and the other reviewers obviously haven't had this problem - so I guess it must be my particular skin texture/hydration. Once the marathon effort of applying it is over, I have to admit that it does look very nice. Controls oil very well without looking overly matte, doesn't oxidise and change colour, smells delicious, and generally looks very flattering and fresh. Probably the best foundation I've found so far, - and I've spent a small fortune on them - barring the blending problem.
