Unless I use these wet, the colours really don't show up at all. I do however use the top two as all over eyeshadow bases for those days when I've had no sleep but want to look as if I have. They work well for those purposes, and the last colour works well as a lightish powder liner for a fairly subtle daytime look. I don't find they last 12 hours but they do make it fairly well through an eight hour work day. I will not repurchase because there are better products out there at a cheaper price.

Good for a smoky eye. The shadows are a bit chalky as stated previously but with a good base and enough blending you should be fine. This looks great on green eyes.

The color combination is really good - somebody else on here said grea for a smokey eye and they're totally right. they're a bit chalky which i didn't like. also, the top cover part broke off which makes me nervous to put them in my makeup bag when i go out. i wouldn't buy it again because there's much better eyeshadows out there with better pigmentation.

I love that this shadow does not wear off or crease at all even after long wear. The only negative I have is that it doesn't go on "smooth." The only way to describe is that it kind of skips when going on and it doesn't blend well. It seems to work better if I use a brush to blend instead the enclosed applicator. I also wish it had a bit more sparkle instead of being so matte but the staying power overrides anything negative!

As a rule, I like Revlon Colorstay e/s quads. They tend to be colors that wear well together. Pigmentation isn't bad and neither is the wear. Sterling Rose is a nice, subtle, neutral set and I love me some neutrals, so I'm a fan.
Top: kind of a sandy, champagne, shell color.
2nd: silvered cotton candy
4: kind of graphite; just a couple of shades darker than the silver
All the colors have a bit of shimmer but aren't loaded with sparkle. They're just not matte and can tend toward frost if applied wet or foiled. Good for a kind of sheer, work-appropriate smoky eye.

Very pigmented colors, great for doing a smoky eye. The colors really do last for 12 hours! I would highly recommend it!
Age: 19-24 Skin: Normal, Medium Hair: Black, Wavy, Medium Eyes: Brown
Very beautiful colors and long lasting shadow. Great for smoky eyes because the blue tone grey make a good work with the black tone grey. the other two color is good for hightlight too. ! I'd like to buy other colors from this collection

i love the quads but they are just too powdery for my liking... too much fall out. you have to be really cautious with them.
1st shadow - dark champagne is a perfect lid color. this is the only one i'm impressed about in this quad. it has a light brown color with goldish pearl undertone. so cute and lovely on the lid. but you really have to pack it on to get the truest color
2nd shadow - pink champagne.. pinkish with like gold pearl undertone.. is a pretty color but doesnt show up my skin at all. but this would be lovely on fair skin.
3rd shadow - gray with white pearl undertone (at least that's what it looks like on the quad. on my lids they look bluish... sooo its whack
4th shadow - black-blue (i think)... its okay... i like it. its matte. its not too harsh looking, very wearable... great for light smokey eye looks. i actually like it....
Basically its an okay quad,,, maybelline quads have better pigmentation in my opinion and they are not powdery like this revlon colorstay quad. its alright, i'm gonna make it work, but i wouldnot repurchase. c",)

the colors blend beautifully for a daytime smokey eye look. try using revlon creme eyeshadow quad in "twilight" as your base, the colors match perfectly together!
Age: 18 & Under Skin: Oily, Dark Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
This would be a really good smokey eye quad for lighter skin tones but on my caramel colored skin it works for a subtle daytime look. There must be something wrong with my quad because the dark color isn't very pigmented at all. Overall I guess this is a good palette.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination, Fair Hair: Blond Eyes: Blue
This is a great quad - best for cool and pale ladies - to do either a smokey look or an ethereal look. I am very fair and blonde, so I look like I have been punched in the eye if I get too much pigment or darkness. I don't have any problems with this quad and can use the darkest color (dark, dark greyish black) to sexify the look for a night out. The pink, blue, and champage colors can be blended for a pretty and delicate daytime look. The package is easy to work with - it flips open vertically, which is good if you're in a rush. Lasts all day on me without creasing, even through a messy workout. I suspect olive or darker skin tones wouldn't like this palette as much as I do, unless they enjoy a very, very subtle look. In my own opinion, Revlon has the best quality shadows of any drugstore brand.

Very beautiful colors! Great for smoky eyes! I'd like to buy other colors from this collection if they can improve the lasting power of these eyeshadows.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium Hair: Brunette Eyes: Brown
Age: 19-24 Skin: Dry, Fair-Medium Hair: Blond Eyes: Blue
The pigmentation is not great, but that's okay for me. I don't like my eyeshadow to stand out much. It's lasts pretty well, probably not 12 hours though. Overall, I'm very happy with this product.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Very Oily, Tan, Warm Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown
This creates the a good smoky eye look for a beginner like me. Im not good at it so the black, dark grey, and dark blue grey colors are fool proof. Perfect for a night out. I bought this in 2006 and I am still using this palette and not bought a new one. So thats great!!!
Age: 18 & Under Skin: Acne-prone, Fair Hair: Blond Eyes: Green
Great colors in this palette but it does not last all day. The dark grey and near black are a bit too cold for my skin tone as well and make me look a bit dead. The lighter colors are lovely though. This product also came with a Colorstay Eyeliner in black for me.

Sterling Rose is a quad with four different colors in it: a light pink color, a champagne color, a dusty blue-grey color, and a black/grey color which is the darkest. I actually really like this quad, it makes a very pretty eye, especially when applied wet (I have found this helps with the pigmentation). The staying power is fantastic, however the pigmentation is not great. I still love it and it is one of my HG quads.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Acne-prone, Fair Hair: Brown, Curly, Coarse Eyes: Brown
I must say, it does have fairly good staying power, although the colors aren't very pigmented. I felt that if the colors were bolder I would wear the quad more often. The only color, however, that I really use is the black, which I find turns into a gray almost after extended wear. I got this BOGO also, and bought the Revlon Colorstay liquid eyeliner to accompany it. The price wasn't too bad, although I wish Revlon would redevelop the formula to create a more dramatic eyeshadow.
Age: 44-55 Skin: Oily, Fair-Medium Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
I got this one BOGO. I personally think the third color is almost like the last color which is more on the black side. I would love to have the third color as a true silvery gray.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Oily, Fair Hair: Brunette Eyes: Brown
I actually really like this, I found that the colors look great all together. They are very smooth and pretty. The pigmentation is a little low, but these are better applied wet in my opinion.
