Yummy lemon-almond scent that feels very soothing on the skin. Great for hands... I've purchased this several times.

I adore Smitten!
It smells strongly of Snowcake soap, to me, a cinnamony smell.
As with all LUSH products, it isn't for everybody, but I urge you to give it a try if you can!
I use it regularly in the winter to avoid dry, cracked hands. And during the rest of the year, I apply it before bed every single night!

I have extremely dry hands with eczema. Smitten left my hands feeling soft and smooth after repeated use. It is a bit greasy when you first apply it though and I loved the smell of it. I really don't like using tubs though, prefer to squeeze my hand cream out of a tube because it can get everywhere when you open it up after it's been in your bag and you have to use two hands, one to hold the tub and the other to hand the lid. This is a big factor for me as I apply my handcream regularly and for this reason I won't be repurchasing.

Not a fan of Smitten. It moisturized well & I used every last drop, but it didn't make it on my "must have" list. The smell was strange to me...smells like hay. It's pricey for hand cream & product gets caught in where the lid screws onto the pot, which then turns brown & icky.

This cream makes my hands the softest they have ever been and smells absolutely yummy! I'm really a fan of foodie scents, so the sweet almond scent is right up my alley. This sinks pretty quickly into my skin and only feels greasy for a few minutes. As with most Lush products, you only need a small amount to get the job done, so use sparingly! I would buy this again no questions asked.

this smells "cute" to me for some reason, like a clean adorable baby or something. it's very moisturizing and i love the way it feels. i like to use this at night and right out of the shower, and in combination with helping hands and lemony flutter my hands are really soft.

I actually really like this- usually I don't mess around with lotion, because it's hard to find cremes that don't irritate the excema on my hands(think freddy krueger style- not pretty) but LUSH doesn't have a whole lot of that.

Glancing through the prior reviews, I notice a lot of people don't like the smell. I actually like it. At first it smelled- and this is the only way I can think to describe it- like play-doh. After it sinks in, I still get a little of that, but it also smells like Almonds. REAL almonds, not the sickly sweet version.

It only took the tiniest dab, so I think this tub will last a awhile. It seems to be a good moisturizer, though maybe my skin's not the best guinea pig, lol.

I admit, I like this mostly for the scent. I am not usually a hand cream girl, which I guess is why my cuticles are a mess, and I usually try to find any lotion that sinks in in a snap. I have a small pump bottle of this, and a little goes a long way. It moisturizes very well and keeps my hands looking smooth for several hours. However, my only gripe is that it does take quite a while to sink in, I don't like touching things with oily/lotion-y hands or else I would use this more. I think if you were to use it before bed it would be great. Still, the best thing about this, in my opinion, is that beautiful Snowcake almond smell.

I have this hand cream everywhere home, work, purse and love, love the smell. When you can't get snowcake, this is a nice alternative to knowing what the scent is like.

Smell is the biggest factor that turns most people off with this product, however it does amazing stuff to your dry skin. those of you conscious of the smell throw on a massage bar prior to putting smitten on.

This hand cream works wonderfully. Leaves a soft, dewy film on the hands for quite awhile. This does not smell exactly like Snowcake, so at first I was disappointed. BUT, I am now addicted to this Snowcake-ish smell. It makes your hands feel divine. I like it much better than Handy Gurugu or Helping Hands. It is heavenly going on. UGH...I now have yet another Lush addiction. ;)

Smells so much like Snowcake. And it absorbs very nicely into the skin. Skin feels so soft and smells so yummy. I think its better than Helping Hands because HH always felt a little too greasy for me.

This is an okay hand cream. I love the almond scent which lasts a long time and the texture is nice. I would not repurchase since there are many other creams that are similar or better than this one. LUSH has been a disappointment lately. I think the novelty has worn off for me.

Smitten is a decent hand cream from LUSH. It's not as good as its sister or brother cream Helping Hands. Let me tell you why. First of all, the scent which is kind of almond-like and way too heavy is horrible! I definitely prefer the Helping Hands scent over this one. Even my mother and father who are normally not sensitive to fragrances could detect this fragrance from the other side of the house. This scent got them questioning "What cream are you using, wow smells so heavy!".

Texture-wise I like the cream. With one exception. I don't like the oily film that will stay on for quite a while. This hand cream is moisturizing. But you have to re-apply after having washed your hands. I feel that the moisturizing effect I get from using the HH cream is much more long-lasting. The SA at LUSH told me that Smitten absorbs into the skin quicker than HH. Funny, I discovered quite the opposite.

This is good hand cream if you can stand the heavy scent. I would not repurchase this particular hand cream from LUSH. I much prefer Helping Hands over this one. As with all LUSH hand creams a little goes a long way. That's a pro with this product.

I love the way this cream feels on my skin - it leaves it super silky and smooth... however, the smell is horrible on my skin. I don't know if it's just my body chemistry, or if I got a bad batch, but I also smell the weird playdoh scent (and I don't mean that in a nostalgic good way). After it's been on for a little while the smell fades a bit so it isn't so bad, but this is just a so-so product for me. I'm holding out for something that feels amazing on my skin AND smells delicious! :)

This is the first LUSH product (besides bombs and bubble bars) I might actually consider repurchasing. I have super finickey eczema prone hands that have love/hate relationships with hand lotions. This is love! Texture is smooth and creamy and light. It leaves my hands moisturized without feeling coated. And the smell! It's really nice - a subtle, slightly sweet almondy smell that's not too Lushy (Lush products smell weird to me in general. This one isn't overly weird or distinctly Lush. Just nice.). I got it in a Christmas set and it came in a little pump bottle (SA said it's the only place it's packaged that way), which I love! If I have to buy a tub I'll probably use it to refill the pump dispenser. It's awesome!

Decent moisturizing,
strange scent. I don't think it smells like Snowcake soap =S
I dilike how the LUSH products are so pricey =[
Repurchase since I love everything about this except for the scent

Absolutely in heaven! Even if it didn't work (which it does and quite well, too) I would buy this and smear it all over myself just for the scent. My hands get very dry and my cuticles crack and while I love Neutrogena hand cream and will probably still have it on hand for the winter, this is a gorgeous product that I will be repurchasing year-round.
