My ABSOLUTE favorite Mac eyeshadow. In the pan and even swatched on its a deep bronzey gold but it has a very warm almost orangey undertone, so I like to place this all over the lid and and then buff out the edges and it looks like i'm wearing two different colors.
I highly recommend this for girls with tan skin w/ warm undertones. Just for your reference I'm a NW35.

This is my go-to gold shadow. I love this shadow so much because it has a really nice and smooth application on the lid and is easy to blend with colours as well. I also love that it has more of a brown tint instead of yellow in it because it compliments my medium brown eyes better. Definitely a staple in my makeup collection, will definitely buy again!

As all Mac products are, this is kind of expensive but it's perfect for everyday. Sometimes I just put it on my lids with something else like Satin Taupe in the crease. Woodwinked is a warm shimmery brown, not quite copper. Beautiful though

Woodwinked is a nice shimmery neutral brown that turns a bit orange on my skin. I like to use Woodwinked as a highlight color in the corners of my eyes and also to blend out harsh edges of other eyeshadows. When I'm running short on time and I need a quick wash of color on the lids, this is what I grab. You really can't go wrong with this shade, it's easy to apply and I often apply with my ring finger instead of a brush. A good basic to have in any makeup collection.

This eyeshadow for me has been WORTH EVERY CENT. I originally purchased Gold Mine by Mac when i was searching for a gold eyeshadow, but it was much too yellow to suit my skin tone. Next time I went to Mac, i was planning on purchasing a brown shadow instead. Then my gaze fell upon Woodwinked and it was love at first sight! This shadow is richly pigmented, with a warm, antique gold/bronze effect. I wear this only for nights out, as i feel it's quite glamourous and makes me feel special but not overdone. i have recieved many compliments on my eye makeup whilst wearing it. I have dark brown eyes, but i honestly think this is a shade that would compliment all eye colours. Only thing to keep in mind is it may appear slightly orange on very pale skin tones.

On my skintone this color looks more brown than gold. It looks like the swatches of patina on the net. This color is so versatile.
I wear it with lucky green, samoa silk, goldmine. But i guess it will suit all that glitters too. My skin tone is NC40.

Absolutely beautiful! It's a golden orange color that looks great on the lid or in the crease. I love the texture/formula, too. It's very versatile and you can create fancy or neutral looks with it.

Love the antique gold color. Kinda leans more taupe/brown on me than other reviewers have described, but I love it! Great for everyday or a dramatic look. Would definitely buy again.

I too found this eyeshadow to be very orange on my eyes. I played around with my paint pot bases and found it was terrible when using Soft Orche however when using Painterly the colouring was much better. Will need to play around some more, but so far so good!

Great gold, has a softened antique hue to it, looks great on it own or used with other golds, greens and browns another great shade for green eyes . in summer this is an easy go to ,all over lid colour looks fantastic with a tan.

This has got to be my all time favorite eye shadow ever!! Beautiful antique shimmery gold colour that suits NC40-42 skin perfectly.
I use this with MAC Brown Down, Texture and Black Tied to create a summery golden smokey eye and it's become a standard look for me.
The colour of this eye shadow pops really well so you only need to use a little bit. I've had the same pot for 5 years and it's still going strong.
I'd imagine this could end up looking a bit orange on fairer complexions but if you have tanned skin and haven't tried this, you really should, it's amazing and I'm sure you'll love it. I will most certainly repurchase this one again and again!

I LOVE woodwinked! Gorgeous, very smooth and silky! I tried naked lunch on the lids, but it was kind of blah and too frosty, and too plain on my lids. I have NC20 skin and Asian, with dark hair and a small crease. It is not orangey, but more of a light gold shade in my opinion and I think it is very flattering.
This has more of a wow factor but it doesnt look like too much or you put so much effort in to your face, just right! It just makes my eyes stand out. You can wear it alone which looks great or you can add a darker to crease or outer corner.

I looove this eyeshadow because at first glance it is a gold color but when you actually apply it, it has soo many dimensions. When you blend it out it has a reddish-coppery color. The only downside (not that much) is the fact that it can break easily if you drop it. Just be really careful when you travel with it so as to not break. Other than that, it is worth it.

this colour is absolutely stunning, a shimmery yellowy gold that looks perfect as a wash over the lid with a highlighted tearduct and lashings of mascara. it also seems too look different colours, as on the lid its a yellow gold as swatched, but blendedn up to the crease it appears more as a warm brown. only thing i must point out though, is its not for every skintone. im an nc35 and i think with paler skintones, it comes off slightly orangy. so try it out first if youve got paler skin, but on tanned skin its lovely

I do a lot of research before I buy products. And I did a lot of extensive research particularly on this one. Everyone said that it is a must have NEUTRAL color....which it is not on my skin tone. I am a NW20 and this color is straight up shimmery ORANGE on me. It is not flattering at all. I was trying to choose between buying this or satin taupe....it's pretty obvious I regret my decision :/

MAC Woodwinked is an oh-so-smooth coppery gold eyeshadow. It looks absolutely gorgeous on my NC35 eyelids all by itself. It brightens up any eyelook when used in the middle of the lid and when combined with darker browns in the crease, it looks super dramatic and gorgeous. It really brings out the sparkle in my brown eyes.
I love Woodwinked! It's a staple in my collection and a must-have IMO!

Woodwinked is a golden bronzed colour which is really shiny. I agree that it can look cheap on some skintones, but it suits girls who want to achieve a Victoria Secret model look - bronzed and shiny. It goes well with tan skin (perhaps not so much on fair skin) and it is a good base colour for brown smokey eye makeup. Wearing this alone is not a good idea because it makes me look sick and my eyes being swallon. I always use it with Twinks or other golden eyeshadows. It is a unique colour you can't find in other brands, but it's not flattering on everyone.

before I brought this product I read a couple of reviews....I thought why not Im sure it will look great.....oh no...on my NC50 skin, it makes me looked washed out and a little bit ill. I know so many people love this for darker skin tones, but i think it works better on NW tones then NC tones. next time i'll go for twinks

I am trying to love this eyeshadow, but just cannot get on with it! It makes my fair skin look just washed out. It's way too shimmery and gold for me, but won't send it back to MAC as my feelings may just change when my complexion changes in the summer. I think this may look better on tanned skin :o)
