Well Taboo just doesn't do anything for my DDD/cooltoned complexion. Great quality as with all of the Crystal Glosses. Maybe they would work better on a warm-toned complexion; MMM or GGG. So I have a couple BN sealed up for swap.

I've only just discoverd the Milani line while on vacation in the Hawaii and I'm in love with their glosses! I would have never picked up this colour generally but because the price was so cheap I figured I had nothing to lose. It's a beautiful YYBB natural plum w/golden shimmer...perfect for my MMM complexion. It's not super shiny but just adds enough pizazz to my lips.

This is so beautiful!! I can't believe I never found it every time I picked up a tube of secret, I like this much more than secret! Everyone has already described the color, but I have to say I'm very picky about lipcolor and I adore this, it just might be my HG. It also makes my lips look and feel more plump, not sure why. I smell cookie dough, which after a while can turn kinda bad, so it's a good idea to keep these fresh. They're so cheap, why not!!

this is a small gloss with a flocked applicator that is basically the color of my highly-pigmented lips (nudish-pink) with little gold shimmers. sadly, it is only semi-shiny. it is non-sticky, but feels very heavy/greasy. vanilla scent. beautiful on my cool PPP skintone, brown hair and eyes.

This gloss has a very nice smooth texture and has decent staying power on me. It's glossy, but not too glossy, so I think it is still office appropriate. It has the same scent as the other crystal glosses, a sweet vanilla smell that doesn't last too long. It is a sublte rosy nude on me (I'm a med toned chinese) and it's the gloss I reach for when I can't decide what to go with. Very versatile, and will give a simple polished look on non-makeup days and also works in contrast to heavier eye makeup, and as a neutral office gloss. I always keep this and the Whisper in my purse. However since I got the Taboo, I don't use the Whisper nearly as much anymore though I still love it.

I can see myself using this every day. So far, my daily lipstick (when I wear lipstick) is Clinique's tenderheart...and this is basically a lipgloss version of that color, with low gold shimmer (not noticable in the tube, but it's there on your lips). This is such a beautful color, though it looks rather boring in the tube: mauve/brown w/ a touch of gold shimmer. It lasts longer then most lipglosses, and isn't at all sticky--which is goodl since I hate sticky glosses. It's highly pigmented, but only slightly darker then the natural color of my lips, so when I wear this, it looks perfectly natural. I would definitely repurchase--and probably with backups, since I can see myself going thorugh this very quickly. *UPDATED* Took a lippie off because I do smell that awful burnt scent now. I cover it up with 2 drops of lavender essential oil

I, too, bought this on impulse coz: 1. the packaging is cute 2. its small size is perfect for me (since I found most lipglosses are in "too big" sizes). The color is exactly like other reviewers said - a very natural pink brownish with very soft gold shimmer in it. I'm impressed with how nice this gloss looks on my lips - not too glossy but just perfect. Creamy consistency with no stickiness whatsoever, coupled with a light vanilla scent. Perfecto!

I bought this on impulse mainly for its looks--cute, mini tube and pretty color--never thinking it would actually look good on me. My first thought when I put it on was how similar it is to Cover Girl WetSlicks in feel. The gloss has more of a cream consistency and is not sticky at all with a faint vanilla scent. The shade is exactly how everyone describes it though I would add that there IS a hint of gold shimmer, which I find very pretty. This is a gem of a gloss for $3! *Update* I finally smell the burnt plastic smell other reviewers have mentioned. It really does smell like burn plastic!

This is basically MAC Lust lipglass, a pinky-mauve with just enough brown to make it neutral--very MLBB with no shimmer and lots of shine. Has the same creamy, not-too-sticky texture, faint baked goods scent, lack of taste and low price point (around 3 USD) as the other Crystal Glosses. These are pretty small, but I actually like that as they are easy to slip into a pocket or wee bag and their size also means I can actually use up a gloss once in awhile. Would repurchase.

HG lipgloss. Cannot be without this one. Perfect brownish nude pink with very little shimmer. More of a cream gloss look. Lasts a long time and doesn't dry my lips out. For $3.00, it's a godsend. I switch from warm to cool makeup shades and this one works with both looks.

I bought this for a natural lipgloss, the color is a rich brownish-nude color. It looks really dark in the bottle, but it applies very lightly. It has a decent smell, which is like vanilla batter, or white cake. It's a shame they can't extend that fragerance to thier other lipglosses. I really love this, when my lips need a bit of natural color during the day.

Absolutely beautiful color. Might be my HG l/g!!! A pink/brown/mauve, very YLBB - much better :) Planning to return to Walgreen's to buy 3 more. At $2.99 a pop, I can afford it! Generally I love department store products, but this has changed my mind.

This is a good MLBB shade since I hardly have any pigment - in my lips. It gives me a needed boost in color without being too bright. The shade reminds me of Mac's Viva Glam V gloss minus the sparkle. I agree with the other reviewers that the smell is not so great. It reminds me of melted plastic, but for $2, it's not unbearable. The small size makes it super portale and convenient. This is the only color in the line that looked like it might work for me. I have NW20 skin, hazel eyes, light brown hair with some highlights. It's a keeper for now...

Lol, I love PoisonedIvy's description of Taboo's scent as "moldy butt"!! Fortunately, I don't smell that; Crystal glosses have a vanilla cake batter scent to me, and I really like them (I guess scents are very YMMV--basically depends on the person!) Anyway, Taboo is a GORGEOUS color, a lovely YLBB pink-mauve lipgloss. Love the Crystal Gloss slightly sticky texture, and I find it fairly long-lasting. Price is great...3 bucks, and I got it on sale for 2! I also love the portable packaging, great for sticking in a pocket or any purse size. I use this one a lot, definite repurchase!

First, this color is great. It's a perfect pigmented nude YLBB, with a hint of shimmer. The color lasts quite a while, though the glossiness isn't very lasting (or very apparent on application really). My problem with this gloss is the smell. I truly can't deal with it. Moldy butt, that's what it smells like to me. Intensely so. Worse than the other Crystal Glosses I have, which all have an undertone of moldy butt. Simply can't wear it. The color is great, and the texure is so-so.
