I agree with the previous reviewer in that the product is probably better for those with dry skin. This made me break out, despite the salesperson's assurances that it wouldn't. Very expensive and, in my opinion, not worth it.

I guess this product is for normal to dry skin only. For combination skin, in the beginning, it covers okay, then it sort of spots because of the oil in my skin and in the product. Also, for the first time in months, it made me break out. Not to mention the $56 price tag. Stay away from this one if you have combination/oily skin. Vincent Longo or Princess Borghese Molto Bella are much better for your skin!

wonderful, amazing product that i would use on its own if i could, but alas - i need more coverage on some scarring and must supplement this with chantecaille's new stick concealer. that said, i think this is the best, most natural looking foundation i've ever tried. echoing prior reviewers, it is not an unnatural matte but is slightly dewy. for my asian skin, 'warm' has been a beautiful match, and wearing it i feel as if i've just arisen from a sustaining, decade-long nap!

This is my favorite foundation. I have been using it for over a year. It gives me just enough coverage, yet lets my own skin *show* through. Very natural looking. People comment all the time that they can't believe I don't wear any foundation (but I do! I wear this one everyday!) It is expensive, but everytime I try something cheaper, I always come back to this as nothing has lived up to this one. Plus, I love the SPF 30! I wear the shade *Fresh* and its perfect for my very fair skin. I agree with a reviewer below, that it is best to apply this with a foundation brush (I use one by Prescriptives) instead of the sponge that comes in the compact.

I LOVE this foundation. As an Asian with dry and extremely sensitive skin, I feel that Chantecaille Real Skin in Glow is MY shade. Last week at Lunar New Year's family reunion, ALL of my 5 uncles said I looked very healthy and radiant. Well, they did not know part of the reason was Chantecaille!

I can't say enough good things about the Chantecaille line of cosmetics. First, they use a high percentage of natural ingredients, and second, they are on top of the latest technology when it comes to effectiveness of product. Case in point- Real Skin SPF30; this product provides not only safe sun protection with a natural sunblock, it looks beautiful on. It provides medium coverage, has no discernable fragrance, and creates a glowy, somewhat matte finish. I bought it in "Fresh", their lightest shade, and it works perfectly on my very pale skin. Truly great product!

I just bought this product in glow, and love it (so far). Since I don't usually like to wear foundation this is perfect. It's very light and moisturizing, and the color blended perfectly. The sheer-to-medium coverage is exactly that -- enought coverage to even out color, but light enough to not make you look like you have foundation on (it should be applied with a brush, not with the sponge that it comes with). It has a nice satin finish and the spf30 is an added bonus. Lasts all day too! The only down side is the price $56 at Neiman Marcus.

I purchased this makeup because of rave reviews...but I'm not impressed with it..its expensive and the color selection is not that great..The packaging is cute as it comes with a purple satin pouch...but this product is to sheer and transulcent and felt greasy on my skin just a few hours later and I looked all shiny and wet..the sponge that comes with the makeup is terrible...it soaks most of the product up...so I use my fingers to spread the creme on my face...I just didn't have luck with this makeup

Since most tinted moisturizers I have tried feel a bit "heavy" I tried this from my pal at the Chantecaille counter- and I just love it!! The coverage is sheer, but blends evenly...as others here have noted, this is best for those not looking to cover too much. I don't have perfect skin (used to sun tan too much) but it has a kind of fading effect on some freckles/sun spots. It has a dewey effect right now because of the humid summer here in the NW. I originally used Laura Mercier's TM but this is much sheerer, better color match (Rich- for my olive/yellowish skin) and way too expensive for such a small amount. Maybe if chantecaille could start selling their products at other places besides neiman marcus they could probably make more money and lower their prices. But this is great for sheer, smooth, less-than-foudation look for thos with little to no skin problems.

I totally regret buying this foundation. I read some rave reviews (and not so rave) here and thought well it has SPF 30 in it and it's nearing Summer, maybe I should give it a try. I like light-medium coverage foundations (Future Skin, TM - Even Skin, and GA LSF) but this is really bad. First, I was told by the MA that it is kinda matte (similar to Chante's FS foundation) and it is totally not even close to matte. It is more dewy(or sticky) than FS. The MA suggested applying this with a foundation brush (I used my Chanel one) to get a light-medium coverage. Anyway, yes, it will provide a light coverage (not medium) and did a fairly good job evening my skin tone, however, it seemed a bit hard to spread to get an even finish. I think the high SPF makes the foundation hard to apply or look funny. My face didn't look glowing (or have seamless coverage) with this at all! I am gonna call the MA and send this puppy back!! For reference, I purchased the "Bliss" color and while slightly too dark, was a good light/medium yellow based color for me.

I waited so long for this...finally a nice MUAer CP it for me from the US...Thanks to her she did:-)because I'm glad I got this. First time I try a compact foundation, this one is excellent, very creamy and smooth. Sufficient coverage for me, and I like the little sponge and mirror that goes with it. It has a good staying power, last all day, just doesn't like humidity. Just one thing, the color is not right and make me a little paler than I am (it's fresh), next time I'll try a darker shade. This is, too, a must to try.

This is the lightest foundation that gives evens out my skin a little. It does not provide much coverage at all, just gives a slightly more finished look. The only foundation I reach for.

Feels great on your skin, nice and light, emollient enough that it doesn't dry out your skin. Excellent consistency that allows you to control how much coverage you want. You can use a foundation brush or sponge to apply. A very nice natural look.

**UPDATE** This product now turns orange on my skin. Oompa loompa orange. Don't know what they did to their foundations but they are NOT the same. Ugh.

Great product from the mother/daughter duo. I have this in Fresh and it is a very good match. I wish they would bring this shade to their other foundation/concealor products. Goes on smoothly and works beautifully with the compact powder foundation; giving me flawless skin. If you need a lot of coverage, this isn't for you. It's for those who have great skin, plain and simple. Does not leave my skin greasy or dry, does not settle in to a lines. The spf30 is fantastic! If you must have a sunscreen (and I do!), this is a must have foundation.

Am in love. This has definitely got HG potential, I love the sheer coverage, it evens out skintone without shouting 'mask!'. The coverage and consistency of this is more like a tinted moisturizer than crème foundation. My skin is a tad on the dry side, but this is non-drying, super smooth, it doesn't cake and I absolutely adore the natural dewy finish. Also the SPF30 is just a huge bonus. Will be a stable from now on.

This product made my dry skin break out. It also provided little, if any coverage. I purchased it because I really like the other chantecaille products and the packaging is great -- however I was very disappointed.

I am such a sucker for products with hype, and i am happy to say this one lives up to it!! It has a beautifully smooth, sheer texture, with slight coverage, but looks very natural, even in direct sunlight (a definite plus!!). The spf is also great, and the compact is very cute! I Love Chantecaille!!

I am in love with this foundation!! I have been searching for the perfect foundation for as long as i can remember and i finally found it. It's suuuper sheer, so this is not for those who want full coverage or those that want to hide zits and scars...All it will do is even out your skin tone, hide pores, and give u a radiant and dewy finish. Perfect for those who hate the foundation look. I love the packaging too!!

i may have ended my quest to finding the perfect foundation!!! For those who don't want coverage but just want to even out skintone and hide the pores, this is the perfect product. i hate the "foundation" look.. I looked at my skin outdoors in broad daylight with a magnifying mirror and didn't see ANY foundation remnants... Just clear, even, poreless skin... Again, this is not for those who want to cover up blemishes or scars. And i loove the purple pouch it comes in!
