I love this eyeshadow. I have fair skin and always have trouble finding eyeshadow that doesn't show up too dark on my skin. The darker the eyeshadow, the more tired I look. This does the job, but you may need to use some brown eyeliner.

This quad really disappointed me. The colors are not very pigmented and don't last very long. It's hard to get any of the product onto the brush and show on my eyelids. I would have to try using this as a bronzer somehow.

These are simply too light for my medium complexion. I use them wet as a wash all over my eyelid right up to the brow bone for those days when I just want a very subtle extra depth. If I didn't point it out to people, no one would realise I had eyeshadow on. I want a bit more punch for my money. No rebuy here.

I used this product to do my little sister's eye makeup. The colors in the package looked really pretty BUT there is not enough pigment. They are just too sheer - no real definition between colors. I kept re-dipping and adding color but it didn't make a difference.
I gave them 2 lippies because they are really pretty colors and you could probably get more leverage with an eye shadow base or with really dark colors not nudes. I guess they would be good starter eye shadows for a younger girl.
The packaging is effective - nothing special.
I won't buy them again.

Hardly no pigment, lots of fall out, and the brush can hardly pick it up. It's just not a good product. I wouldn't buy it again. But I will say, the extremely small amount of color that does come off onto your skin DOES stay there all day.

Pros: I love the colors in this palette and I am a light to medium Asian. If you are a young girl and want a dramatic smoky eye, steer clear of this product! This will give you a barely there natural look which is nice and appropriate for some occasions. I give it a "4" because it doesn't deserve a "5" like some premium brands (Dior, for example) but for the price (I got this on clearance for $1.75) you cannot beat it.
Cons: Cheap packaging (what do you expect for $6). Just be careful you don't drop it and it will last you awhile.

I found this quad at Rite Aid 75% off. With a $2 coupon it was free, and in the package the colors looked gorgeous. When applied, they're not so nice. They're not strongly pigmented, which is fine for the darker colors but lighter colors come up almost untraceable. They don't last long at all, which means all you're left with at the end of the day is sparkles where your shadow was placed. I wouldn't buy this again.

I really love this product. I have sensitive skin so not everything can work for me but this eyeshadow is just fine. I love the shade for my medium to fair skin tone. It looks really natural and truely does last all day long. I would absolutely recommend this product. :)

I like to look like I have no makeup on, just a healthy glow where people comment on how well I look.
The colours in this palette are great for that 'nude' look if you are fair-skinned.
Easy to apply with a slight sheen no sparkles which for me is great, I don't like to sparkle these days.
Does last the full 12 hours without touchups there is a little creasing even with primer but nothing noticable.
These shades give me a really good wide awake look and make the green in my eyes stand out.
I tend to use my own brushes as I find the sponges to be useless. Packaging is OK nothing to write about.
I own several of these palettes in different shades and I love to mix and match.

As the other viewer stated, this shadow is light. It is a ok product for a work day look. One must be fair skin toned to wear this. Cool skin toned people will not enjoy it much since the color (if one is fair enough) is more on the warm side.

I'll start with the positives: The colours in this quad are well chosen, flattering neutrals that should suit pretty much anybody. There isn't a single unwearable dud among them, as is so often the case with eye shadow pallettes. They don't crease on the lids and feel lightweight and pleasant.
Negatives: These shadows are so poorly pigmented that they barely show up, in fact to get any kind of result you pretty much have to trowel them on. I am a fan of the natural look, but come on! The fact that I have to apply several layers of each shade just to get some kind of result does not save me time early in the morning. I imagine these would be good for makeup beginners as it is impossible to overdo it with these. I will use the quad up but will not repurchase.
EDIT: Have upped to three lippies as the intensity of these shadows is much improved when they are applied wet.

