I have this in the long handle version. The hairs seem to be all over the place, even though I take care of my brushes. I've had to trim the hairs because they keep coming out of place. For such an expensive brush, I am not very impressed with the overall quality of this brush. If you are looking for a great blending brush, with much better quality, try MAC's #219.

I have this in both the long and short handled versions and I like both equally well. I use them sometimes for blending and sometimes for applying a wash. It's a good basic brush and I like having two so I don't have to wash quite as often (I use one for blending and one for applying shadow).

I bought this brush to replace my beloved FACE Stockholm #27 brush, which is the BEST brush for blending or an allover wash. I couldn't believe how hard the bristles of the Stila were in comparison to the FACE bristles! I immediately returned it and went back to FACE.

I use this brush to set my concealer with loose powder. It works perfectly. It's very soft, and the handle is perfect. I have the shorter one. Highly recommended.

I got this brush in the short handle and love it. #9 blender is perfect for "erasing" the lines of demarkation of your eyeshadow. I hate where the colors arent blended so well, but this brush really blends the colors together without losing the colors. And i love the short handle! This is replacing my BB blender brush and is almost identical but my BB has a long handle that doesnt fit anywhere but this brush fits everywhere. I think this is a great tool to have. Silver handle and nice quality.

I use this to apply overall washes of color--not even to blend colors like other reviewers. It's great. Don't remember when I bought it...

This is a great blending brush, it doesn't take away what you worked so hard to apply, just does the job of blending & softening the e/s. It is also soft, so no irritation on the delicate eye area. My everyday staple.

Hmm... I seem to be the minority here. I don't find this brush anything special. I have had Paula Dorf's sheer crease brush, which is basically the same shape and everything (you may use it to blend if you like), but with MUCH softer bristles. Stila #9's shape might look very pointy on the websites, but it's been held together by glue. Once the glue's broken or washed off, it fluffs up and becomes huge. And the size of this brush is simply too big to blend the harsh lines on my eyes, since my eyes are not very big, basically the size is large enough to wipe my entire lid at once. I might have to give it more test drives and if I find it otherwise, will update.

I dislike having obvious lines when I use crease colors. This helps to smooth & soften the edges to perfect my e/s look. It's ultra soft & I have also used this as a crease brush as well. I highly recommend this.

I don't know how I ever lived without this brush! It is definitely worth the $29 investment. It is great for blending, creating a wash of color, or highlighting.

This is just the right size brush to blend crease shadow into the rest of the eye, to avoid a harsh line.
It looks like a sable watercolor brush. It's very soft, but the relatively fine point makes it easy to direct to the area under the brow where you want to blend shadow (or blend across the lid--if you apply two shadows there.)

Lovely brush with really silky bristles. This was actually softer than MAC's version, which was why I paid slightly more for it. The Stila MAs insist this is for blending: "never put any product on this brush!" I ignore them and use it to darken my eyelid crease. :)

This is another multi purpose Stila brush. This one has longer bristles that taper towards the end. It blends eyeshadows together nicely is your lines are too obvious and it makes a great crease brush (although it totally doesn't look like it would). I really recommend this one!
