This mask is a good spot treatment for people with sensitive skin who cannot use other acne treatments (e.g., benzoyl peroxide). I use it for spots of rosacea and it is the only thing that works-- it is a godsend. Note that some people are allergic to sulphur, though, and should not use it.

I love Peter Thomas Roth skincare, but don't care for this mask. It did not help with my blemishes at all. I get better results with Clearasil's green clay mask and with an aspirin mask. My skin type is: sensitive/combo to oily/acne prone.

This is excellent in combating pimples. Since I have dehydrated and sensitive skin, I just dab a little on the pimples. The zits disappear instantaneously. I've tried other expensive pimple creams and they're nothing compared to this mask. I apply it on entire face when I feel my skin is oilier and congested. It takes away the oilies immediately and deep cleans the pores better than conventional clay masks. I'll try the Sulfur Cooling Mask next when I manage to finish this. One jar can easily last me 6 or more months. The sales person told me that the therapeutic one has higher concentration of sulfur and fights acne better. But I also liked the cooling effect of the other one. Anyway, I hope to try the cooling version the next time I repurchase. Definitely a "5"!

I agree with MelissaS---this is the one mask that *always* works for me, but I have a few emphatic cautions: if your skin is dry or sensitive, you probably *don't* want to try this product. It's great for oily skin like mine, but it's harsh, aggressive stuff, and it will make already-dry skin much, much drier. I find that ten minutes is more than enough for my skin. That said, if you have oily or acne-prone skin, and you're not particularly sensitive, this stuff will clean pores and zap zits like nobody's business. The sulfur scent will linger on your skin long after you rinse the mask off, unless you actually SHOWER, but...well, the results are definitely worth a little sulfur, or an extra shower.

This mask does wonders for my skin. It dries up zits like nobody's business and my skin glows after using it. I keept it on for about 15 give or take depending upon my skin that day. It's a little pricey but worth it.
