This color is just yuck. Kind of reminds me of a frog, which would be fine, except sprout is TOO shimmery. It might have not worked b/c my eyes are green...I just put the sucker up for swap.

I like this color. It's a really pretty green, and looks great paired with Gorgeous Gold and Sumptuous Olive.

So pretty in the pot; it's like spring personified in eyeshadow form! Unfortunately, its texture is chalky, and it's practically impossible to blend even with a primer/paint or concealer underneath. But I'm as stubborn as this shadow, and I'm going to keep it anyways in hopes that maybe one day it will work for me. Such a shame.

I thought I was the only one but I found this color absolutely gorgeous in the pan but when I went to apply it, it was hard in texture and had absolutely no color payoff what-so-ever. I was so disappointed!

I gave it a 3 because whenever I used to wear it I always looked at myself in the mirror later thinking I should have worn a different eye shadow color, so now it just sits in my makeup drawer.

Like some other people said, this particular frost eyeshadow is hard to work with, which makes me sad because it is a very pretty light-golden green color.

The only way I can get sprout to show up is if I use Lucky Jade shadestick and pack it on my eyelid =/

I don't know if I just got a bad pan, but the texture of this shadow is so hard that I get no colour payoff at all. If I ran a razor blade over the surface to scrape up some product and then ran my brush over it, it might work, but it's not worth the trouble. I think it's going back. To bad, it's such a pretty green.

I love this e/s to make my eye color take on green tones! A perfect grass shade, I push it onto the lid over a base and get decent color payoff.

I usually steer away from greens, because I don't think they look very nice on me. However, while browsing the eyeshadows the other day, Sprout caught my eye. I put some on the back of my hand and was amazed at how pretty it was, so I had to buy it. I tried it today with Sumptuous Olive (I'm really trying to like greens!), and I have to say that I'm glad I bought it. It's a shimmery green flecked lightly with gold. If you're looking for a green that will really brighten up your eyes, I would definitely recommend this green.

This is a pretty green with flecks of gold. I love the pot color, but have to apply over a base to get it close to that! I have apply a couple layers to get it to be as intense a color as I'd like. It's a nice color, but a bit more work, so I don't use it as often as I should. Great paired with Unorthodox.

I have to mix this with Guacamole for it to show up it's true color. It is quite dry and not deeply pigmented but it's a gorgeous color and there's no other comparison to it on the market.

OMG and i thought i was the only one with the misfortune of having a non pigmented.. dry, hard "sprout".. i exchanged it 2x already.. in hopes of getting a newer one.. but to no avail.. I love the colour in the pot, but the texture when u try to wear it SUCKS!! obviously would not buy again.. unless it was more pigmented, smoother and easier to blend.

this was the first eyeshadow I've bought, together with the pink venus. I really like the colour, sure, it's not the most extraordinairy, but is it's nice anyway. I don't understant that some of the reviews told it's so lightly pigmented, I find it very heavily pigmented(when used over an eyeshadowbase). when I put is on my eyes, it looks like the eyes of christiuna aquilera on the viva glam V flyer.

pretty!!! :)

I bought sprout when on the search for a very specific green shade...in fact I wanted the exact shade of the jade shadestick but in powder form and this was the closest. It IS a tad on the dry side but I find if I use a denser brush it goes on fine. This is one of my favorite shades and I reach for it often...very pleased with this purchase. I'm a warm ppp with brown hair/eyes and this shade is very complimentary, brings out the honey/gold in my eyes.

I love Sprout smudge on crease, with Jest as wash and De Menthe to line. :) Very pretty look.

Sprout is a yellow based light mossy green with shimmer. It's very pigmented and blendable. It is a bit bright, so I just use a light hand when applying. Overall, a great color!

I've never had a dry, crumbly MAC shadow--at least not one from the actual MAC counter. Sprout is fabulous! I actually wear a good deal of green shadow, and Sprout is unique because it is quite metallic, which makes the whole green eye really shine. Like similar MAC shadow, works both as a wash and for more pigment--especially if wet.

This product sucks! I should have listened to the reviews before buying...I wouldn't have minded that the color didn't work too great on my NC30 skin (I would have just swapped it), but I couldn't give away something with such a CRAPPY texture!

I had to practically scrape it out of the pan, and go over my eyelids with my e/s brush like a 100 times, for even a small amount of color to show up (basically, I blended so much that my lids hurt).

Worst MAC e/s EVER! Oh well, I returned it and got my money back, thank goodness for that! :)

this was my first mac eyeshadow. so far i'm impressed with the application and staying power its just the color that made this product worth only 3 lippies. on me its a grassy golden green. theres nothing too unique about this color, but i suppose its alright.

Sprout is a medium green with a slight gold shimmer. I was not at all impressed by the color or it's uniqueness (rather, lack of.) I get the very same color by layering golden olive pigment over humid. It goes well with colors like Glare and Atlas, and on the darker side, Humid and Velvet Moss. I don't see myself repurchasing though.
