This is surprisingly small for the price. It is actually a more or less clear gel although I had been under the impression that it was tinted. I have very fair brows and it does absolutely nothing to colour them in at all so I just use this on top of my regular brow powder,just to tame them into place. I could just as easily do it with petroleum jelly, and cheaper too.

In the past I have bought Boots No 7 Lash & Brow Perfector. I don't know if they still do it but if they do it's a much better buy because it's a very similar product and about three times the size. Both come with a mascara-type brush in the lid to apply with.

I really like this product - esp the tint - it makes my dark eyebrows look groomed all day. I also like the fact it's a quick and easy 2 in 1 (gel and tint) product to use.

Speed brow is right. Quickly styles and sets my brows in place and holds them there all day. Love the slight tint as well.

I love this brow gel its my absolute favorite it makes my brows look perfect and keeps them straight and in place all day I also really like the slight tint it provides as well

I adore Speed Brow. My eyebrows are reasonably low maintenance, the only care I give them is the occasional plucking of a few stray hairs. They're also not typically unruly... but this product just makes them look that much more elegant. I love it.

The only reasonably minor flaw that I've found is, like mascara, you need to wipe off the applicator brush every so often because it gets kind of gunky. But I don't find that too big of a hang up. Overall, I recommend it, even if you don't think your brows need it!

This stuff is just AWESOME especially for those who don't pluck their eyebrows much, I haven't ever did mine but this magical thing makes them look ever so perfect! Mine's in clear, the best part is that they stay put in that shape the whole day! I've had several comments from friends asking whether I've plucked them or not :) The gel does leave just a bit of a "hard" feeling on my brows.. but that's okay it's not TOO much. I am a little 'hmmm' about the price though, it's such a tiny 'bar' (the size of a index finger) and I didn't think that was really worth the price. It's small size does have it's advantages as you could take it anywhere with you - it looks so cute!

I tried this a few months ago instore. It felt like I had loaded hardening gel on my brows. I saw they'd made new packaging for it quite recently so I thought I'd give it another try. My brows are really long. Longer than my eyelashes, so they mess up really easily. When I use this they stay in shape really well and it doesn't feel like I've loaded gel in them either :)
EDIT: I don't use this anymore and won't be trying it again.

This is a hard product to review because the price plays a huge factor for me. I purchased the clear version because I already have dark browns, using a tint would only make them look blotchy.


PROS: (1) keeps my browns neat and soft (2) no break outs on my acne prone skin (3) shelf life of one year once opened


CONS (1) $25 CND for 0.10 oz/ 3g (2) the brush is awkward on brows, my brows are full and I thought it was tough to use, imagine if they are thin. The brush needs to be smaller with more tightly packed bristles.


Despite how nice this product is, I can’t justify dishing out $25 on a mere brow grooming gel, $25- I don’t even spend that much on a mascara, let alone a pinch of gel! Therefore I will give this product a 3 star rating because the price does not reflect the quality. I noticed that this has be come an ongoing trend with BeneFit, they are beginning to over charge for their beauty products without increasing the quality. As far as I am concerned they are the equivalent to most drugstore products, just with prettier packaging and better marketing strategies.

I have this in the only color it comes in for everyone. It looks brown in the package but goes on very clear like with a hint of color, very slight. I really like this as it holds my brows very very well and helpes them stay in place and I am sure helps keep my pencil on when I do pencil them up with a makeup day. The one and only gripe I have about this is the amount you get is so darn small. I would like a little more for the price. Also the brush on this is better than any others I have used. I will continue to use this unless something better comes along.

I have this in clear. I think its a great essential basic product. You can't tell you have this on your eyebrows, they just look neat. This keeps my eyebrows in place throughout the day and the little brush is great for clean application.

I love this product and use it on a daily basis. It have naturally round eyebrows and this gel helps give them a nicer defined shape. I have it in light brown and find that the shade matches very well with my hair.

Got this is the light brown shade as a gift. great for keeping in my everyday makeup bag. Keeps brows lovely and shaped and not too dark for my light brows. Dont know if id purchase myself as its a bit pricey but am happy enough with it :)

I could understand the success of many people using the clear gel, but I got the med to dark brown gel & it truly sucks. It is one of the worst ways to spend $30 for a little tube. The things that annoy be about this product is that too much product gets on to the brush and it does not apply well. The product gets onto my skin and it becomes very hard and flaky. Its overall messy.... I am a fan of other Benefit products though, just not this one.

I have mixed feelings about BeneFit overall but I love this product. I cannot live without this in my makeup bag! I have tried many brow gels and this is my HG. I use the clear version, which shapes my brows beautifully and they stay in place all day. I have received a lot of comments on my brows. Yes it does leave them a little hard but you can't have it all. The only disadvantage is the tiny amount you get - I use this almost every day so I have to repurchase every 4-6 weeks but it's a price I'm willing to pay as it's the best brow gel for me.

works great to give you're eyebrows some color. I have the medium brown one.
However you gotta be careful. One slip and you'll get it all over your face and have to re-do your make up again.

but i dont think it works well for people with sparse eyebrows.

It's a real shame that this stuff didn't work for me.

I was hoping it would be the answer to my prayers but alas no. I went everywhere to find the brown version and when I did I found that I had to scrape a lot of product off the brush before I applied it. When I did apply it it flaked and I definitely didn't over apply.

The other thing (that isn't benefits fault) is that I have very sparse brows and find it really hard to get it on the hairs i DO have without getting it on the skin. It's a shame but it just doesn't do anything for me at all. I would be better off using a dried up mascara wand. Perhaps if there wasn't so much product all over the brush it woudln't be so bad.

The price is also crazy for the amount you get.

Well, I've always had a problem with my brows. They are way too full, dark and long. Now I trim it, but it is still quite full. So, now that I've discovered Speed Brow (which I have in the 'clear' color), I don't have a problem anymore, since this product manages to hold all the hairs in my brow into place. To me, this is a must. It's a shame that the package is too small, but I'll probably buy this one again. UPDATE: After I lost my Speed Brow, I decided to try MAC Brow Set and switched to that one for good, since its lasting power is longer. However Speed Brow is still pretty great. Keeping 4 lippies.

i bought this in clear a while ago. i tried on one of the tinted ones but it was too dark so i decided to go with clear. at first i loved it. my eyebrows are on the longer side (i should really look into trimming them) and it helped to hold them into place. my problem with it though is that its too small! i used it up so fast and i price is kinda ehh. i now use mac's version which is like a dollar cheaper and bigger. it works just as well or even better.

This is the worst brow gel I've ever used. I have fairly thick, dark brows that don't ever need pencil or anything, so I only use clear gels. Speed Brow doesn't hold well at all, the brush is pretty awful and cheap and the container is TINY, so you go through it really fast. I'd rather not use anything on my brows than this.

This brow gel is phenomenal! I don't trim my brow hair since they are very sparse but if I don't use a brow gel to "style" my brow hair in place (so that they look fuller where needed) then the shape I create after coloring them in is disturbed. What I love about this is that it really holds your brows in place ALL DAY (some others I have tried have just made the hairs hard but don't stay put) and yes, it does have some "hold" so some might think it's like hairspraying your brows, but it keeps them right where you styled them to be that morning! I think I'm going to stick with the clear since I got one of the tinted last time and if the color gets on your skin, it looks artificial and needs to be rubbed off right away.
