I have been waiting forever to write this review and have finally been using this product for a good 7 weeks, only at night.
the price was not too bad; i picked it up for $AUD 14 on ebay, and compared to other lash doubling/enhancing products this was a great price!
the packaging is sturdy- the bottle is made of glass with a screw cap and a mascara wand. the liquid is a cream colour.
when you apply it to your eyes, it does not sting or make your skin discolour. I find sometimes though if a lot of product gets in my eyes it hurts for abit, then my eyes go watery and flushes it out, then my eye feels fine.
i havent noticed a huge difference in length, just a little bit. i had short stubby lashes at the outer V of my eye, and this serum helped it grow out to the normal length that the others were. I had false eyelashes and many of them were pulled out and short. this made a difference and they have all grown out to the same length.
i also believe that this product has made my bottom lashes grow just that little tiny bit. thickness has improved too.
overall this product worked for me- i was just after something to condition my eyelashes after my flase ones and this definately did the job. i would purchase again.

I love this! I was hesitant to purchase it because I had never heard of the company. I started applying to my lashes nightly about 3 weeks ago not expecting much... Within a week I could see a difference! My lashes look healthier, fuller and longer. I have noticed I lose A LOT less lashes when I remove my mascara now... I'm also noticing new lash growth.

IMO this stuff is amazing, especially for the price, you can't go wrong!

My husband even commented on how long my lashes look the other day!

I was recommended this product by a friend when I noticed her eyelashes had become freakishly long (she is Asian). I should mention that I'm also Asian but I've been blessed with naturally long upper-lid lashes but sparse lower lashes and I was hoping the Double Lash would help me grow more lashes on the top and bottom (not necessarily grow them longer). I was finding that I had a quite a few lashes falling out when I rubbed my eyes (probably shouldn't been doing that) and removed eye makeup. This has resulted in large gaps between lashes on my lower lash line and I was desperate to find something to remedy this.

Within one week of using it, I noticed that little hairs had started growing in my lower lash line and I was super excited that the product was working so quickly. I've been using Double Lash for just over a month now and while I don't think it has made a difference to my upper lashes which were pretty long and thick to begin with, it has made a huge difference to my lower lashes which have never looked better! They are longer, thicker, more filled in and my top and bottom lashes don't fall as out as much as they used to before when removing eye makeup.

I can understand why some people say that they were getting eye infections with this product because I started growing little styes on my upper water line which luckily did not grow out of control and went away by itself. I think applying the product from the top (as opposed to applying from underneath) makes lessens the chance of getting the product in your eye.

I bought this off ebay for $9 with free shipping. The packaging is pretty bleh but hey, if it's that cheap and it works I won't complain!

I love this product and will continue to buy it!

This stuff is amazing. Cannot believe something so easy to use and so well priced WORKS so well!
I avoided the other v v expensive 'medical' lash stimulators as some are known to change the colour of your eye.
So this stuff is great. I just apply it to my lashes at night, a good coating, and after 3 weeks of nightly applications my lashes are thicker, crazy longer, and i have lots of new ones where others have fallen out and not grown back.
Ive also been applying this to my eyebrows as I am guilty of having overplucked - the growth here is amazing, patchy in some places, but that is the nature of eyebrow growth, so thats ok.
In short, i will be definitely repurchase if i actually need to, and am thrilled with this little gem - it actually works!

this is a good vitamin for your lashes! if you use regularly it would show the result by a month. unfortunately i'm too lazy to put this every night sigh.

I have been using this for many years. I have found when I run out or not applied for a few days, my lashes are not as conditioned. In addition, my mascara does not apply as smoothly. I have noticed my lashes were a bit longer but nothing dramatic. I highly recommend this product!

the product is really great ..... my lashes became a little bit longer but on the other hand very very thick ........ u can clearly see the difference ..... i've used it 2 weeks and i can see the difference .... maybe i can see it so early because i haven t used mascara in this period ..... and i applied it i the morning and in the evening ....

I'm on my third bottle of this stuff. I used to use it every now and then, and now I keep it on my bedside table so I remember to put it on before going to bed. I thought that my lashes were a bit fuller and tiny bit longer, but the real difference that I noticed is when I didn't get to use for a week or so, till my order arrived. To me this is very comparable to the L'Oreal lash serum, same consistency, although the L'Oreal one seems to be a bit more watery, which I like.

I once got eyelash extensions that ruined my natural lashes. I bought this because I'm desperate to get my lashes back to what they used to be like. I know I should use it everyday but sometimes I forget. However, even though I don't use it daily, I have noticed a dramatic difference in my lashes! They look longer and fuller. Sometimes I'll even wear this under my mascara as a sort of conditioning primer.

I would highly recommend this product to anyone!

I could see a difference in my lower lashes within a week. I've been using it for nearly a month now and there is a visible increase in length on my top lashes as well. The new growth seems darker, but maybe not thicker, I'll have to wait longer to judge that. My sister asked what mascara I'd switched to because my lashes were looking "insanely long" lately.

