Goodness gracious. I recieved a large decant in a swap, and this literally smells like mildew. I thought it might have just been my nose so I put some on and walked around the house. My SO asked what stunk so bad. Try before you buy! The bottle is pretty, but blech!

I received this as a sample in a swap. I really like this sweet flowery fragrance. It dried down nicely on me and was longer lasting than many fragrances I have tried. I gave the packaging a 3 just because I haven't seen the actual packaging itself as I got this in sample form. Based on the size of the product (got information on this from Sephora.com) the price seems about right compared to other fragrances. The one thing that is a little troubling to me is that this smells almost exactly like another fragrance I am familiar w/but I just can't put my finger on which one. Oh well, perhaps it will come to me and I will update. I would purchase this fragrance as I quite like the way it smells on me.

Can't say I'm a big fan of this scent. Mind you when I first tried it on Sephora I thought it was great and had to have it. Now that I do...not to crazy about it. Pretty strong and its not a perfume to wear everyday. Seriously, this is good for a summer night out.

I'm usually a sucker for foody-sugary-vanilla fragrances, but Midnight Bloom caught me off guard. To me, this evokes a certain mysterious, sensual, calming night....a romantic rendezvous by the lake with a certain soulmate underneath a full moon and twinkling stars. I love it, and I am so happy to have the full bottle in my arsenal now! The staying power is not that bad, and the packaging design is absolutely gorgeous and very much fits the overall allure of the fragrance to a T. The gardenia is dominant in this fragrance, but a certain warm spiciness that intermingles with the florals emerges after it lingers on my skin for a few hours, encapsulating me in full "midnight bloom."

Sephora gave me a little sample and I fell in love. IN LOVE. Everytime I wear it I get compliments, everyone loves it. It's light and refreshing and my favorite!

OH MY MAKEUP G-D. This smells so so so so good. I normally wear and swear by Burberry Brit, but once I tried Midnight Bloom, I decided to give Brit a bit of a break. It smells incredible, and isn't too powerful at all. Amazing.

A very relaxing fragrance, that yes one would wear in the evening, and taking a stroll with a handsome man. Hmmm I think it's a little generic and expensive, I like the jasmine, but there's no uniqueness, plenty of scents can invoke the night.

Gardenia, amber, spices, musk, vanilla maybe. All mixed in together. Nice but nothing to get excited about. Starts off too strong, dies down to nothing pretty quickly.

Gardenia doesn't work for everyone, and some people just plain hate it. For me, gardenia is heaven and Midnight Bloom smells great. Grown-up gardenia that dries down to a lovely soft, sweet, spicy gardenia. I think I'll have to try it a few more times to make a final judgement, but as of now I'm enjoying it. UPDATE: Still nice, but still not fbw. There are several better gardenia fragrances out there.

I happen to like this fragrance! I'm on a sandalwood kick so this scent is really appealing to me. When I first put it on, I think of gardenias wrapped in slight aroma of milk chocolate. After a couple of hours, I smell warm sandalwood and amber with a hint of sugar sweetness. The scent reminds of Olay's Ohm in Sandalwood and Chamomile.
Maybe it's just my body chemistry but I don't get a straight gardenia scent. I love the sweet smell of gardenias but I wouldn't classify Midnight Bloom as a white floral but more of a warm spicy smell.

I'm a big fan of Stila, but I'm kind of disappointed with all its fragrances. Got a friend to buy this even before it was introduced here. This one does smell better than Stila's previous 2 fragrances, but no way am I going to buy this again! Like what others had mentioned, it's too 'gardenia', not my kind of scent!

Ack, the dreaded gardenia strikes again! If you like this, you should try Sonia Kashuk No. 1 at Target, because they are very similar and SK is quite affordable and you can sometimes get lotion and candles in the fragrance. That PSA aside, I really dislike this, but I'm a known gardenia hater, so that's no surprise. I probably should have looked up the notes before I sprayed it on my body.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I really like this scent. I love gardenias, though, (Marc Jacobs, Fracas, etc.) and I like the blue bottle. My only complaint is that there is no shower gel, etc. to go with this, and the staying power could have been a little better.

HORRIBLE, headache-inducing fragrance. I couldn't wash this off fast enough and it wouldn't go away. On me, this did not fade at all. It is a very strong fragrance smelling heavily of musk.

I usually don't care for stila but I found this perfume very beautiful. I'm a big fan of gardenia but this smells like a very altered form of gardenia, very mixed in with vanilla or something very warm. Smells just like a warm summer night. The lasting power is not great but I'm not surprised since nothing lasts on me.

I find this one easy to describe. A very heady gardenia, with the smallest hint of fig. For me, it's way too much gardenia.

A lovely fragrance, but it lasts about a minute on me! It's like spraying on water! Won't buy this again.

I love this pefume...I prefer it over all the other Stila fragrances. It has notes of gardenia, sweet fig, sandalwood, and golden amber. It is a lightly scented fragrance and smells beautiful. Me and and my sisters are all crazy about it. The staying power is so-so...if it lasted longer, it would get five lippies. EDIT: After a few months of wearing this, I really can't stand it. I guess I didn't realize before what a boring, headache-inducing scent this is.

There's nothing special about this one. I have a sample of this and it smells like any old vanilla based musk perfume. The staying power is so so. I'll pass this one up.

Midnight Bloom is a nice, sweet, girlish fragrance. I really like this powdery, vanilla floral.
