This may be my HG! I have short Asian lashes and needed something that will hold curl, doesn't flake and cause smudges throughout the day. I have oily skin too so non-wp formulas won't work. I'm also a contact lens wearere. This doesn't add much volume but lenghtens my lashes. I love this mascara. I tried 2000 Calorie aqua and still like this one more.

I'm surprised that more people don't like this product ... this has become a staple for me, and I've repurchased it on more than one occasion.

I have lashes that tend to lose their curl, and I finally discovered that waterproof formulas help to hold the curl in place. Not only does Lash Lift hold my curl, it enhances the curl with its "lifting" action, and also thickens them beautifully (I basically need help in all lash areas LOL). I've experienced no flaking or clumping, and because it volumizes my lashes so much, it's taken over my #1 mascara spot, bumping Maybelline's Sky High Curves to #2 (still fab, but MF thickens more).

For me, this is lash perfection (LOL, the irony is that MF's Lash Perfection was horrible on me!).

Clumpy/gooey, doesn't dry very quickly.
Then flakes ALL DAY LONG.
Ick.

I also got this for dirt cheap as part of the Max Factor sale. I think this may be my HG drugstore mascara! You have to brush it on really quickly and you cannot let it dry between coats (it will clump). I do one eye at a time and I brush, brush, brush it on until my lashes are va-va voom! The waterproof version most definitely lifts my asian lashes and it adds volume and length as well. The non-waterproof version is worthless (separate review). It can be a bit hard to remove but I use a oily eye-makeup remover so it's not too bad.

Im always looking for the perfect mascara. Ive tried from very expensive ones to the cheapest. Max Factor Lash Lift Waterproof really made a difference. Its true that your eyes look open, vibrant. At least thats what it made for me, Ive tried also strech and separate waterproof from max factor too,and it gaves a great look, but different, it gives volume and separate your eyelashes. What Lash Lift does is make them longer, its a true lift. I love this mascara and I will repurcharse it again.

I love the regular version, so I was delighted when I saw that MF now has LashLift in a waterproof version. This waterproof version is not nearly as good as the regular version! It's true to it's name - nothing takes this stuff off for me, and it does flake off through out the day. It was a pain to get off, and my eyelashes felt too hard, crunchy, very dry, and was breaking off while trying to remove it, so I just hated it. Also the formula does not layer nicely at all. This waterproof version doesn't give the same effect of fanned out lifted lush lashes like the regular version. My lashes looked thin, wimpy, and spidery no matter how much I layered it on. It's not nearly as good as the regular non-waterproof version which is my holygrail mascara, and I absolutely adore it. Even though the regular version is not waterproof - it's very water resistant, so I am going to stick with that one. It works better than the waterproof version. Don't waste your money. This WP version doesn't have the same magic. I will stick to the original non-waterproof Lash Lift formula. That one works way better!

I was looking for a nice waterproof mascara to wear in Florida later this summer. I looked to Lash Lift Waterproof as a possibility. With the original (non-waterproof) version of Lash Lift, it gave a nice look but caused black shadow-like mascara smudges under my eyes as the day wore on. I figured that the waterproof version would NOT do this. However, the waterproof version performed oddly and I ended up throwing it out. First, I felt that the waterproof formula was more dry than the non-waterproof fomula. It took many, many layers to get my lashes to look like I had anything on them, and layering was difficult because this formula dried fast. When I finally had it on as I liked, it provided a wide-eye look that was nice. No thickness, but length. However, at the end of the day, under my lower lash line were two dark circle-shadow smudges. I do not wear mascara on my bottom lashes, so these circles were from the mascara flaking off my top lashes. Raccoon eyes! This formula was indeed waterproof, oddly, as my normal face wash did not take it off, and eyemakeup remover was required. But if it smudges/flakes off, as this did, it is of no use to me.