Photo posted of the shadows and of them swatched on my nc20-25 skin.
These quads tend to apply more on the sheer (but not chalky imo) side but even for that this palette is more on the lighter, subtle side.
When u use it damp, like all the colorstay quads, the results are even stronger. i keep a mini spray bottle of distilled water to use to spray on my brushes when need be.
not too shimmery at all! but not too flat either.gives a great sheen.
reminds me of a poor girls version of a bb shimmering nudes palette or something. not the same, but similar nude but better effect achieved imo
one lippie off for the less then sturdy compact (be careful the hinges break easy)
This is really sheer and light so workay not work for everyone. Its a very subtle my eyes but better look for me.
**.if your not light toned...you will *most likely* have to apply these damp. Either way, its a pretty natural quad, with the capability of more a little more drama if you add more, and maybe smoke up the darker brown. Flattering colors non the less.

I picked this up (online) when I bought the Physicians Formula Matte Quad in Classic Nudes because I couldn't decide which one would be more suitable for my needs. Before using, these colors looked better than the other set but they didn't perform as well. Don't get me wrong, these are nice but they have a slight shimmer I couldn't see when I ordered it. It's not too noticeable but the pigmentation is better with the PF set. Revlon's quad didn't crease and the colors wear well so I'm not disappointed. I still plan to use these but I won't repurchase. Comes with two applicators and they dust up in the compact a little.

This is a really great neutral eye quad for someone that's very fair. I can understand why some people are having problems with it and the unbalanced rating... However for me, this is the perfect no brainer neutral eye quad. It's obviously not a dramatic quad but great for retro looks, work, daily low-key days and just days where you don't want a lot of color on the eye but emphasis with shadows and a bit of an eye brightener.
As usual the Colorstay quads are paired with very complimentary colors (if it works with your skin tone). The texture is a bit odd but I think if you've used Revlon eyeshadows you'll just adjust to it. They're still pigmented but work best with a primer. I find it weird that these eyeshadows swatch on the arm with a pearl finish but applies nothing of the sort on the eye lid. The pearl finish instead disappears and leaves a matte look with a very natural "luminance". Very nice for tired days too. Can be used wet/dry. Will rebuy.
NC15, Asian with neutral/warm ivory tones for reference.

I have greenish eyes, auburn hair and fair skin. I find this eye shadow really perfect for daytime...at 45, less is more. Blends beautifully. Will definitely purpase again.

So disappointing! After surprisingly loving a Revlon quad in pinks (Berry Bloom), I was excited to purchase a palette in my favorite neutrals. Should have done my research here first! Like many other reviewers have noted, these colors don't show up! Only the darkest shade shows up on me, and still is very sheer. And my skintone is on the light side of fair-medium (medium brown-blond hair, green eyes, a little bit tanned but essentially light skinned). The top three shades just...don't show up. Still, I only spent maybe $5 on this, yet I wish I could've spent that on a more appropriate color choice, being a broke student whose dinero is precious. I'll try applying it wet, but I don't expect too much. Only try this if you're pale!! It will probably be good for a natural look on very light skinned wearers.

The color does not come up that great on my skin, I am tan...
mabye I should try it wet like someone suggested?

I should have read the reviews on this before buying. Many people mention that it's great for fair-skinned people. I guess I am not pale enough, because these colors don't show up on me very well. The first three shades don't show up at all. The darkest shade shows up very lightly if I apply several layers. When I do that, it evens out my lid nicely and darkens it ever so slightly for a nice no-makeup look. If I could only re-purchase the darkest shade, I would. But the rest of the quad is unfortunately pretty useless to me. I can't comment on the lasting quality or blend-ability since they don't show up on me. But I will say that these shadows feel soft.

I agree, these shadows are very pale in colour. I am PPP and they don't really show up on me or do anything....well, that was until I started applying them WET (w/mixing medium) - that has made a huge difference! I can now SEE the colours and get some definition on my eyes. They are a nice quad if you want a neutral everyday natural looking eye. I don't think I would buy again purely because I have other brown quads that make my eyes pop more, but I am much happier using these now that I apply them wet and will be happy to use the quad up.

I am very fair and cool-toned and I like this quad a lot. I remember the old wet/dry shadows and still mourn their untimely demise, but these are a decent substitute. This is perfect for a daytime work look - just enough to look awake and polished without anyone noticing your makeup. The colors look shimmery in the pan but I would call them pearl - they have just a slight pearly glow that brightens my eyes. I find that it lasts all day without creasing, and I never use primer.