I'm 15 and in love with this product , even if it doesn't have any active ingredients so i've read , well what can i say it worked out for me , i use it every day and never forget to put it on i even put Vaseline it also helps to grow and thickens the eyelashes , i have super long eyelashes naturally but they went even tremendously longer with this either use mavala or vaseline , my eyelashes are to die for when they are with mascara , my friends always say that my eyelashes are humanly impossible haha couldn't agree more and i've got big brown eyes that make it work and plus i curl them like to the max and i always do , best to curl your eyelashes with shu uemura eyelash curler for the best curl in the world and if you've got long eyelash flaunt them with a curler :)

I used it for my eyebrows because after epilate them too much, it helped the hair to grow back. I apply every night and it helps the hair keep it place. gives sine to it! glossy finish too, really work!

Considering this product costs around the £10 mark, and actually works - even if it doesn't work to the same level as Latisse, Lilash or the other hardcore options (none of which I've tried), I can't give it any less than five well-deserving lipsticks. I mean - Mavala does actually lengthen lashes, and that is something I had thought was impossible.

They've not become obscenely long, but in the three weeks or so that I've been using this, and may I add, I've not been hugely consistent, I have noticed a definite increase in length. My lashes are naturally rather boringly average - they can look nice with mascara, but I wouldn't get compliments on having long lashes or anything. When I look at my lashes from the side they do seem longer - no, they ARE longer. It's incredibly subtle, but any growth is much appreciated.

Great product for the price. Doing research on other products its also made with natural ingredients because it comes from Switzerland and its illegal to make any beauty products from chemicals, which is awesome because I was worried that my eyes would get irritated since I were contacts..... no irritation at all. I gave it a 3 for packaginf just because the brush that comes with it doesn't really apply that much of the solution (I know it doens't count as "packaging" per say).....but I just use the tip of the "mascara wand" to apply it.

I have been notcing that my lashes are alot longer, I don't notice too much thickening with the product, but that is because I do not avidly apply it every night, but when I do use it for at least 3 or 4 days in a row I can tell my lashes are longer and a littttttleee bit thicker.... I found mine at Planet Beauty!

Great great product. I used it for my almost inexistent asian lower lashes (which could be counted on one hand) and after few weeks, my lower lashes tripled and are also long. I can now put mascara on.

I heard that when stopping using lash growing products, your lashes kind of fall out and the length comes back to the before-using normal length. this is definitely not the case with Double-Lash. I stopped using it for a while and my lower lashes are still the same =)

I´m really surprised by this product. I had no expectations really..but I used this every night for about 4 weeks - and THEN I started seeing results! And now, after 7 weeks, the results are really good.
My lashes used to be quite thin, and medium long - they were also really, really sparse with areas that looked like I´d lost a bunch of lashes.
Now, my lashes are a whole lot thicker, they are a tiny bit longer (approx. 1-1,5 mm), but the best part is that the sparse areas without lashes is gone. I have a full and nice lashline now.

I´ve not noticed any darkening of lashes, nor have they been curled - and I don´t think this product gives super-super long lashes - you have to try something else for that , BUT it gives you fuller and healthy looking lashes. I´ll re-purchase, absolutely. Love this, I really don´t need volumizing mascaras anymore...This is super :)

Ps. Don´t like the applivator, it should have been a soft tip to use along the lashline...I use the brush on lashes,and an eyeliner-brush along lashline as well..

Good luck ladies, and yes, try this. It works :)

Of the two lash conditioning products I've tried, this is my favorite. It took two months, but my lashes are indeed noticeably longer, darker, and somewhat thicker. They're not better looking than ever before, but they are as good looking as they have ever been.

Pros: Smooth texture, non-irritating to my sensitive eyes, genuinely improved look of lashes (with considerable patience.) Best of all, it works well as a primer under mascara, so I can use it day and night.

Cons: I wish the brush had a soft tip for applying along the lash line as well as to lashes themselves.

Having read the reviews for Mavala Double lash on MUA (as I do for almost every beauty product I buy so as not to waste money) I was raring to give it a go, but still maintained a quiet sense of 'It'll work for everyone else, but not me!', which I'm sure most reviewers on here can relate to.

Anyway, I managed to find DL online for around £6. The packaging is of a nice quality. You get 10ml of product in a container that somehow reminds me of the old TipEx bottles. Attached to the screw-top lid is a small mascara-type wand which you use to apply the misty white-ish product to the lashes.

The leaflet that comes with the box says to use DL nightly for around 30 days in order to see visible results. However, I have using it for around half a week and am already seeing a visible improvement to my lashes! My upper lashes are dark and of medium length and thickness, but my lower lashes were practically non-existent. Now, I can actually see that I have lower lashes, and they are even darker than they were before due to the new growth. So far, I'd say I've had a growth of about 1 to 1.5 mm on my lower and upper lashes.

As for thickness, I can see why some reviewers claim that their lashes are thicker after using DL. Since the lashes grow from the root not the tip, the base of the lash becomes thicker at the bottom, giving the appearance of denser or even more populous lashes.

Overall, I am very impressed with Mavala so far! Once I have been using the product for 30 days or so, I plan to have my eyelashes tinted (the tips are quite light in colour) so that I can really SEE the results. I will be updating this review as I continue to use DL, but for now I would highly recommend it! 5 stars!!

This works on me in just 2 weeks! unbelieveable! for the it comes with, i think this is worth buying. My lashes grow noticeably longer. i apply it once a day, at night. It also moisturizes your lash that your mascara glides so easily the next day.
