Bow Belle is a frightening fuchsia/violet tinged wine in the tube, but it looked very different on my lips. I used a lip brush to apply it, and perhaps that made a difference. On me (NC30 MMM with pigmented lips), it's a very pretty high-shine raspberry color. I do see a similarity to Pop Mode in the tube, but Pop Mode looked terrible on me (the bronze tones made it too muddy) and this looks much nicer. Don't be scared, try it and you'll be pleasantly surprised!

I decided to buy Bow Belle after mulling it over for two months and got the last one at my Nordstrom! There's not much I can say that hasn't been said, but the most striking thing to me about Bow Belle is that is much more wearable and less dramatic on than the winey plum you see in the tube would have you believe. It reminds me of Pop Mode, only it's a little more on the berry side and flashes a subtle red rather than PMs bronze. It's a gorgeous color, one I think MAC is shortsighted to make LE!

I like this. It comes out purple on me, but sheer...not scary or too dark. I'm pale with blonde hair and don't feel it's too much.

One of my favorite lip colors is fuschia, even though I know that most people dread this color. Bow Belle is a deep berry fuschia that would look fabulous on deep/dark skinned ladies. I love this color cause its flattering and dramatic at the same time. Definitely one of MAC's more unique shades. I wish it wasn't LE, Bow Belle would be welcomed with all of MAC's look a like lipglass shades.

This is a very pigmented lipglass. The color is a rich shiny wine color. I love this with nude eyes. This is one of the few darker l/g in the MAC line and definitely a must-have. I'm ppp, red hair, blue eyes.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Normal Hair: Brown Eyes: Hazel
Love the color, it's not as dark as it looks in the bottle. Beautiful wine color, but not too dark...and glossy. The only downfall is the packaging. I don't like the lipglass in the pullout tube because it tends to not smell so great over time.

I love this color! Totally unique in my collection, as I tend to buy YLBB type glosses. This is worth adding though. The color has been described already, but I will add that the sheen is beautiful, and you can add to it by mixing it (lighten it up with Fool For You for example).
Definitely worth checking out, and since this is a bold color that I won't wear every day it will last a long time (a good thing since it's LE)!

I had no idea I (NC30)would actually love this berry/fuchsia lipglass. I always skipped it at the MAC counter but after reading all the raving reviews, I had to check it out myself. It looks like a bright and unwearable color but it is a wonderful color you can wear during the day and night. My counter had 4 of them left. It is LE so maybe I should go back and buy another one.

Why oh why are my favorite MAC lipglasses always limited edition?! *The* perfect berry/fuchsia color without being garish. My must-have fall and winter shade, for both day and night. Run to your local MAC counter and snatch this up before it's gone!

Gorgeous, buy it. Not as dark as it looks in the tube.

Agree with the other reveiwers that it's nice to see a lipglass with some color to it, and such a pretty color! A frosty plummy-berry, doesn't look as dark on as in the tube, although you can layer it up that way. I love this over my MAC Chic lipstick. And as with all my MAC, it has great quality and staying power.

Just when I had sworn off lipglass and decided to just wear l/s, MAC had to tease me (how appropos) with this. So I bought it. I haven't stopped wearing it yet. First of all, it's refreshing to see a dark shade of l/g. I'd say this is a shimmery raspberry/wine-ish shade that looks better and brighter with every layer. I feel like a glam star when I wear it, so if this is confidence in a tube, I say buy it.

YES! This is a great Lipglass. Like others have said, a lot of their colors are just the same tired pale pastels (do they seem a little gray, or is it just me?) but Bow Belle lets out the inner movie star. You can layer it for a more dramatic, intense look at night. Or you can just put on a little in the daytime for some shine and a hint of color. It also works well on top of other lipsticks. But get it quick ladies, it's selling out fast.

The best "dramatic" lip gloss I own. If you're used to neutral-looking lip glosses, you'll be afraid of this, but DON'T BE! It all depends on how much you layer on. If you put on a little, it brightens up your look, and if you put on a lot, you get an awesome look that would look great when you go out at night.

Wow. Just about the most perfect lipglass ever. I loved VGV and Pop Mode and now Bow Belle is on my most-loved list. This is described as fuschia, but on me, it is a soft wine-berry, like lips just out of the shower and not over the top at all. It is absolutely wonderful on matching Tempt Me lipstick. I hope these are permanent in the MAC collection because, like Plum Dandy and Pop Mode (which is wintery to me for some reason) these are the most perfect lip combinations for cool tones or any one who can wear wines and berries.

If you're looking for the perfect berry shade that isn't "over the top" then this is for you! I just got this yesterday and couldn't wait to try it on. It looks awesome applied over Tempt Me lipstick with a lipbrush to sheer it out. I also like applying it directly from the wand for high color pay off. On me it's a medium berry with a pinky purple iridescence. This gloss does have a bit of frost but nothing like that found in Prrr and Magic Spell. Has the typical vanilla scent and is one of my FAVE lipglasses now!

this is the first lipglass i've bought fom MAC in a while, because the past few collections have had too many light or neutral colors. i love bright pinks/fuschias like 'boy magnet' and 'pink poodle', but i also like deeper fuschias and this is it. in addition to being the perfect fuschia/wine color for fall, it has the most beautiful hint of shimmery reddish pink pearl in it. i look forward to layering it with other colors. this will suit a lot of skin tones, and though it looks great on my medium-toned skin, those with lighter skin-tones should not shy away as it is not as dark as you might think. i also feel like it will suit both cool and warm complexions. indeed, this is the perfect color for my fall makeup wardrobe!

Yes, this is a gorgeous color!!! I was beginning to lose faith in MAC's ability to come out with new lipglasses that weren't incarnations of the same "blah" color, and then they give us Bow Belle. It's a fuschia berry pearl and I love it! Bright and beautiful! (NW20)

Just when I thought NARS had a unique color that didn't come close to anything in the MAC line, along came Bow Belle lipglass.
Bow Belle is just like NARS Dirty Shame (a deep shimmery fuschia), but with the classic MAC lipglass consistency. I thought at first that it compared to NARS Boogie Nights more, but after trying them both on, I find that because of the thick consistency of MAC lipglasses, the color doesn't sheer out on the lips. The one thing that separates Dirty Shame and Bow Belle is that Dirty Shame has blue shimmer to it, while Bow Belle just has a fuschia shimmer.
I'm an NC35 MMM and if you like bold lips, this is a must!
